Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I recognize the voices. Pretty sure this is Jonathan Young and Caleb Hyles's rock cover of Disney's "Bells of Notre Dame".
Honestly, I'm grieving for Notre Dame as much as everyone else, but now I'm thinking of the ending scene in Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" When Frollo fell into the fire at the steps of the cathedral.
I didn't look at the description at first, and I realized it sounded familiar, then I looked and saw who sang the version that was used, and it made sense. Even in Nightcore form I can recognize Jonathan Young and Caleb Hyles' voices
I was listening to this then remembered the Notre Dame burned down. it's sad that such an iconic piece of Christian and human history for 800 years is gone. I hope they rebuild it. once they do, it will be even more special to me. I will be able to go see what great people have done to make sure history isn't lost. my love goes to anyone who has donated to help rebuild it. also, this nightcore is great.
I'm pretty sure it happened so often that the archdeacon already rehearsed his lines for the next time Frollo kills someone in the middle of a musical number.

2 years old tomorrow but that's beside the point. Date Alive is indeed great. But it could use a bit less censorship. Unfortunately it wouldn't be for all ages anymore though.
Clopin is Quasi's father. He's the "man" in the story. Not Quasi, because in most of that story Quasi was only a baby. Because he feared Frollo, he could never be near his son again. But he stayed close.
That's what I was thinking. Quasi's father was either the male gypsy that was with Quasi and his mother on the night of her murder which would make sense seeing as her first instinct was to move as close to him as she possibly could before he was taken away in chains and she then tried to run knowing she'd likely never see the man alive again. OR Clopin was Quasi's father which would also make perfect sense given just how much he knows about Quasimodo's life story
It's sad what had happened, something beautiful and glorious; I will admit though also.. It actually reminds me of the movie' The hunchback of Notre Dame. I mean no disrespect of what had happened, just felt like it had the same feeling in the movie as it does this song.
but in the book of Victor Hugo Claude Frollo was a simple priest who lost his parents to the plague, inherited the mill (the one that he set on fire in the cartoon), taught and educated his young brother Jean, and also added a hunchback child when the parisians wanted to burn him , because of pity for Jean. and in 1482 he died when he laughed after the hanging of Agnessa when Quasimodo threw down (Esmeralda's real name, which the old nun gave her, after she had a child stolen from her and instead of Agnessa, gypsys threw a Quasimodo. After 2 years, his skeleton and the skeleton of Agnessa were found in hug . I think Hunchback of Notre Dame 1996 is the best cartoon of Disney for all times ; but in my opinion - book of Hugo is better , it have more deep plot .
Could anyone focus a little less on the burned stones of Notre-Dame since it isn't really the most important element in the song, nor is it in the movie ?
This is a better version of the song for the hunch back because the real story of the hunch back is that the hunch back pushes Frollo off the bell tower on purpose than he goes to he Girl, s grave refusing to leave until he eventually starved to death so this would be perfect dramatics for the real story of the hunch back

(ಥ ~ಥ) now they're gone..... Respects to the bells of Notre Dame
It was unfortunate indeed
The bell towers were saved though. They only lost the roof and spire, which is better then Notre Dame de Reims did in WWI
Indeed, only roof, beams and spire were destroyed, neither structure, towers nor statuary, roses or glasspanes were destroyed.
