I appreciate your integrity, Jimmy. Something that wasn't mentioned is this avatar gear is specifically designed to exploit people with anxiety and compulsive disorders. Frankly, Battle Hub is a fantastic idea that was executed badly from a monetisation and immersion point of view. It's like the dev is using 30% of Battle Hub's potential, meaning they are leaving lots of money on the table. Also, I'm surprised we don't have any side-expansion adventure packs in Pro Tour that provide a FINAL FIGHT/SPIIKEOUT game adventure with proper final bosses from Final Fight and other exciting games you can play in Co-op-style mode. I'm also surprised the dev didn't think to provide a QUEST MODE battle like Virtua Fighter 4 & 5 where you can travel the world to find real players and bots in various arcades to fight with your main SF character instead of your avatar. If they implemented such Pro Tour expansions I would happily pay $45 for the DLC without thinking about it. One last thing is I'm surprised they are not abusing the "Rent a Character" element by making Tutles and SpyxFamily actual selectable playable characters that you can play in the core game for a certain length of time by renting them using the Rental Character Tokens. That means if you ran out of tokens, you got to go either grind in Pro Tour or Battle Hub or spend hard and soft currency to acquire them. As the new characters are time-limited, they will only be playable in all forms of the game until the end of the promotion. Yes, that would be a tease but it would be smart to do this to keep the game refreshing and make people beg for more opportunities like this involving other characters and getting more involved in Pro Tour. My shock of not even getting the outfit 3, outfit 2s (granted you can earn them in game) or even the alternate pallets for $105 usd is a huge disappointment for me. Now I do love the game but this is just unacceptable.

I LOVE SF6, the Details, the love in the animations (looking at you Tekken...), the graphics, the mechanics (yes, I actually like DR and DI) etc. When I saw SF6, I fell in love instantly. And I refunded my normal SF6 Edition just mere months before release to buy the Ultimate Edition. Even IF we got all Costume 2 and 3 in it, I wouldn't even need them, because I am a 100% only Juri main. To this day, 300+ Hours in, I have not touched any other Character (except maybe in the Lab to record certain situations) and I have a 00:00 on each and any one of them except Juri. So I actually only need Outfits for Juri, and I am too much of a sucker for her to not buy them if they release any. But looking beside my sheer luck that I am one of the very few people that actively only plays one Char, it's a fucking mess. 24€ for an Avatar Skin!? AN AVATAR SKIN!?! (I didn't check, but I am VERY sure that there is a Modded Yor Skin for Chun-Li already, and probably Juri because they used her fighting Style for the Promovideo) No relevant patches whatsoever for more than 6 Months, no new Information for Ed and we are midway through January. The scummy way to buy tickets, the outrageous pricing for new Skins... And it gets even sadder if you look at the Modding Community. Sure, you have the obligatory Nude Skins and "make my Char fat" skins, but there are some VERY good ones. And it gets EVEN sadder, because your opponent can actually turn off, or better, decide which Skin is shown to him. So actually, buying skins is the exact same as using mods, because your opponent also doesn't see Modded Skins, except he also uses this exact mod. It's a mess. I can not understand how Capcom can sit there and drop the Ball with their audience, who were absolutely willing to throw money at them for stuff they don't need, like skins for characters they will never really use. Their thought process was litterally "Ok guys, the release was a 100% Succsess! And now.....NOW we scam the shit out of our players :)!" Just look at something like Larian, the Company behind Baldurs Gate 3. People THROWING Money at them and want even more stuff to justify throwing money at them. Their audience is begging for any kind of DLC. Just go and read the comments on Steam for the one and only "DLC" you can buy for BG3. It's only cosmetics that have almost no use for the game at all, and people just bought it so they could spend some more money on Larian. You can easily sink more than 80 Hours into one! run, and I assure you, you won't have seen everything you could have potentially seen. I am in my second play through right now, and I am amazed HOW much I missed in my first run...210 Hours in btw. and I am still not through with my second run, I actually have very much to do to end it. I bought the game 3! times with the extra €10 DLC. Once for myself and two times for two friends of mine. I even told them, play it or not, I don't care. I just wanted to give Larian more Money for probably one of the best games in the last century.
i didn't remember buying the game to spend money on trash avatar stuff i just want to play online matches and i wish if they focus on characters and things related to them..
