OMs mit "Wxxxx" fallen bei mir ebenfalls in 5/7 ein ... lediglich in 6,5m Höhe mit einem *verkürzten* Rotary Dipol für 20m ... habe mit 100watt out auch schon US Stationen gearbeitet. Das liegt auch nicht an *meiner* Antenne - sondern daran, dass diese US-OMs eine "Big Gun" haben. Und immer die "Erdverhältnisse" (Bodenfeuchte, elektrische Leitwert) beachten - hat schon Rothammel in seinem Buch so beschrieben.

Hi, the BABY-LOOP is amazing. Especially in directions with free view - for example from our QTH direction West to the USA, there's is actually not a big difference between to BABY and the MOSLEY. In directions, where the view is not free, there's a big difference; there you can see, that the MOSLEY is really a high performance antenna. For example yesterday I've worked HS0ZEX on 20m on 15.44 UTC with 58 RPRT with the MOSLEY - on the BABY there was nothing at all to hear. Both antennas are great: The BABY is the best choice for limited spaces - the MOSLEY is an absolutely High-Performance antenna. vy 73 de René, HB9NBG

@@LutzElectronicsHB9NBGundHB9FZC WOW, thanks for the superspeed reaction :) The MP-33 has a somewhat longer boom than the TA-33, and as far as I know the only other difference it that it can cope a higher power input. Gain etc is the same. Since I do not have a hf amplifier the TA is more than enough for my needs. Thanks for the tip of hamoffice, I couldn't figure it out in the video. @@LutzElectronicsHB9NBGundHB9FZC Thanks again for your kind reaction and link. The issue here concerns the exact dimensions. I must be sure this antenna will fit on the spot planned for it. I will have to turn the antennea in a specific direction and then I should be able to winch it up in the vicinity of a wall to get it above the roof. So exact dimensions are critical for me, it is a matter of centimeters. On the Mosley website and in their catalogue I find the boom length is 3,66 m, but in the assembly instructions it is given as 5'11" + 7'11", yielding 4,22 m. So I have to find out the exact length of the boom and the distance from the mast clamp to the nearest element to be sure it will fit here. I've sent a mail to Mosley asking to give me those numbers. Lutz-Electronics HB9NBG und HB9FZC Moin René 😊👍🏻ja stimmt fast ,ich sehe das als Fotograf leider auch viel zu oft das Videos und Fotos immer im Hochformat aufgenommen werden aber aus einem Querformat kann man besser Ausschnitte als aus einem Hochformat machen und ich frage immer ob die Leute beim angucken ihren TV auch dann hochkant stellen 🤣 „wieso“ kommt dann immer ... naja den Rest kannst du dir bestimmt denken 😉Aber wirklich eine beachtliche Leistung die Reichweite und natürlich auch der Aufbau👍🏻👍🏻auch schon das deine Frau so dabei ist, ich habe gestern mit meiner Frau zusammen aufgebaut .... heheh... aber nur 11 Meter bin aber dabei die E Lizenz zu machen. Vielleicht hört man sich dann ja mal auf der Welle😉Alles gute 73/55 eine schöne Woche noch 😊(13HN403) Sascha
