Hi Malachi. I've watched almost all your videos and I must say, you have the patience of a saint. You seem to be the only one that knows what you are doing and when you tell them what to do they just stare at you like they don't understand, but yet they don't look foreign. Yea, I hope you boss appreciates you. I have worked with alot of people in my life, some good, some bad. I just don't get it, you have to do the job, get to it and get it done and do it right the first time, and its so much easier that way. Keep on truckin'.
Great job, coach and QB all at the same time. I watched the vid with you and Dave yank the truck that took out the tandems and airlines before this one.....while still doling out the sense, you didn't have to go broken record on them....
"I gonna yank it right now WATCH ME" A fraze that separates the boys from the girls! Lol. The wash boy who wanted to wait for"john" needs to take lessons! Great video!
great job as always ,your the only one who knows whats going on,and what needs to be done. you are so so much smarter than your boss johnny. i hope he pays you a lot. he would be very stupid to lose you,the videos show it all.
Could add a piece of thought here Malachi’s in side pulls with the boom. Use your “away” side cable and attach to the foot of your “away” side outrigger to help support the side load on the boom. Not my idea. I watched Ron Pratt use it to help the side load stresses
Hey You need to focus on what your doing and what you can see instead of what you cannot see going on with somebody else recovery...Your winch out recovery's have to take place faster with less Tractor Re Positioning taking place because every time you stop to do a do a Reset you increase your chances of getting even less accomplished don't worry about straight up it's snow covered .friction doesn't apply Now you have to once again STOP to reset.. You have to think ahead you can't be behind your pick's you have to get ahead of them ..
You need eyes in the back of your head and each side of your head, funny the guys were just playing catch up, well you showed some of your great skills off today .
Just confused a little couldn’t your rotator tow the truck back to the shop , did it need the bigger truck cause of its load? Darn good job on your part your head was on a swivel watching your truck the one you we’re pulling your blocking. And then the other littler trk and keeping him straightened out. Again thanks for the video and the time it takes to do it. Bless you and your towing brothers. Across this nation.
Hello Malachi Love watching your video,s I am here in United Kingdom I can see you exert great confidence in your ability to resolve the problem No matter what it might be . My only criticism with your headcam footage is it's very disconcerting because each time you move your head us "watching " loose focus of vehicle moving may I suggest that maybe a camera on tripod focused on vehicle as well as footage from your head cam would make watching even more pleasant please don't be offended by my suggestion Malachi keep up good work and keep on Trucking
I am not easily offended as you guys are the ones that watch my content a suggestion from anyone that watches is perfectly ok with me In fact I prefer them and in a lot of my newer videos I have done what you are suggesting thanks again for watching
it’s not as strong as the boom winch and my boom winches are 50 ft longer it was a far pull i thought about using it because i used it when pulling the red truck to the shoulder he was half as far out as the blue truck
I had to quite watching the video about half way through. You were moving your head too much and too fast doing two pulls at the same time... It was making me dizzy...
just thinking ,being paid to do a job you obviously like and gets the grey matter pumping and you have a talent for. Your a lucky guy. There cant be many who get paid for doing something they love . Man I'm jealous. Take care buddy watch your 6 be safe
First of all for all your camera commenters, the first line of business is getting the job done, video performance/quality is and should be secondary so calm yourselves lol,, Malachi you do a great Job... you have great patients that I can tell you, but the training for your other team mates needs work. I'm sure they all have potential but have no confidence or knowledge of what their doing, you on the other hand have a natural suitability unsurpassed by anyone else I've seen in any of your videos, its like they were all hired just yesterday. I see their blank stares when ever you suggest something and act as if it's a shock and respond very slowly, it's a bit frustrating to watch as the others stand around almost dumbfounded, granted its a hard job and their is a lot too it, but they need to be brought up to speed.
Those aero wheel covers are being hopeful that something might increase fuel economy. Nothing will work when the container is 10 feet back and hitting all the air coming off the cab once again. These truckers think they make more money getting paid more but in the end you're left with not much more than an average dry freight driver.
After watching a few of your video's I must commend you on your knowledge of the industry. You do a great job. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for your crew which at the best of times seem to be a bunch of bungling idiots with very little knowledge of heavy recovery. I hope you are at the very least the owner's son so that at least at some point you'll be rewarded for carrying the ball. I've been in the industry for more than 40 years and I can tell you this much, they would not be running any of my heavy equipment. As stokers, yes while they learned what you seem to already know, but driving one of my units without supervision, no.
thanks a lot I appreciate that I'm glad some can see that about myself I try and do the best I can and I try to teach anyone that is whiling to learn as I am not the owners son I am an employee I am taken care of that's for sure but again I do Stop correcting "appreciate" you kind comment as well as you watching the channel as a vet to the industry I always have nothing but the most upright respect for you guys working with t equipment you guys have operated pretty awesome thanks again for watching
as always great video, your like trent from plaza towing.skilled and awesome at what you do.your helpers suck.what branch of jonnys do you work at.i would love to send an email to jonny, and let him no how awesome you are. i have made so many comments on your channel, hard to find.
Why won’t Jonny employ staff that know what they are doing , Every time you go out with another crew YOU have to tell them what to do ,They havnt got a clue .
why did you pull the truck out by its wheel you should pull it by its chassis thanks to your incompetance you have put major strain on the front axle and caused possible long term damage to the axle allinment
That’s rite they make a sling that goes thru the rim of a Truck to cause damage But if you watch the video the rotator is at a much higher elevation then the truck being pulled out so to avoid further damage to the front bumper I opted to pull the empty truck out but it’s wheel no further damage was done and the customer was satisfied that his truck was recovered from the ditch
The only long term damage is in your brain and it shows with your grammar. That wasn't a very hard pull, it's fine. No, you don't want to be using that method for everything but if the truck isn't mired and it rolls, with that low of a grade, it's fine. Anyone notice there was two different wheels on that axle?
enjoy your channel but a couple of things need fixing. 1-fix the camera, being on your head it moves around so much can't get a fixed idea of what your doing or what's being done, makes me seasick. 2-maybe a quick explanation of what the situation is and what you're going to do about it. 3-a lot less running back and forth. do you have a plan and if so what is it (see #2). like i said like the channel and keep it up.

