This is so cool. There are no background customers or distractions either. Since the audio is live, did the owner close the store for a bit so you could record? If so, that's awesome. Some great advertising for the shop, too! :)

Pet peeve: 'antique' stores that sell mostly shabby chic farmhouse aesthetic and not antiques. Still loved you walking around tho. ☺️
Same. I still enjoy walking around these types of stores, because they're very cozy, but I wish they would use a different name.

I’ve been a fan of Maria’s since 2011…so over a decade already. This video is scrumptious. I find I’m not super in to the high production ASMR vids these days. This video feels like accidental ASMR/Old school ASMR and I’m loving it.
Me too!! It’s crazy to see how much she has grown as an artist, and how asmr has really entered the culture. In 2011 it was so niche and everyone in my life thought it was weird/gross when I explained it to them at first!
Same here!! Since 2011 Maria has been triggering my Asmr, I didn't even know what it was until that time. I can't count how many times I've watched her folding towels videos! Lol This one is a Gem too!

Same here, also from 2011! Much has changed, but not in a bad way. I first started listening to the channel TheWhisperingVoice and then stumbled upon Maria. Enjoyed all het old videos. I even remember her video where she talked about her personal live, having lived in Russia and going through tough times. Maria is a bad ass and still one of the best AMSRtist imo ❤️

There’s a video from years ago where she is cooking and that phrase in this video immediately reminded me of that one because she says caramel the exact same way and back then it gave me major tingles!

“Me time” away from my husband and daughter consists of coffee and antique stores(or flea markets or thrift stores because there is always antiques there) so THIS video just made my life.

An ASMR in a public store with bright daylight outside: a random, relaxing tour with a moving camera... totally unexpected but I still got waves of tingles ~~~ well done

Those weird cups with the openings on the sides are sponge bowls. You lay the sponge between the two openings and it can dry more easily 😃 😊

hey Maria, it was actually really nice to hear that you wear a size large/xl. I'm about the same height as you (known from a previous video) and I've always struggled with how large I was as I was already tall for a women. I've always admired you and thought you were beautiful and well proportioned (sorry, that sounds weird lol) and had assumed you were way smaller than me. It's nice to know that we're actually the same size and I can learn to exude beauty and femininity the way you do!
Yeah Maria is really tall! I believe she's about 6 ft even? Anyway, wearing large/XL isn't anything to be ashamed of, these sizes are made for a reason and the reason is that larger people need something to wear lol. My mom wore L and XL for most of her life and she is not at all out of form.
I wear a large or an English size 16. I’m 22 pounds overweight though as I am only 5 feet 5 inches tall. If Maria is tall she’ll need a large given her frame is going to be much bigger and she definitely doesn’t look overweight.
The vlog you did in ellicott city years ago was one of my favs, Love watching you go places and touch all they cool sounding things

Everything inside the store look antique to me like the set up, the shelves, the furniture...
@@karima468 They probably meant nothing looked to be actual antiques. Things can look antique but not actually be antique (ie old). A lot of the items looked either custom or mass produced since there were multiple of each, so they aren't all that old to be considered antiques. At most it was shabby chic, not true antiques sans maybe some of the furniture. Designed old but not actually old.
@@karima468 In the UK, I guess we have a different view of antiques. Antique shops in the UK sell the antique furniture to you. All of the furniture in this shop didn’t seem to be for sale from what I could tell 🤷🏼♀️
@@grimgracious Yes, that’s what I mean! None of these items seem to be antique, maybe some of the furniture is… but I don’t think so also it’s not for sale. As you said, shabby chic at the most!

A lot of antiques stores give space to local artists and crafters to generate more of a buzz to their fabulous stuff than just doing farmers markets and craft fairs

i swear, when you said that the store smelled like cinnamon, it took me back to when my mother would take me to TJMAXX and it would smell the exact same! i know TJMAXX is not an antique store, but some of the items there make it feel like that.

:) Yes, I've just realised that although "antique" generally means anything somewhat valuable that is more than a 100 years old, I am now more than half that old myself, that values have also changed, and so antiques no longer look the way they did when I was young! :) lol
I wish she'd do one in a real antique shop again.

I came to say that I love how Maria just simply talks like an Angel, no effort in it. Like I've seen other ASMRtists that you can tell how they make mouth sounds on purpose, Maria just talks and they come naturally! I love the way she does it, no one does it like Maria, seriously!!! 🌈❤️
