Perfect documentary, presents in an honest and real way the vocalist Arnel Pineda, who has no intention of comparing himself to Steve Perry, I liked the band having broken all paradigms by choosing a vocalist from the other side of the world.
I am admittedly one who believes that nobody can ever match the exquisite vocals of Steve Perry. That said - I have so much respect for Arnel for respectfully carrying on the great legacy like no ones business. He is a class act also and Im thrilled for how this band also changed his life.
What a very inspiring tell-all documentary of AP, from rags to riches, he certainly deserved what he had worked for! A very gifted man, with amazing, versatile tenor vocals who never stop believing, despite all the odds! It's sad to think that after all those years, he had experienced being bashed around for something that he was just doing his job when he was recruited! Hopefully, with much new music from Journey which was originally sung by Arnel Pineda, the bashing is noted to have diminished in numbers. I live through SP years but after more than 3 decades, of course, I have moved on. I have seen Journey with AP many times and he's doing a phenomenal job! SP himself made it clear that he is "not" rejoining Journey even though the humble and kind AP publicly claimed he would step back should SP wishes to rejoin. SO. let's just enjoy Journey's music with AP around-!!!!Without ongoing Concerts with a successful frontman, the music fades away along with the band-so thank you very much, Arnel Pineda, for keeping Journey's legacy alive! Hat's off!

He's a recording artist in the Philippines, he started with AMO Band (from Olongapo City), and they were having gigs in the city and then appeared on TV shows, and more gigs everywhere and concert, he's a humble down to earth guy. he's great singer and person, and we are all proud of him!
To be honest no one can replace anyone! But arnel he doing bloody good job! He is incredible!! My heart goes to him! So proud of you !

This is finally a reason to rejoice that Steve Perry unfortunately left Journey for good after _Trial by Fire_ and that Schon and Cain continued to keep the brand and the band alive against his will : in spite of himself, Steve actually allowed other singers like Steve Augeri, Jeff Scott Soto and of course Arnel Pineda to live the same daydream and sense of accomplishment that he did (for the positive facets of this frontman position, I'm well aware that there are darker ones as well), and to be able to fully embody the beautiful songs written or co-written by Steve that they were already projecting themselves into before, either as mere fans or already professional cover singers.
By the way, what does the acronym in "Blocked in NA-EU" mean: I am in Europe and could see this video without any problem?

@Fabiana Alba, as I was saying above, I was an SP fan, and I have moved after decades of SP not being around! but of course, SP is SP, and at those times in the '80s, but let's face it, even SP himself claimed he does not have the energy and can't do what he used to do. and will not be able to reach a high register sound It has something to do with age.
