Did not realize the flasher worked that way. I just thought it was a solenoid driven switch. I used Sea Foam to clear up my surging Generator issue. Works! Thanks Dan!
I know that switch very well. Only time I ever had to figure it out to replace was when I owned a Chevy Van. :) Post Script; Before I learned what was wrong. Had to manually move the turn signal lever up and down.
When I got my 89 Beaver I had lighting problems. Most of mine were solved when I replace the headlight switch (5 pin GM) but there was still some issues so I remembered an old trick I learned years ago; I opened up the hood and tapped on the relays with the back of a screwdriver. That fixed the rest of the problems! lol
I can do a video for that. Some gauges were basically finding the sensor and hooking up 12v supply (on that rat's nest of a fuse panel, need to fix that).
Thanks for the video! Good job resisting the temptation 😁. Nice easy fix - for once 😜 Your wire nest looks like mine 😂. How did you get the vacuum and temperature gauges hooked up?
Great easy how to video Dan. Thanks for sharing. Kent and Tami
Thanks! It beats trying to figure out how I'm blowing up converter/chargers...

Great to meet you on Bruce's chat (especially fellow designers!) Looking forward to following your channel - thanks for sharing!

YES! The typical solution for GM owners for many years! Did that on my Citation and this RV....only took me just over 30 years to figure it out.

We have had some issues with our turn signal, but only on the left. I will pass this on to Richie-poo!!🙃

This is like deja vu all over again....
