    10:10 2~3 hours trip from Bangkok to Samet, including the ferry time? I made that trip in 2017, and I remember it took much much longer (I hired a car from Bangkok to the pier).

    Thank you so much for this video, visiting Thailand in 2 days 😁 and I was wondering where to go and this video showed up❤ May I ask what's the name of the islands from island tour in Koh Samet? Also, how many days you recommend we should stay in Koh Samet?

    • @jadeandjason.
      @jadeandjason.  10 месяцев назад +1

      We are glad this video helped you with your decision 😁😁 Sadly we can't remember the name of the boat tour cause we got it on the beach but don't worry because there are many boat tour options along the beach. We would recommend about 3 to 4 days on Koh Samet because it is a small island and you will see all of it in about a day😅 Good luck with your travels and stay safe🥰

    Couple of things, you have the order just perfectly reversed, Koh Kut being n°1 probably top 5 of all of thailand, and the closest Island to Bangkok is Koh Sichang off Si Racha

    • @jadeandjason.
      @jadeandjason.  10 месяцев назад +1

      We listed the islands from the furthest to the closest and Koh Si Chang didn't make the top 5

    good informative video.. can you tell me if they allow you to fly drones inside National Parks ? How hard is it to get a permit ? Thanks

    • @jadeandjason.

      Sadly you're not allowed to fly drones in National parks. To get a drone license you will have to register on the NBTC website.

    Sorry but..... Koh Samet definitely Number 1. Hands down Number 1. Koh Larn the nearest to Bangkok but I'd put that at number 3 with Koh Chang number 2. For info - if you wanted to combine Samet with Koh Chang, it's possible to get a minibus transfer down to Trat.

    • @jadeandjason.
      @jadeandjason.  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your input but as we said we listed the islands on distance not best to worse because every island has its beauty and depending on what you want will make it the first hence why we didn't list it like that.

    Technically, Koh Samet and Koh Larn are best gateways near Bangkok... but i agree the first 3 islands are beautiful... i've been to Koh Chang and i enjoyed every seconds there... i even prefer going there (Koh Chang) over Phuket to be honest... cause it's more chilled vibes.. a lot of tourists but not Chaotic and way cheaper than the more commercial island (Phuket) never been yet to Koh Samet nor Koh Larn.. planning soon to visit Koh Larn, so what you guys recommend what's the best beach over there ?.. by the way, nice video guys 🙌

    • @jadeandjason.
      @jadeandjason.  Год назад +1

      We 💯% agree Koh Chang has such chilled vibes. As for for Koh Larn most of the beaches are nice but we preferred Italay Sang Man Strand because it's close to everything and it's just a short walk to the big main beach. If you want something more peaceful Ta Yai Beach has no boats and one restaurant to eat food.