In my opinion what a lot of these collaborations are missing is interactivity. It is kinda cool that you get some themeing around the hub, but what a lot of games such as overwatch have done is have a “free” unlock questline where you do some arbitrary things and unlock themed items and color palettes. It would be so much more interesting if during the event a character npc would spawn in the hub with a custom dialogue and move set (like Gief as Baki) and you could fight them to earn rewards. They already do this in world tour and feels like obvious to me
Your dumbass shoulda known that Akuma is now permanent DLC for any and new fighting game out there. Once Capcom made people pay for Akuma as DLC in SFV it was over. Akuma will NEVER be on the base roster, ever again!
It’s like companies in general either do a shitty job on the base game like Cyberpunk 2077 and work overtime with updates / DLC so the game can finally be good. Or release an awesome base game like SF6 and then use that as an excuse to do a shitty job with updates / DLC. If people said “No Fk off Capcom” and didn’t buy the crap DLC so far they would be forced to get their shit together and do better but sadly a lot of people don’t have self control when they’re being made desperate for content.
Love how I can enjoy both your gameplay and your discussions. I wish I could resubscribe. Keep it up Jimmy!! Edit: 28:28 😂😂 As a business man I can applaud capcom for their strategy. As a consumer, nah man.
Outfits 2 are for buying all of them, and outfits 3 are for buying one or two maximum. With the outfits 2, Capcom are Beting on our previous games nostalgy and our frustration with the new design. The idea would be to give the feeling that, "oh ! I wanna play with/against the classic costume of the classic characters". Like a good old Street Fighter II like match up with classic ryu and ken or honda or whatever the player have good memories with. If you hate the new design of the old characters, you'd be very likely to purchase all of the classic characters since you'd find it not that expensive to pay 50FC each. So their strategy is in my opinion to get people to buy all of them, or at least a lot, and not only 1 or 2 costume for your main characters. Outfits 3 are more expensive because they only expect you to buy one or two for the characters you're getting bored playing, your main characters basically. That is why they don't have a bundle of outfits 2, they want u to spend like 250-300 Fighting coins for all the outfits you want. Their business plan is mostly to get u to pay 1 or 2 skin in outfits 3, or several skins in outfits 2. They want players to spend 6-12$ in skins. They know no one will pay 6$ for a character they play 30 minutes in their whole life. But only 50FC, why not right ? Capcom is only playing in their player's frustration, that is how that work to get us to pay.
The people that are complaining about the Avatar's DLC and Outfits prices just need to "touch grass" as some say and stop complaining. You need to understand that at the end of the day, Capcom is just a business and they are doing what they are doing to get more revenue. I'm not pro or against these practices, I just see them for what they are. Is up to the consumer, yes, we are the consumer, not a fan, not their sons, not their family, a consumer, and as such, we need to see the product for what it is. If you think that the price that they are displaying is worth it, then you can decide to purchase it, if it's not worth it, you can skip it, as simple as that. The prices are what they are, and is up to you if you want to skip them. It's your choice. In my case, I'm an Iron Rank player (as if that matters), and I've been enjoying World Tour since day 1, and I haven't bought any of the collab outfits (TMNT, Samurai, etc) since to me, the price is not worth the price of admission, but other people thought the opposite and bought them so in the end, it was their choice. Do I condone their purchase? idc at all, it was their choice. Everyone that has purchased a video game at least in the past 15 years should be aware & understand that they might include MTX in one way or the other. Do I agree with this practice? Well, we are not in 1984-2002, so idc at all because I can choose to buy that game or not, as easy as that. There's no point in buying a game, and then you start complaining when you see that the MTX prices are not of your liking. All this complaining is just ridiculous. Some people that bought the Street Fighter 6 Ultimate Edition didn't even read & UNDERSTOOD what they were purchasing (reading comprehension is declining worldwide, too much Tik-Tok I guess). Who's fault it is? Not Capcom's for sure. They stated that Outfit 3 WAS ONLY FOR THE DLC CHARACTERS, and not for the 18 Base characters. When I made the decision to buy this version, I thought that most likely Outfit 3 and the extra stages will be released when all 4 DLCs