Real! As I sit here feeling overwhelmed trying to organize bookshelves and get our room ready for the upcoming year, I am encouraged. Deep breaths! We can do this with Gods help.
Sonia you are so lovely! I just love your videos and podcasts. You speak with such wisdom and experience and I love you ideas. Thank you so much for taking the time to create such a wonderful library of videos! I can absolutely say they have influenced and changed my life and homeschool for the better. Thank you!
Wonderful as always! Constantly grateful for your guidance & inspiration! I second the guidance on mom & screens & would love to also hear more guidance on what questions to ask or conversation starting points for connection for the varying age levels ( elementary, middle & highschool). Thanks for all you do! You & SCM are true treasures!!
Our video discussing screen time may be helpful. For older students, it can be helpful to discuss creating with technology vs consuming technology simplycharlottemason.com/blog/screen-time/
Hi Sonia! You mentioned screen time, in my home the kids have very little screen time. However, I am very often glued to my smartphone. It's often worthwhile content, like christian blogs and podcasts. But it's keeping me from giving the children my full attention. Do you have some tips for moms who need to limit their screen time?
The internet can be incredibly beneficial for parents full of worthy information and helpful tips however it is easy to lose track of time and turn our focus away from our children. If that is happening, perhaps we need to ask if the content is still worthwhile. It's a hard resource for many of us to balance. It's important to discuss the importance of personal relationships with each other and we do best when we demonstrate those relationships which is difficult to do when we are tied to a device. comeawayPerhapsTherePerhapsutilize
I love the blackberry hedges quote. Yes. So true. Thank you for your bravery to share truth.
This is 100%. Love your explanation of this. I know God directed us to Charlotte Mason's philosophy for a great reason and purpose 😊
