Thank you once again for a straight forward video on using the table tool. I have experimented with it but now I am really interested in going in and fooling around with it. You have made it so much easier with just a few of your tips. Keep on teaching and sharing.
Great video as usual. Thank you. Been trying to make a table in word but it did not work well. Tried in Excel and again it was more pain than gain. Finally I tried with Affinity Publisher after watching your video and it went great and the gride was finishe in 15 minutes.
Hi. Yes you can, you just need to save the table format and apply it to any other table you want to be the same. Select the table, then In the top long tool bar menu to the right hand side, you will see an icon for table format. Click that icon and that will take you into the table format panel. Then in the top right hand corner, select the drop down menu and choose add format from selection. Create a new table then apply the saved table format you have just created by selecting it in the table format panel. That will copy the style. Hope this helps.
You made it so easy to understand and make a fantastic table. Thank you. How did you copy "SOME TEXT" into multiple cells? I slowed down the video, looked at it on a larger screen and I still can't figure out what you did. Thanks.
Hi. I just paused the video for a moment while I added the Some Text into all off the other cells and then continued recording. I edit the video that way so you guys don't have to sit there and watch me copy and paste into all of the individual cells and take up more of your time.
I have many pages that need to have the same table format. One thing I could not find is how to format the text style in one cell of the master so that all pages will have that style by default
I don't think it's possible to use a table on a master page and set text styles as default. It may just be easier to create your table on a regular page, and format it the way you like and just duplicate that page when you want to use it again.
A question not dealing with this topic. I was working with Affinity 2 Publisher for quite awhile now, and all of a sudden, the bottom goes down too far, and I can't use the bottom slider to where I want the part I need to work on . I must have something done wrong unknowingly. I'm on a Mac, 2019 . . If twas doing fine til recently. Is there just something to pick or click not to bring it up> Thanks
Hi. This is something I haven't come across myself so I'm not sure how to fix it. Have you updated to the most recent version? Affinity released an update last week that may fix your issue if you haven't already updated.
@@MJWMediaStudios I’m thinking it’s Sonoma I have 2 desktop computers and the other one is Big Sur and it’s ok using that one right now. Problems with Sonoma rainbow ball just spins and spins

Thank you so much! Great Video!!
You're welcome 🙂
I did learn something from this video. TFS.😃
Beautiful, thank you.
Thank you for this! Fully appreciate teaching in point form as I will definitely be watching this numerous times when I try to set up tables myself.

Thank you for your great feedback. I'm glad that your enjoyed the tutorial 🙂
This seems so easy and efficient to quickly control every cell and border. I highly doubt it is this easy and effective in any Adobe program.

It's definitely one of my favourite tools to use in Affinity Publisher. Really glad this video helped 🙂
Great tutorial, thanks
Thanks, very helpful. Just making the transition. Can I copy a style from one table and paste to another table?

Can you add a diagonal line cell fill to indicate no entry?

How can I change the size of type in all cells that do not contain type?
How did you make the tables with round corners in your cardio example?
Just made a video to show this 🙂 Create Rounded Corners on Tables in Affinity Publisher V2
