Hi Steve and Ally,thanks for showing us around Canberra and Cowra.I found the history behind the Cowra breakout really interesting and sad at the same time.I visited Canberra on a school trip many years ago and toured the old Parliament House long before the new Parliament building was built.It may be time to visit Canberra again I think.Safe travels as always.👍

Most of the Japanese prisoners were living and working in Australia. They were rounded up for the duration of the war.