Steel Fist - Have to second that whole heartedly!! The other guys there don't seem to clear on the concept.

although the tension was high, great job
Dude! you're giving me motion sickness moving your head around in circles. 😩
Sorry worried about to much on this job
Good job

It's cool to a RUclipsr so close to home. Maybe some time i could shot some video for you/with you. Im 3 miles from your shop.
Is it me or this guy sounds like Futurama fry, lololololo.
i think he sounds more like Tom Holland from spiderman
'For some reason it's thicker' I assume because of the splice for the rope? Braided into itself?
Ready, Fire, Aim.

Do you cage all brakes don't you ever use air from your truck to supply air to the truck being tow??
Chris Holbrook some drivers use air some prefer to cage the brakes the red freightliner had the air driers lines ripped off so he had to cage brakes
where do you get these helpers
How do you like working by yourself? You didn't get much help from the others. Nice Job.
Lol I honestly don’t mind working alone less double checking
Have you ever discussed teamwork and staying on the job to get the job done quicker and listening to the leader during your safety meetings????
Ya some just don’t have that great of hearing lol thanks for watching
What a custer of folks that don't know the job or what to do. If I was him I would have lost it with them.
I’m just here for all the professionals in the comment section thatve clearly been towing for SO long their first 2 ton was a Clydesdale

its amazing how cheap we make them
??
Must have been his first job lol
Do you have a stabilize setting on your camera, that fast moving around gives me a headache
Rotator work. My mom hate your work at the tow truck.
Does your company have anyone other than you that are trained for the job they are working at?
Where are you guys located?
So when you onna get a new truck LOL
I thought Malachi was pulling that piv out.

I have posted this before, you seem capable…your help…other tow drivers/operators, helpers…not so much.
I enjoy watching the work but the job culture is tough to see.

Mercer and a can hauler. Too funny. Both of them running for chump change so rushing around like fools.

Ditto
I to could NOT watch the video entirely, got to dizzy from the excessive and rapid head movement
The more of these you watch, the easier it gets.
Malachi how many hours have you got on the tater. How many hours as the Rotator got on it
Ross Charlie about 2 thousand hrs are on the truck

Not much for safety work. They always work in snap zone for towing wire even if they us a remote control
Walkie talkies would be nice instead of yelling to everyone.
Malachi, you need some expierenced help, you are running two wreckers at one time.
Hey can we meet sometime
I’m seasick!
ditch sick
no he needs to get 2way to talk to his worker
Malachi who is all theses widgits that you have to keep telling what to do?
Malachi that was childish
I would have placed the Snatch Block down on the Outrigger to pull low
Why? No danger of rollover so stay high and lift the load a bit for an easier pull.
put your cam corder on a quiet place .. its bad how you swing the helmet camera around !
Bruno Huwyler helps to see what’s he’s seeing a fixed camera in a dynamic setting like working a job is crap

overkill as usual