characters are released. Did a took a chance? yes, and it was my decision. Capcom didn't scam me (or not yet I think). Why? because I understood what I was purchasing. Now, I'm not defending Capcom (even though it might seem like it). I just see things for what they are. This company is a business, and we are not entitled to get anything extra, and their prices do not need to match our expectations. We can hope for a costume that cost $0.01 USD, but at the end, is up to the company that is selling you the napkin to set the price. It's your choice if you decide to buy it or not. You don't need to be a sheep and buy every single Avatar outfit, every Outfit 2 or 3, or Colors 3-10 just because they are selling them. If you want to buy them, do it and don't complain because it was your choice to do so. That FOMO nonsense is just for weak-minded people. Take accountability of your actions. Either buy them or don't buy them and be done with it. Enjoy the game for what it is. If they add more things, cool. If the price for those things to you is worth it, then buy them, if not, skip them. They are just pixels and are not "real" at the end. There's no "real fan" or "real Street Fighter player", that's BS. Everyone that bought the game and played the game for 1 second is a Street Fighter player since they bought Street Fighter 6, which is a Street fighter game so forget about that elitist non-sense mentality. But but, they are not "real fans", so what? The money of a non-fan and a fan is worth the same to Capcom so throw that BS away. At the end, if anyone is not ok with the current pricing, they can wait 6 more years to get the "complete package" a la SFVCE or whatever edition they choose to throw at the customer by that time so stop complaining. Why Umbrella Corps, a game relased by Capcom was a "bomb" and didn't sold that well. Well, people saw the product and decided to not buy it, even when it went on sale. Heck, even "fans" of the Resident Evil franchise decided to skip it, but why? You are a "mindless fan" or a "real fan" of Resident Evil so you need to buy it. Of course not, you saw the product, it was inferior in quality and decided not to purchase it. See, you can do the same with the SF6's DLC content. Be it Avatar outfits, Colors, Outfits for the characters, etc. See what some in the automobile industry are doing with their premium cars. They are selling you an A/C option as DLC and people are buying, so again, in the end, is up to the consumer, NOT A FAN, the consumer to decide. That "...but I'm a fan" mentality needs to stop, otherwise ask the Star Wars fans what they think of the current products that are being sold to them. Great video as always Jimmy, best regards.
I'm not sure how far you watched my video but I address a lot of your points and I agree with them for the most part. At the end of the day it's the consumers fault because we reward this greedy behavior by buying the content. BUT: 1. Anyone who purchased the ultimate edition should expect to get the content they are buying in a timely manner which is NOT the case. Outfit 3 for the DLC characters and the 2 stages are apparently released after Akuma drops so that'll be about 1 year after the release. This is not acceptable and should have been communicated. 2. As I said in my video I don't care about the Avatar stuff or pricing of it but it's clear Capcom is prioritizing content for Battle Hub/World Tour which leaves the core audience with almost nothing to look forward to.
As a person who ENJOY Avatar Stuff, my honest react with this last Collab: 1) Way too happy about the costumes are actually Free (Yay, tickets) 2) More? Music could be cool, a wallpaper for the phone (the avatar menu), MAYBE a "Here comes a new challenger" image? 3) Actual things with MONEY? Maybe... Chun Li or Juri dress as Yor (i guess?) and.. Ryu or Jamie (Idk) dress as Loyd? Some of my friends NEVER go into the BH and im like "you claim the Spy Family Costume?" They: Claim? Me: Yeah it's free, well, tickets They: OH, ITS FREE? Okey give me a minute At least they stay in the BH the rest of the day
Haven't gotten that far into the video yet. But i havent really been into buying skins for my avatar. I sorta just ignored that whole part and just used what's on World Tour for my avatar. And for the outfit for characters, I only got two outfit 3s, for Gief and Ryu. Other than that, i dont even bother with buying much.
your explanation of the costumes in the SF6 store is pretty much what i had in mind too. nice analysis bro. Still its pretty shocking the % increase compared to 2014
I bought base game and was going to buy the upgrade pack and could not find information on the extra stages or outfit 3. I’m not a fan of preordering games and same goes for unreleased content so didn’t buy.
Excellent analysis. Especially the Fighting pass thing, the teasing of stuff you could play but can't, makes me appreciate the game way less than it deserves.
