Great timing Kev. Still waiting for my wheels to arrive but I'll definitely coat them. In my bro's Motegis it made a huge difference in how much brake dust is able to bind to the wheel.
I love the '20 BRZ stock wheels they look nice but all those spokes and stuff make it a pain in the ass to clean. One of the reasons I want to get new wheels like the Enkei TS-5. I don't know too much about wheels it'd be cool to see a video about size, offsets, how to know what will fit on your car without rubbing or modification, what tires work best, which tiers to use if you're going up or down in size, etc. There's so much to learn.
Nice..motivation to clean my dam brz ts bronze wheels this weekend 🤣 its all caked with break dust and rain crap. Can you like put a heater to speed up the curing time 🤔
The ceramic coating should help to prevent some of the brake dust from sticking to the wheels, but you'll still need to clean them routinely to make sure that it doesn't etch into the finish.
It's essentially the same process, but some people recommend doing it after you have the tires mounted so you don't run into the problem of the wheel weights not sticking.

Anything to make cleaning my wheels easier haha

Wheel fitment video is on the list! It's certainly something you want to make sure you get a grasp of before getting a new set of wheels.

That's awesome to hear! Thanks so much for the support!
This is the first video I saw were the inside of the rims are coated, why do the inside?
because that's usually where a lot of build up occurs so coating the entire wheel makes them much easier to clean.

I know the feeling! haha I can't comment on the heater, but I'd think it probably isn't a good idea 😅
Niiice, good job sensei 👍
Thanks 😆
anyone reading this you should use a degreaser of some sort before applying
Quality video
Thanks, Nick!
Question. How useful is it if a brake dust is strong enough to etch into the powder coat?
The ceramic coating should help to prevent some of the brake dust from sticking to the wheels, but you'll still need to clean them routinely to make sure that it doesn't etch into the finish.
Y’all ever have an issue with weights not sticking because it’s coated on the barrel now?
People have had this issue before. It's recommended to have the tires mounted before doing this.
Where do you get the applicator pad?
You can purchase them on the gtechniq website.
How would you do it to brand new wheels in the box ?
It's essentially the same process, but some people recommend doing it after you have the tires mounted so you don't run into the problem of the wheel weights not sticking.
Wheels are brown. Still very dirty...
