Skillet has already announced that Monster was supposed to be a song to represent the dark side and sin of everyone. You could actually think of the album as a story in a way.

Religion can mix with music and be very sucessful, you don't have to interpret it as "christian lyrics" you can interpret it however...but religion and music can mix WITHOUT being in a church.
If you read into Skillet's lyrics a lot of them refer to Christ....for instance...The Last Night, Forgiven, Better Than Drugs, Collide.......need I go on? so don't you dare say Skillet abuses the term of "Christian Band"

ummm....to this day, JESUS CHRIST is the most famous name of all time....duh. i can almost bet millions of people dont know who skillet is, but EVERY WOMAN MAN BOY AND GIRL knows the name of JESUS.....sounds pretty famous to me.
