    SIR.
It was an outstanding conversation between you and Gen Hasnain.
You have shown through maps & photographs that China has invested heavily in developing airfields, permanent fortified structures , villages, rail - road connectivity etc., close to the border. This is an extremely sparsely populated area with average height being 14000 above MSL.
The only reason can be a sinister design towards India.
We have no option other than maintaining extreme vigil along LOC.
A multi pronged strategy encomposing minimising trade dependency as prior to 1991, increasing our global foot print as a responsible & reliable partner in manufacturing - supply chain, incrising our offensive capability seems to be the only option.
Lastly we need to have a political continuity with respect towards such a policy.
    Regards.

Thank you. Generals. Succinct and informative. The rebalancing between the the Himalayan mountainous sector and the Maritime Indian Ocean sector is a strong message to China. Naval encounters in the Persian Gulf region is a projection of Indian naval power and we are learning on the fly. There would be other messages that I'm sure have already been given. That the initiative would not remain with them once hostilities break out, that their vulnerabilities would be exploited, that there would be bold and definitive Indian initiatives that will make them pay a price they would be unable to bear.

It is very pleasing to see and to listen our brave military veterans views regarding odds and evens and challenges of our national security. It should be enhance and quality wise. We must go in deep research to knows the faults line of Chinese so that we can combat the policy of Moutse tung that first counter attack and then self defense means Chinese has not made to commit mistakes means accept the hegemony of Chinese willingly or unwillingly. In past there were very bad images and reputation about our veterans that in Military there is also nepotism like cologium system of judiciary and they are Merry making and running dictatorship on the name of discipline in forces, but now things are going change which is very lucrative for nation And nationalist Jai Hind🙏

A really good analysis and reassuring. I am confidence in India’s ability. It is not the same India of 1862.
Furthermore, any war with India, may likely be met on multiple flanks by other countries also intimidated by China.
Not to mention the soft power of India is far more than that of China - that will squeeze China economically.

Good Evening Gen Hasnain Sir and Gen Shankar, very impressed by the detailed analysis. I have following pts
1.we are talking of strategy and tactics. China is Plg Grand strategy by coming into India and ‘ threaten’ the Siliguri corridor and the plains of North India by coming through Bhutan and Nepal like the Manstein plan of second WW. If the neutrality of Bhutan and Nepal are brushed aside and he comes through that , we would be more than shocked. So let’s expect and plan something at that level. He has enough missiles ( conventional) to pulverise these countries into submission. So let’s plan on that and don’t get complacent.
2 Whatever May happen in the IOR , we can’t do anything unless there is a war declared between India and China. So again we can do nothing to his shipping lines in front of the international community. Whereas China is salami slicing on our Northern borders every day whether peace or war. So we need to be more than aggressive here and build up forces As far as IOR is concerned, we can only build up our capabilities. Our Navy is yet to face the PLNA unlike our Army who faces PLA on a daily basis.
3 As far as psy ops are concerned, we are a poor third rate unlike China. We need to work on that alongside Tibetans and those of Xinjiang.
So Sir,we need to bring in our national policy to ensure that we as a nation are not surprised like 1962. We have to come out of 62 mentality and think of future scenarios. Rgds

Compliments on very vivid military analysis on our borders with China and where we stand in defence of the same.
The crucks of the matter appears to be "political continuity" with Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh ! We also should consider Maldives while thinking about the "political continuity" with "small, weak, India dependent" nation States, that surround our country !
Some diplomatic mistreatment is suspected to have resulted in Bhutan surprising India by opening direct dialogue with China on settlement of the border dispute with them, Bangladesh inching towards them for economic assistance, Nepal leaning on them for their essential supplies, like oil and gas etc, and Maldives "ordering us to evacuate" our soldiers out of their territory by a fixed time line !
Isn't our Diplomatic Corps making it difficult for our Defence Corps to secure our borders ??

Firstly, in terms of maritime power projection, India does have a significant advantage over China due to its geographic position and naval capabilities. The Indian Navy has been expanding its fleet and enhancing its capabilities over the years, including aircraft carriers, submarines, and surface combatants. In a maritime conflict, India could potentially disrupt Chinese maritime trade routes and chokepoints, thereby exerting pressure on China's economy and military logistics.
However, when it comes to the continental domain, particularly in the Himalayan region, China does possess significant logistical capabilities. China has invested heavily in infrastructure along its borders, including roads, railways, and airfields, which could facilitate the movement of troops, supplies, and equipment in mountainous terrain. Additionally, China's military modernization efforts have focused on enhancing its rapid deployment and sustainment capabilities, which could enable it to maintain a prolonged presence in the region.
In contrast, while India has also been improving its infrastructure and logistics capabilities along the border with China, it may face challenges in sustaining a prolonged conflict in the Himalayan region. The rugged terrain, harsh weather conditions, and limited infrastructure pose logistical challenges for India's military operations. However, India has been working to address these challenges through initiatives such as the development of border infrastructure and the modernization of its armed forces.
In terms of staying power, both countries have their strengths and weaknesses. China's centralized command structure and vast resources could allow it to sustain a prolonged conflict, but it also faces challenges such as potential supply chain disruptions and the risk of overextension. India, on the other hand, may face challenges in sustaining operations in both the maritime and continental domains simultaneously but could leverage its alliances and partnerships to mitigate these challenges.
Ultimately, the outcome of a potential conflict would depend on various factors, including each country's military strategy, readiness, resilience, and ability to adapt to evolving circumstances. It's essential to remember that war is a complex and unpredictable endeavor, and any assessment of staying power should consider a wide range of factors and scenarios.

Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, East Turkistan, Aksai Chin etc are closer to India than far east Main land China.
But unfortunately we have made Chinese mindset as our big brother and they have been bullying and over powered these farther lands keeping India a mute spectator.
Galwan also proved that our Army is clueless to handle mighty China, and got fooled with their mass troop movement at border.
