I´ve lived in Nyköping basically my whole life but this video made me appreciate the city and open my eyes to it´s beuty. It´s like Im seeeing it for the first time again
After the Capital, Nyköping is my favorite city in Sweden. It's so beautiful, so wonderful, has it's own archipelago, and the whole waterfront area has been developed a few years back with lots of amenities. A perfect mix of cute/quaint, stores, restaurants, pubs, cafe's etc. Also lots of huge new stores/eateries on the outskirts. I've been there in both Summer & Winter. It's a summer paradise and a Winter dream. The most beautiful city at Christmas. Compact city by area which makes it easily walkable and by bike, but also big enough it definitely doesn't feel small. When you're there walking and exploring it feels much bigger than it is. There's no shortage of things to do/see/go, and loads of cafe's, restaurants etc. Also many big events held yearly. Nyköping is not only Södermanlands gem it's the country's gem.
Ja, den var över förväntan! Har bara varit i Nyköping för något möte tidigare, men då missat allt det charmiga! Det fanns mer fint åt båda håll. Tack för titt!
15:54 Wow, I am witnessing for the first time what it feels like to live in the 12th century medieval times. It is like a time machine. If only those walls could talk how it is like back then 😁
@@StockholmWalks On your other video? You got me crying out of laughter 🤣🤣🤣🤣, I was reading your story about the King & the 2 brothers, and suddenly, this wordings came "Oh crap, It's closed!" 🤣🤣🤣
The infrastructure, architecture and parks have been well preserved, there is culture even in such trifles as an unpaved path with rubble, in Russians everything is rolled into concrete or asphalt, and in summer there is an unbearable heat in the middle of the panel areas. Asian fetid dump :) Protect culture in everything, Swedes ;)

It’s a pretty town with rich history- I actually don’t know the area that well though
Besökte Nyköpings hus för många år sedan på väg till Stockholm men gick inte den fina gångvägen längs med ån då. Den var ju också sevärd.

Cool place!
Thank you- yes it was surprisingly idyllic!
Pour avoir fait le même parcours c'est tout simplement reposant et magnifique
merci!