Spite begats spite. I want some of those costumes but I won't pay out of principle. The fact that I cant just buy 300 fight coins to get a costume is predatory and disgusting.
Well, like Capcom said on their Twitter page, all the good stuff of SF6 Ultimate Edition and such only will come after Akuma release since Akuma is the final DLC, also the 2 stages 😅 But imagine spending so much money on SF6 Ultimate Edition and only to get all the rewards almost 10 months later 😓 This is so bad move from Capcom indeed
The ONLY way I think this will be viable is if in the future the avatar outfits can be used in vs mode/online for the actual characters. But..I doubt that will happen.
I feel that Capcom has had all their DLC meticulously planned this year. The DLC characters have been coming out 2-3 months, The main costumes came out exactly 6 months from release and the avatar dlc has been monthly. From the leaks in 2020 They planned on calling SF6 to Super Street Fighter 6 in 2024. I have a feeling once Akuma comes out is when Street fighter 6 will be getting a lot more than usual.
Almost another topic, the ”jukebox” mode was the biggest cap the devs told us before the games launch. Made us actually believe we could play our favourite songs from the franchise
In January 2024 my friends and I are still playing the game with costume 1 color 1-2 cause we all bought the ultimate pass and we not gonna waste additional money. Kinda sad, ain't gonna lie
If only there was a way to not partake in the DLC and keep playing the game. I really wish there was a way where the players could dictate whether or not their pricing and strategy is successful or not.
I mention this in my video as well but Capcom is depriving players of content so it actually gets more difficult to resist the temptation lol Capcom has effectively sacrificed their core audience for profit made through more casual players.
@@mdz_jimmy Yea, my sarcastic statement is one of agreement aimed at publishers with what you said. Its a touchy subject for me, because kids are groomed to it from a young age. My daughter constantly spam requests to me (parental thing set up in her iPad), for these fckn “scam games” where you het the game free, but now you have to “buy this house” “buy this wardrobe” “buy your paid for pet a fancy hat” … all of which being $5 and up.
What do you mean there's no content? Lol what? This game is pretty stacked with stuff to do! It's pretty clear the problem with the "lack of content to play" is just you not having any interest in certain aspects of the game!
@@DANCERcow Its the modern expectation that Jimmy’s referring to ( correct me if I’m mistaken Jimmy). I’m an old bastard, so not having cute hats in my battlepass or the like os fine by me, I like the content there is… but the younger audience expects all sorts of shit after release of most games
Like somebody in chat said at around halfway thru the video, its very similar to ea pricing. Ill even take it a step further and argue that its even closer to a gatcha pricing or konami yugioh pricing
I've said it many times, costumes should not cost more than $2 each, times 18 characters is $36, or a $30 bundle. If single, individual modders can create a costume in like 1-2 weeks, then a billion dollar company can make one faster than that. This is preying on free to play kids who already have their mindset programmed through games like Fortnite, Apex, and League of Legends that $20 costumes is ok. It is absolutely not. I haven't bought a single DLC for this game, other than what comes with the Ultimate Edition, and I won't ever. Not until they reduce the price to a realistic level. It's only a matter of time before they go the route of Star Citizen, charging literally $48,000 for a DLC ship.
When I bought SF6 I got the standard edition and decided, I won't get any DLC until the "complete edition" comes out so I can get it all for a reasonable price....a decision capcom is doing a good job of making me stick with
ngl boys, i bought outf 3 when it first deopped for my characters i play, buttttt jimmy made me reflect on my actions so i will no longer support capcom the way they want me to, i will freeload as much as possible like that cool hippy friend you got
personally, i bought the game day one and im still at chapter 1 of the shitty story mode thing, i went to battle hub twice and left…and all of the dlc outfits are not worth the price except maybe dee jays and giefs…gaming is so bad nowadays, i know its early but sf4 had a gazillion outfits then sf5 had less and i expect sf6 to have even less….er
The post release content has been extremally disappointing. I'm one of the suckers that bought the Ultimate Edition and I've never felt so scammed by a big gaming studio. We wait a full year for balance patch, got 2 characters, 1 new set of skins, and battlehub stuff. It almost feels like a complete reversal to how the game was being advertised by the devs before release. It's pretty much radio silence and feels like they are running on a skeleton crew right now. I have high hopes for the future of SF6, but the current path makes me think it will take 5 years to get there.
