Thank you 🙏🏻. That prayer was for me. I made some very bad decisions that brought serious consequences financially several months ago. Not just for myself but those close to me as well. I considered suicide as a way out from a deepening vortex of pain, failure, doubt and depression. Despair was overwhelming but, gradually God is bringing me through. I still have dark and challenging days though I find that if I hold onto God’s hand the days gradually get brighter. Thank you for that prayer.

My only question is, why did the song have to end? In all my 76 years Laura is the only singer, who's voice can make me shiver in pure joy, and the cry with more joy after the song ends. Beautiful song, beautiful young woman, beautiful spirit and fantastic role model for other people, both young and old, all in one package. God has certainly blessed us all who have the privilege to enjoy the work and warmth of his beautiful angel.
My husband and I have been together 47 years. The words of this song describe him perfectly. We have weathered a few storms and without him, I doubt I would have come through them. We lost two of our children shortly after their births, and we stood strong together, but he was my rock and still is. This song made me realize how lucky we are to have each other, and how blessed I am to have him.
Condolences for the loss of your children. The love, commitment and strength the two of you have shown through you marriage is wonderful and refreshing to know. My wife and I will be celebrating our 50th anniversary on 11/17/2003.

One enormous benefit of RUclips is that we get to see some really wonderful artists that we simply didn't see previously by more conventional means. The difficulty is however is that there are so many of them that it's impossible to see more than just a few of them. Often you find these artists by accident and Laura is one of those accidents that I am grateful for. A truly stunning singer who also happens to be gorgeous as well. I understand that she is fairly well known in the States but I have never come across her here in Australia.

Laura thank you so much for this song, I came across this few days ago while searching for comforting Christian music. I just lost my oldest sister Feb 1st 2024 to cancer and trying to get through the grief. This song really spoke to me and my Faith will get me through.

Believe me, I know what you`re saying, I faced a hard time, some years ago, I had to take a surgery, that time I didn`t know Laura, and my angels were Amira and Jackie, since, specially last year, Laura is other angel that, without knowing, accompanies me to battle the hard times, that life, from time to time, hits us. Why are there "so few" those who appreciate this art (the sound of music) really of quality and when I refer to quality I see that "need of the human soul", of an ancestral sound, as can be emitted by a "soul " like Laura Bretan's and a suitable verse (as only Laura could choose these wonderful verses for interpretation) to become a WHOLE (soul and body) STRONG that can, us humans, pass through this world, don't be sad , dissatisfied, frustrated, violent, physically sick and how many other shortcomings the "darkness" of this world has "created", but steadfast in contentment, trust (in the CREATOR), kindness, harmony, forgiveness and how many other blessings our ONLY CREATOR has created. Laura Bretan's appearances on the "world stage" brings to the human soul "that SOMETHING" that transforms, that brings the listener closer to his CREATOR. If you just discovered Laura’s 🎤 talent w/ this song, you might really ❤ hearing her sing ‘Adagio’. That was the 1st time I ever heard of her, and it was purely accidental that I did! I was listening to the same song but by Lara Fabian (IIR her name and spelling correctly). I’m not certain which of them ‘owned’ Adagio w/ the original and who did the ‘cover’ (both were 👍 and beautiful though imo!).

But now, no more chemotherapy for him, his body can't tolerate the strong medicines😢, but hoping🙏 that this new treatment that doctors give to him will help. I hadn't heard of Laura before this song showed up in my feed, but I can't stop listening to it. I've listened to several other of her songs now, but I keep coming back to this one. Remarkably, it is a very simple tune with a limited vocal range, which Laura sings with almost no ornamentation. From hearing her other songs, I know she is capable of much more "impressive" vocal feats than she shows here; but she gives this song everything it needs. It's simply beautiful.
This is a very nice song. Sometimes, the storms last a very long time, even years, especially when your kids are no longer with you, but the storms never outlast God's love and faithfulness. God has never failed to pull me through. Yes, my heart hurts, but I will make it because Jesus Christ is faithful
