Beautiful card! I love the vibrant colors and the contrast of the blue butterflies with the yellow/orange flowers. I preferred the butterflies without the large shadow cast around them, but it is all a matter of preference. It is a stunning card!

I love this card with the masking and coloring. From this card, I was inspired to color a background black on a card I’ve been creating. It has a a lot of color in it and the new black background makes the colors really pop and really dramatic. Thanks, Yana, for the encouragement to get out of my comfort zone and try something new!
I know this is from a year ago, but wanted to say that I also love everything about this card, including the shadows on the butterflies, which add so much dimension. I actually thought they were die cuts because of that, which inspired me to get the matching dies for this butterfly set a few days ago! But now I want to mask with these too. I’ll also echo another commenter who said she buys Copic colors based on what you use, so off I went to Dick Blick yesterday to get the yellows and a couple of the blues you used in this. I already have scads of blues but you made me want even more! I love your style, Yana. Your dark and ink blended backgrounds play into almost every card I make. Thank you!

I LOVE this look Yana! I have recently retired, am digging out my "crap room" and turning it back into a craft room and look forward to getting back into some "fancy" coloring and new techniques -- your dark backgrounds are at the top of my list!
You are so amazing at this. I get frustrated trying to color. How do you "blend" without going back over the color? (I watched a tutorial on coloring and they say dont go back over it the colors smear. ) So how do you blend? This card pops, so vibrant and gorgeous. Tyfs

What tool do you use to pick up gems? It looks like a pen type tool. I have not seen them anywhere.