Being excited about supporting the game, I bought $10 worth of fight coins. Once I dug deeper and was so disappointed with the offerings at outrageous pricing, I blew it all down to the last coin on crap I didn’t even really care about. That was the first and last time I will spend an extra penny on this game. BTW have I mentioned that the OST sucks?
The avatar idea is dumb af,I'm very surprised nobody hadn't come to Capcom and literally tell them front of the CEO face and say "this shit is dumb" 😒🍵.....
Capcom sees that this game is going to be around for many years. They need something to offset the Capcom cup, and associated tournaments. I predict that contestants next year will double.Capcom needs to incentivize competitive play by offering more $ and tournaments to grow the market. SF6 is probably around 3 million copies sold right now. That could be 5 million by next years CC, and a LOT more competitive players looking to compete.
@@mdz_jimmy Agree, I think people like me paid for vanilla and buy the game "again" with Champion Edition / Ultra to unlock everything, it sound like a new player buy the game, but it is not the case.
If the money I spent for this unbalanced game is going towards these pro eports goons I want my God dam money back. I do not support that trash scene and I do not like the people associated with it. This is the very reason why esports is cancer for gaming and how eports is in fact killing gaming. If the gamers want money, get a real job and contribute something to society.
if they made character costumes they would literally make more money, like what is even the reason to not make more character costumes? also where the fuck is the ED trailer
Ive been burned by capcom before years ago with monster hunter delux edition. Thats why i never pre order anything or get any special edition games. Its never worth it
I'm totally against theses dlc stuff but let them pigeon been ripped off. Real players (who cares mostly about the fighting part) don't give a damn about this. This only content I care about is new playable characters (i don't even care about extra costumes or colors).
You competitives are absolute bums. Can't work a real job so you take the money casuals spend for your little boyfriend club. The very definition of losers. All of you.
I mod the game to break the monotony. Capcom is such a scummy company they're coming for mods too lol. Hope it crash and burn and get back to Crapcom status again.
Spy x family collaboration is lame AF why they can't stick with there characters and collab with final fight, power stone, king of fighter and etc 😒🍵.....
Avatar garbage. Nobody smart is fucking with that. Only actual character shit. I haven't used the Battlehub since like the first week of the game. 🤷🏼♂️
I was too busy playing the game when I can enjoying to cry about DLC. Avatars and the attention they're getting is because Capcom is milking the casuals while they can, the avatar sales will drop eventually and then you'll see all the Classic DLC crap such as stages, music, classic skins, etc.
I need some new characters. I'd be extremely angry right now if I had bought this game Day 1 and had only seen 2 new characters added in 7 months or more.
It really isn't, at most you are spending $400 for everything? Maybe less, the free to play fortnite to aquire everything is spending up to $19,500 which most will not spend that much for! This applies here too, not many will spend $400 on Street Fighter 6. IDK, I think this whole content and dlc price discussion is being way too blown out of proportion by the community.

I bought the game 3! times with the extra €10 DLC. Once for myself and two times for two friends of mine. I even told them, play it or not, I don't care. I just wanted to give Larian more Money for probably one of the best games in the last century.
Hey alright
If the only reason you buy skins is so other people are forced to see them then you need to reevaluate your life.
Honestly this was a great summary of this whole debacle. Classic Jimmy W
i didn't remember buying the game to spend money on trash avatar stuff i just want to play online matches and i wish if they focus on characters and things related to them..
It's funny I am being told by some mortal Kombat fans saying all this ok in sf6 Because they think the game is more complete than mk1
They already do this in world tour and feels like obvious to me
I just want Akuma. My dumb ass thought they already had him in the roster when I got him day one.
Your dumbass shoulda known that Akuma is now permanent DLC for any and new fighting game out there.
Once Capcom made people pay for Akuma as DLC in SFV it was over.
Akuma will NEVER be on the base roster, ever again!
Console players : "We only get 3 total outfits for nearly each character"
PC players : "The modders never fail us"
Ironically ppl would like the avatar stuff more if it has it's own ranked and offline versus
The FC is the most insidious thing makes you overpay for the things you want.
