Robles was the number 4 prospect in baseball coming into 2019. Ahead of Kyle Tucker, Soto, and just behind Tatis and Vladdy.
Thats crazy!!! Some guys just get going later....hoping that's the case with Robles!

Hiya J! Nice to listen to an M's game where i could relax a bit. Robles deserves credit for stepping up. Kirby is in a groove. Garver was in line for my wrath, but put together a stellar night at the plate to shut me up. We have a couple of good pitchers coming up next. That's why this game was extra important. Great recap, J! Everyone is in a lighter mood after a much needed victory!
Nice blowout win today. Was much needed. Also love the moves that we made so far 100%! But I’ll say this though we gotta go out there and add at least one more bat.

The only thing that could've made this day better for us M's fans is if the Dodgers beat the Astros. Man we needed a day where we could just enjoy our team, and seems like the team had fun today too which is great to see. I always get roped back in to following this team just when I think I've had enough haha

While winning the division is obviously the primary goal I think the Wild Card Race could be
getting a lot closer pretty soon. Again I want first place but I also think it will be nice to
shake things up in the other divisions too!
The division is just closer right now, thus more likely, but hey a playoff spot is a playoff spot.

Yep Robles was a highly touted prospect ahead of Soto and many others. I want to keep him long term. What's his contract situation?
Getting paid the minimum, free agent at the end of the year. Would love to see him be our Jurickson Profar (but would be happy to just have him as a 4th outfielder lol).
I don't know man. We roughed up a kid who should be pitching in AA and then didn't do anything for the rest of the game. Wish I could be more excited about this one.

I am curious to see who the PTBNL will be in the Arozarena deal. I said I would rather have the Mariners get Arozarena more than some of the other bats that were being bandied about. Garcia adds something to the back end that the Mariners needed so much. Losing Stanek doesn't bother me because Garcia should be a vast improvement. One more quality bat, and they become very successful trade deadline. The only bad news Seattle got was the Dodgers didn't show them any love by beating Houston. Go Dodgers.

Stanek was always hit and miss terrible control and i feel like he faked his injury because he was so bad and that rubbed off on santos
I actually like the trade after flipping Stanek... flipped AAA Ckase For a AA OF Whonisnt really highly rated but his K Rate is like 12% and at 5'10 170 they maybe able to bulk him up to get more power... well see in a couple years... Go M's!!!

Yeah if we would have scored at least 3-4 we would have taken 2/3. We would be sitting in a better spot with these trades.

Mariners hit well against AA pitchers. Same as those blowouts vs. the Angels & Padres. Hopefully Randy can help them keep it up against Fedde & Crochet, but they're both pitching like all-stars this year.
