The realtek-rtl88xxau-dkms is a relatively popular driver that does not support virtual interfaces. Hence you can’t use fluxion properly if you don’t have another one adapter that supports either monitor or ap mode.
@@pro_it_solution virtual interface cards uses two virtual interfaces to do ap and deauth attack. so u basically need an adapter which supports virtual interfaces to run an eviltwin attack using fluxion or airgeddon. howeever, you can use 2 adapters to do the job in fluxion .

Pro-tip :Don't buy this for pentesting , main reasons are 1.Not usable in live environment (cause you will have to install drivers and rebbot) 2.8821au chipset is used and it is not recommended in airmon-ng documentation. 3.doesnt support Virtual interface mode. don't buy the leosys one as well cause they changed the chip and made it worse

@@vscodium1751 well you should consider 5ghz, btw only downside in tplink adapter is that it doesn't support vif, but if you have a internal network card that's not an issue,and parrot os and mx linux support it out of box., its not the best but since we are in india and everything is too costly, tplink is your best bet under 1500 , or if you don't want 5ghz just buy the wn722 something like tht

I have this but isint much supported by Linux as such, this is good for pentesting wep but with WPS(reaver) and some tools for WPA/wpa2 are not supported or has a lot of conflict even with evil twin attack and Armageddon or most of automated script based tools there is kernel / tool version/driver version conflict.
This is because Realtek adapters do not support an in-built Linux MAC80211 driver, but use the CFG80211 driver which lacks many features, including the most important one is a virtual interface which all evil-twin scripts need to work properly. I would stay away from Realtek USB adapters.

Don Mislead sir, I have bought this product and tested already in Kali linux and Parrot Os...No need to install drivers in parrot os and rpi kali linux image(raspberry pi kali linux version) and driver installation needed in virtualbox kali linux image(desktop kali linux) even after that packet injection not working most of the time sometimes it works Here iam talking about for 5hz not stable product..

In my case not at all working not in my PC as well in my laptop always disconnected when i enable monitor mode even though its mode changed to monitor but still no use if its not connected with external wifi adaptor.
iam getting the issue that windows wifi is getting disconnected can you please make another video how to connect it from scrath along with the suitable settings

I'm using the same wifi adapter but it is giving a internet speed of 30-40 mbps while my laptop's integrated adapter is giving 80mbps and also the number of wifi access points shown through this external adapter are more or less similar to the number of wifi access points shown through my laptop's adapter however the strength of the signals is a bit higher through the external adapter
