I've sniffed the original oud at Gulab Singh Johrimal Attar shop in Chandni Chowk,Old Delhi. It's starting from rs. 20000 per 10ml to very very expensive prices. Trust me Friend, it's a real GEM. The real oud is really really really wild, Raw, bitter, rotten type smell but once you wear it a little, that thing will make you crazy and crave for more and more. Yummy it's really a yumm fragrance. I love it. Still I remember it.

Oh God! I am an Indian Tamilian and today I got to know oudbatti!! Have been using the word oudbatti since childhood! Till now I though oud is Arabic word. Ohh what a revelation! Thanks yaar!
@@officialazeem146 yes. But oudbatti is batti (incense sticks) made out of oud oil. Same in hindi is agarbatti, agar and oud are same. Maybe the word oudbatti/agarbatti came into existence because they might be predominantly using oud to make them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nikhil Bhai, Oud cultivation is also here in Bangladesh. In the Sylhet division. It's been here for a very long time. You should also collect sample oil review the quality of it. They mostly import oil in the Gulf.

Even he used to grew some plants. I was just 12/13, thought how can a tree can be so expensive. And now I am trying to know about it more.

Nikhil Bhai, Oud cultivation is also here in Bangladesh. In the Sylhet division. It's been here for a very long time. You should also collect sample oil review the quality of it. They mostly import oil in the Gulf.

Nikhil Sir I wnanna rectify to u that #aud is not generic term for agarwood...aud is arabic word...Which mean in english is #Stick_of_wood. I think u should use The generic or scientific botanic term for aud is #Aquilaria.

How do I go about buying my first gram and where can i try my options in India? Is the Ajmal oud al Raashid a good place to start or is it too adulterated?
