I do not think Rev.Graham actually meant that Sr.Elizabeth...He probably meant there could have been atheists, Satan worshippers or non-believers who wouldn’t want to be in Heaven! Unless a person believes in John 3:16 and accepts Jesus in their heart are going to Heaven. But at that last moment, maybe many prayed to God. We do not know nor should know.

The circumstances behind this message by Billy Graham are amazing. The FAA had banned all civilian aviation in the United States after the attacks on 9/11. When they put together the service at the National Cathedral, they asked Billy Graham to speak. He readily agreed. However, they had the problem of how to get him to Washington, DC to speak at the Cathedral. On the day of this service, September 13, 2001, the aircraft that flew Billy Graham to Washington was the only aircraft in the skies over the US. America's Pastor!

I remember watching this on the day of his sermon. This country has been blessed to have Billy as long as we did. I miss his sermons so much. Not a saint, a good man but not a saint. Billy Graham was a sinner like all of us, but he did what was needed to be done. He repented of those sins and trusted in Jesus alone, he gave his life to Christ and became a preacher, and then he was called home on Feb. 21, 2018. God bless!

I gave my life to preach the gospel since then. If there was evil, i believed that there had to be good. I still believe that. He’s a godly man. However, I wish our first response to this judgement of God on our country wouldn’t have consisted of a polytheistic conference- the Old Testament is full of judgements on Israel for attempting to honor God WITH other gods simultaneously. Did you notice that when they sang the mighty fortress hymn, they skipped the verse that mentions Christ Jesus as Lord? Too scared to offend anyone. I’m sure billy didn’t make that call but it’s just the kind of conference it was. It’s also disappointing that he mentioned people’s anger towards God over this as “understandable” to God. Kind of ridiculous especially considering the fact that we can’t even seem to understand how God could ever be angry at our nation….we would need a 9/11 attack every other day to keep up with the amount of murders we commit everyday against God’s precious babies in abortion clinics alone…praise God that His judgement that Tuesday was so light. Please pray for my children's abusers to be caught and stopped and prosecuted to the full extent of the law and for my children to be brought home to me safely this year in Jesus's name. Please pray specifically for God to cause the irrevocable uncovering of the TRUTH to uncorrupted authorities.

When so many in a nation turn their backs to the Lord; their backs to his words, love and laws, the Lord God lifts his blessed protection from. It was true 9/11/ 2001 and it is true now. God does not condone Evil; the Lord may yet permit it to remind humanity just how futile life can be without God's blessings. As a reminder to turn back unto him; to repent and get ourselves... everyone of us... to return to how Jesus Christ would have us live. In peace, harmony and love for one another.

He’s a godly man. However, I wish our first response to this judgement of God on our country wouldn’t have consisted of a polytheistic conference- the Old Testament is full of judgements on Israel for attempting to honor God WITH other gods simultaneously. Did you notice that when they sang the mighty fortress hymn, they skipped the verse that mentions Christ Jesus as Lord? Too scared to offend anyone. I’m sure billy didn’t make that call but it’s just the kind of conference it was.
It’s also disappointing that he mentioned people’s anger towards God over this as “understandable” to God. Kind of ridiculous especially considering the fact that we can’t even seem to understand how God could ever be angry at our nation….we would need a 9/11 attack every other day to keep up with the amount of murders we commit everyday against God’s precious babies in abortion clinics alone…praise God that His judgement that Tuesday was so light. He could’ve justly wiped us off the face of the planet a long time ago.
I’m late to the party I’m just starting to notice these things now. We need to repent as a nation and proclaim Christ alone as King. God will judge us again.

I love so much BG and his preaching. But the greatest need today of America it is not hope, it is repentance and to rediscover the fear of God. Away with pornography, divorces, abortions and a doggy doggy Jesus. To walk again in the fear of God and in responsibility for family and in life...THIS WILL SAVE AMERICA FROM HER SELF and GOD WILL SAVE AND BLESS AMERICA AGAIN! I remember a prophetic word "Come back to Me Israel (America) why you want to perish?"