Love how I can enjoy both your gameplay and your discussions. I wish I could resubscribe. Keep it up Jimmy!!
Edit: 28:28 😂😂
As a business man I can applaud capcom for their strategy.
BUT:
@@mdz_jimmy I watched the whole video and it was great as always Jimmy. Excellent content, best regards.
As a person who ENJOY Avatar Stuff, my honest react with this last Collab:
1) Way too happy about the costumes are actually Free (Yay, tickets)
2) More? Music could be cool, a wallpaper for the phone (the avatar menu), MAYBE a "Here comes a new challenger" image?
3) Actual things with MONEY? Maybe... Chun Li or Juri dress as Yor (i guess?) and.. Ryu or Jamie (Idk) dress as Loyd?
Some of my friends NEVER go into the BH and im like "you claim the Spy Family Costume?"
They: Claim?
Me: Yeah it's free, well, tickets
They: OH, ITS FREE? Okey give me a minute
At least they stay in the BH the rest of the day
I didn’t know Cammy was your primary main, do you use her often for ranked? All I’ve seen is Ryu
It was a joke. I just bought the costume because I'm too horny to resist Cammy 🤣
@@mdz_jimmy based and blondepilled
Haven't gotten that far into the video yet. But i havent really been into buying skins for my avatar. I sorta just ignored that whole part and just used what's on World Tour for my avatar.
And for the outfit for characters, I only got two outfit 3s, for Gief and Ryu. Other than that, i dont even bother with buying much.
your explanation of the costumes in the SF6 store is pretty much what i had in mind too. nice analysis bro. Still its pretty shocking the % increase compared to 2014
lol they tweeted out that you’ll get the outfit 3 and colors for 4 additional characters after Akuma is released.
I bought base game and was going to buy the upgrade pack and could not find information on the extra stages or outfit 3. I’m not a fan of preordering games and same goes for unreleased content so didn’t buy.
hope this vid gets alot of traction cuz even in sf5 we had atleast good costumes at a reasonable price and lots of dlc
I'm still waiting for the cracked version so I have all the costumes and colors unlocked, but it's taking a while xd.
Well, like Capcom said on their Twitter page, all the good stuff of SF6 Ultimate Edition and such only will come after Akuma release since Akuma is the final DLC, also the 2 stages 😅
But imagine spending so much money on SF6 Ultimate Edition and only to get all the rewards almost 10 months later 😓
This is so bad move from Capcom indeed
The ONLY way I think this will be viable is if in the future the avatar outfits can be used in vs mode/online for the actual characters. But..I doubt that will happen.
I feel that Capcom has had all their DLC meticulously planned this year. The DLC characters have been coming out 2-3 months, The main costumes came out exactly 6 months from release and the avatar dlc has been monthly. From the leaks in 2020 They planned on calling SF6 to Super Street Fighter 6 in 2024. I have a feeling once Akuma comes out is when Street fighter 6 will be getting a lot more than usual.
10:15 was this a joke I’ve never seen you play cammy but costume is purchased
Yeah it was a joke! 😅
The fighter coin thing is the scummiest thing ever. Unfortunatly this strategy is in almost every game
I mention this in my video as well but Capcom is depriving players of content so it actually gets more difficult to resist the temptation lol
Capcom has effectively sacrificed their core audience for profit made through more casual players.
True problem is at tournament, there’s only 2 colors for most of the cast….
Only thing that I'd actually spend the money on are characters I want to play with. Costumes, outfits, that's all meaningless to me.
When I bought SF6 I got the standard edition and decided, I won't get any DLC until the "complete edition" comes out so I can get it all for a reasonable price....a decision capcom is doing a good job of making me stick with
how can they justify a DLC skin being more money then a brand new game? hopefully capcom doesn't pull this crap with dragons dogma 2.
One costume for regular play one costume for battle hub
ngl boys, i bought outf 3 when it first deopped for my characters i play, buttttt jimmy made me reflect on my actions so i will no longer support capcom the way they want me to, i will freeload as much as possible like that cool hippy friend you got
Yup i only care about world tour and thats it
I could care less about vs 😂
So please capcom we need more world tour content more gear and outfits
personally, i bought the game day one and im still at chapter 1 of the shitty story mode thing, i went to battle hub twice and left…and all of the dlc outfits are not worth the price except maybe dee jays and giefs…gaming is so bad nowadays, i know its early but sf4 had a gazillion outfits then sf5 had less and i expect sf6 to have even less….er
Capcom always made things expensive. Always... In MH for example, years ago the extra stuff like skins...dude...
