Like many others in the comments, I keep coming back to this jam. Your dextrous use of call and response, your timing, and the nice thick full sounds it generates, all make for a very catchy piece. Kudos!
That was seriously way too cool. What he's doing isn't easy. The timing and his sense of suspense and release was on point. I need one but I'm afraid to look at the price tag.
such a good jam! This video really highlights what this synth can do. I have been searching all over for content like this. Someone actually playing the instrument, not just telling me about the features - I can download the manual and read the features • but the manual can't can't make sounds like this for me :)
I had a moment when I got my Sub-37 and a Strymon-Big Sky in the same package, hooked it up, and after playing the first 2-3 notes I had a moment wehere I found myself, as you said, with the hand over my mouth, silence, thinking... Holy Mother of Sound ... I just love the sound
+NYCP NY I picked it up for $450 off Craigslist. There were a couple more on there but for a bit more. Then the one I got popped on there and I snagged it as soon as I saw it.
Ahh I see, yeah one of the other ones I was considering getting before this one popped up wasn't too bad of price relatively speaking. I emailed him asking why he was getting rid of it and he said he has 3 of them and thought he had 1 to many for what he want's to do with them. I actually ended up getting the 3 tier rack when I got the second one. My thought is that I can either create some blocks that I can use and mount my Minitaur on it on the top which would be the smart thing to do. Or I can get stupid (which isn't out of the question for me) and buy a third Mother. Not 100% sure which way I am going to go yet.
I had some weird distortions when I used my Subsequent 37 with the Hall of Fame 2 (especially with filtered low sounds) Almost like there was a spring resonating in that little red box.
Dang this is real minty! Fresh taste 👅😍🥰 I really like your use of key changes for chord progression! And that reverb sounds great, I have been looking for a reverb unit to pair with my moog tower (including the m32) great work! This Could even be an interlude track on an EDM full album if you’re not already planning that ;)
could listen to for hours, even days on repeat. would you please just jam around this way further for a good while? that would be a treat for many i suppose. thank you.
I wouldn't dislike this but I could maybe understand. Been an owner and a fan of Moog for a long time now and I personally feel like nothing they've done recently is all that different or groundbreaking. I personally feel like they charge a premium and have taken a back seat to innovation but that's just 100% my opinion and do not mean to offend anyone. They still make super quality synths however.
Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm new in the electronic music world. How do you produce the sequence of notes? Do you have an external keyboard? Thanks
There is a keyboard right there at the bottom (1 octave small grey burttons ) also it has a Voltage Controlled 32 Step Sequencer with 64 Sequence Locations inside
This ix cool. I love that one bar loop hypnotic techno shit, i jus got my first analogue synth the limited edition minilouge, and love the filter. Anyway I'm gonna have around £1500 mid Feb, all ways wanted a sub37 but now want to start s eurorack with the 32 plus DFAM, a Atlantis ,metropolis, clouds, rainmaker would b my next investments next to a sub37 if I went matrix... So what do u think, would u buy a sub37 or a DFAM + 2 x mother32s??? (PS I've not yet seen Namm footage yet)
Holds up well with time... still great after 8 years...
I revisit this specific video once every now and then. This is pure listening bliss.
Me too
I know right? It's so good...
Like many others in the comments, I keep coming back to this jam. Your dextrous use of call and response, your timing, and the nice thick full sounds it generates, all make for a very catchy piece. Kudos!
One of my favorite synth performances. Been coming back to this video for years.
I come and listen to this every once in a while. Pure gold.
thanks for the no talk :)
Dcup i like all talk no sounds😢
That was seriously way too cool. What he's doing isn't easy. The timing and his sense of suspense and release was on point. I need one but I'm afraid to look at the price tag.
i love these videos 10x better than a person talking about BS for 10 minutes then playing for 2
That pitch bending though. So accurate.
Fantastic sound of the Moog synthesizers, excellent demonstration!
That was pretty awesome. I wish I had a clue what was happening.
He definitely turned a knob at one point if that helps!
not much, really
please don't act like this is complicated what he's doing, just introductory subtractive synthesis.
@@BobrLovr well it is complicated looking, idk what all those knobs do Soo..
@@BobrLovr Please don't act nice. Your just a normal, everyday hater.
I get fucking stoked EVERYTIME I hear this.
This is a true Synthesist.
Bored Af he just needed one more layer.
It was still nice work. 🙃
Usually any synth video I watch I look at wha they doing, this one I just put on headphones restarted I'd and stared at the wall. Beautiful
Really great representation of what these machines are capable of. Thank you, beautifully done
I never get bored of this jam. Amazing!!!
Absolutely amazing and original! Props to him (whoever he might be).

Beautiful!!!
Looking many times and can't stop) cool!!!

My hands were over my mouth the entire time
I had a moment when I got my Sub-37 and a Strymon-Big Sky in the same package, hooked it up, and after playing the first 2-3 notes I had a moment wehere I found myself, as you said, with the hand over my mouth, silence, thinking... Holy Mother of Sound ... I just love the sound

Wonderfull! It takes me back to the track MicroWorld - X-Pression from 1995.
It's very impressive how he uses the knobs
lovely tunes -.-
Nice work
Nice work man. Well done!
Nice! I just got a second one (used) for a pretty decent price. This video shows how nice even just two together can be.
+NYCP NY I picked it up for $450 off Craigslist. There were a couple more on there but for a bit more. Then the one I got popped on there and I snagged it as soon as I saw it.

Could listen to that for hours.
The Mother 32 is even more impressive when two are used for multiple voices. I didn't get it before, but I do now!

This is beautiful. Thank you!
This one the coolest M32 vid. I’m late to comment.
How could even 12 people not like this?
I wouldn't dislike this but I could maybe understand. I personally feel like they charge a premium and have taken a back seat to innovation but that's just 100% my opinion and do not mean to offend anyone. They still make super quality synths however.
this is still such a cool and unique composition that I couldn't see someone disliking this regardless of whether or not they like the gear being used
Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm new in the electronic music world.
How do you produce the sequence of notes?
Do you have an external keyboard?
Thanks
I am wondering this as well....
There is a keyboard right there at the bottom (1 octave small grey burttons ) also it has a Voltage Controlled 32 Step Sequencer with 64 Sequence Locations inside
Koray Sels thanks man, I didn't see that!
He's using a sequencer to trigger pitch.
Damn that was seriously fantastic
I felt it, thank you.
knows how to work it....! I like.
Fun!
Would be really cool to use the sequencer on the second m32 to trigger the VCO Mod amount!
Beautiful.
Just love it
Wonderful!
This is very good. 🤘
That's more than a demo!
sounds great 👍🏻
Woooow amazign mate
Amazing sound!
Incredible!
Sounds so pretty! Very good job :-)
How can u pitch so correct with just a potentionmeter? Crazy dude