Can’t agree more as I also bought the ultimate version and this is not OK.
World Tour is the content, the sf6 fighters themselves might just be premium stuff overall
I was big on dlc for sf4 and sf5 but this is ridiculous. Can’t support sf6 dlc im sry.
Dammit, Capcom; don't tarnish such a wonderful game with shitty monetization practices. 😢
I only care for Sagat, I'm a loyalist. Zero cents from me. 😏
The avatar idea is dumb af,I'm very surprised nobody hadn't come to Capcom and literally tell them front of the CEO face and say "this shit is dumb" 😒🍵.....
just the thumbnail alone gave me a good laugh
Capcom sees that this game is going to be around for many years. They need something to offset the Capcom cup, and associated tournaments. I predict that contestants next year will double.Capcom needs to incentivize competitive play by offering more $ and tournaments to grow the market. SF6 is probably around 3 million copies sold right now. That could be 5 million by next years CC, and a LOT more competitive players looking to compete.
That's usually not really how it works out though. Playerbase usually does not increase like that significantly over the years.
@@mdz_jimmy Agree, I think people like me paid for vanilla and buy the game "again" with Champion Edition / Ultra to unlock everything, it sound like a new player buy the game, but it is not the case.
This was the same case for 4, most bought all three iterations respectively when they came out.
sf6 will be a game people go back to like mvc2, sf3 or cvs2😂
If the money I spent for this unbalanced game is going towards these pro eports goons I want my God dam money back. I do not support that trash scene and I do not like the people associated with it. This is the very reason why esports is cancer for gaming and how eports is in fact killing gaming. If the gamers want money, get a real job and contribute something to society.
if they made character costumes they would literally make more money, like what is even the reason to not make more character costumes? also where the fuck is the ED trailer
Ive been burned by capcom before years ago with monster hunter delux edition. Thats why i never pre order anything or get any special edition games. Its never worth it
SF6 is fine just DLC is awful
yup
Love the style of video!
I'm totally against theses dlc stuff but let them pigeon been ripped off. Real players (who cares mostly about the fighting part) don't give a damn about this. This only content I care about is new playable characters (i don't even care about extra costumes or colors).
preach jim jams
casual players are basically subsidizing the game for us competitives
You competitives are absolute bums. Can't work a real job so you take the money casuals spend for your little boyfriend club. The very definition of losers. All of you.
I mod the game to break the monotony. Capcom is such a scummy company they're coming for mods too lol. Hope it crash and burn and get back to Crapcom status again.
Spy x family collaboration is lame AF why they can't stick with there characters and collab with final fight, power stone, king of fighter and etc 😒🍵.....
can't agree more
Avatar garbage. Nobody smart is fucking with that. Only actual character shit. I haven't used the Battlehub since like the first week of the game. 🤷🏼♂️
It still bothered me that the DLC characters didn’t get a 3rd costume. Why is Capcom holding back?
I was too busy playing the game when I can enjoying to cry about DLC.
Avatars and the attention they're getting is because Capcom is milking the casuals while they can, the avatar sales will drop eventually and then you'll see all the Classic DLC crap such as stages, music, classic skins, etc.
Boicot ALL DLC content even characters
They need to learn and the consumer also
No one gives a fk about the avatar stuff and battle hub it’s that 1% that just hang around in battle hub all day no offense. 😂
Agreed. It sucks that they’re catering to that minority just so they can bleed them dry of money.
I need some new characters. I'd be extremely angry right now if I had bought this game Day 1 and had only seen 2 new characters added in 7 months or more.
i'm so happy i can live out my trans fantasies in sf6
It really isn't, at most you are spending $400 for everything? Maybe less, the free to play fortnite to aquire everything is spending up to $19,500 which most will not spend that much for! This applies here too, not many will spend $400 on Street Fighter 6. IDK, I think this whole content and dlc price discussion is being way too blown out of proportion by the community.
Spund like broke problems
