Side story: WHen someone said "Jihoon's been thru a lot" he indeed did. Jihoon was supposed to debut in another boy group but he chose audition for YG again. Very important note for me in this episode: 1. Doyoung being the most YOLO and fearless on this episode. He also know how to have fun amidst the chaos even until now. Im glad he has that kind of mentality 2. Jihoon, Yedam, Doyoung, Millenium (the lyricist and composer of Slow Motion and many other tracks), Seunghun, Midam, Hyunsuk (?) etc are part of Silver Boys (the original line up of Team A and the group that competed with Stray Kids in their survival shows, YG vs JYP eps). Hence, Yedam, Jihoon, Doyoung and Hyunsuk seems to have closer relationship at the beginning among the other members since they are trained longer. 3. The birth of Hajeongwoo and Mashikyu units. This units are the strongest pairing in Treasure since then, imo. Thus, the Hajeongwoo cover (Stack it Up) is one of the most viewed cover in their youtube channel. I hope they will release their unit song again in the future like GD&TOP. I really like how you pointed something out amidst your reaction. Hang in there, guys lollll.. Woong, Yedam, Raesung, Doyoung, Midam, Seunghun and Jihoon is randomly picked by YG in their Straykidz performance. And at that time I think Doyoung is not part of team A because he just joined but he might have joined the Team A after that straykidz performance.

@@alwaysbekind3458 I know what you are trying to say about Seunghun but really its not a good thing for him to just channel his frustration into acting up towards anyone who are a little inexperience than him. Its not because he has the experience then he has to act like that. Its not understandable because all of them wants recognition and everyone of them shouldn't be worth less or more than the other just because of the length of years they are trained. Regardless if any of them sacrificed childhood or not shouldn't be a reason from them to act superior than the other. If you really understand why many reacted negatively on this particular scene then you must know that none of your explanation suits here. Really, they missed up with their attitude here and that's on period. No explanation needed. I still supported them in CIX though. In fact, I bought their album Hello Chapter 3, but really I was disappointed at this part from them because I expected them to know these things better given that they are more experienced than the others.

Yg wanted Seunghoon to have confidence like Doyoung but he always underestimated himself despite of singing this good. Well, Seunghoon didn't have a bad attitude towards any trainee. He has been a trainee for 9 years which makes him desperate to debut. Byoungon was selected to debut with Hyunsuk in the Mixnine show but they couldn't. Byoungon and Seunghoon are the oldest out there so I wouldn't blame them for it.
I actually feel it too. They been training for how many years and like what they said if they still cant debut in that year then it will be the end of them. You know how knetz are skeptic about groups that debuting older members.

TBH , YG’s two ‘special’ criteria in picking his artists aside fron their skills and charms, are Hardworking and humble people. You could see it on their artists.
I agree with you about Seunghun's and Byonggon's attitude, they were kinda cocky and I don't think that help them at all, they were over too confident for their years of training that didn't really see the others as good competitors. I watched the show while airing and let me tell you it was so frustating. I personally didn't like Seunghun's acttitud during the show because he never risk anything and was his biggest mistake, Seunghun as a person a like him, I saw the other YGTB content and he was funny and everything but in the actual show he never made good choices. Also agree with you about them fitting a more mature concept, I am glad they could debut un a gruop like CIX. I am a Mashi biased since TREASURE BOX so I cryed so much watching him cry.
This! I remember some insider of ygtb already predict that seunghun in dance team. And seunghun stan blaming YG for put seunghun in dance team. We know the truth after that episode aired, that was seunghun who choose dance team and no one force him. He think he's can beat all the dance team cuz he's on of the longest trainee in yg. He wanted to beat mashiho cause he saw mashi as an ez opponent, while in the vocal battle he was afraid to joined the vocal team cause of junkyu yedam and jeongwoo, and it led him to joined the dance team cause he thought he could win in it just because YG praised his dance. 😑
i'm a silverboys fan through and through and i love them all so very much. i think they're one of the nicest trainees out there, byounggon especially cause he is like the acting leader for team a and he's a very selfless and warm person but at that time, like at that very moment, i didn't quite like the smugness they showed. there's something about them knowing that they'll win if it's a popularity vote regardless if they actually did well or not that doesn't sit well with me. i also didn't like how seunghun would always pick the "easier one to beat" i noticed that when he picked mashi cause he knew he wouldn't have the chance if he picked yedam or junkyu, it also happened this time when he picked yeongue and yoonbin knowing that they have the least training of all. i mean i know this is a competition and they need to rise above the rest but i feel like he's also downgrading his talents and potentials. (you guys can honestly see it more in the future episodes and it's really sad cause i personally think that the reason why he didn't debut with treasure is because of his own decisions.)
Doyoung's confidence was what yg looking for Seunghun tbh until last episode and Hyunsuk when he challenged Junghwan last time. It's not playing it safe or not challenge your friends

I always thought Seunghun liked playing safe. They were veteran trainees yet they picked the unit with the least training. In future episodes, you can see this for sure, he doesn't take risks and I kinda get it, he was the oldest and he wanted to ensure a place in the debuting group but I don't think YG liked that, idk, maybe that's why he wasn't picked
Yeah, YG likes challenges, so he likes someone who would take risks to go over their limit. He likes someone like Wang Jyun Hao, that boy love taking risks, even on PDx101, he likes to do something difficult to challenge himself, which that is what YG likes. But Seunghun afraid to do that, and I also understand, he's one of the oldest, and like you said it, he wanted to ensure a place in the debuting group. However, he do have to step over his boundaries for that challenge. BUT I'm still glad that he and Byounggon got to debut in CIX because they suit that group more.
Same here. I really thought yg didnt pick them in treasure bec they are too manly. As i can see to Treasure, their images are both cute and cool and Seunghyun and Byungon doesnt look cute at all. they look more mature. Jihoon is the best example, tho he is masculine he's still cute and a flower boy type that suits treasure well
I understand why Mashiho felt that way. He practiced almost his whole life so it's really frustrating when he couldn't do the backflip. In addition, he felt that that's the only way they can beat Hajeongwoo... Both teams are great but Hajeongwoo's voice and chemistry are more defined. I enjoyed both performance, though.. 💗
I blame his shoes. He definitely wasn't wearing shoe insoles to boost his height during practice, you can see the height difference between him and Junkyu then. But he couldn't do it because of his boots during the performance.
I love Doyoungs confidence and how mature he handled the feedback. The fact that he is part of maknae line in Team A and in Treasure, but has a hyung vibe is really cool 🙂
You guys are very straightforward. I really like this. Angry, annoyed, genuinely loved and very attentive. My bias is Mashiho and until now, every time I watch him acrobatics, I get hurt and worried.
I see that you won't watch who is next or mix and match. Well let me spill why I said those survival show is a GOOD dang survival but at the same time, cruel. In who is next, The match is between Team A (Winner) VS Team B(Ikon). Both are very awesome and phenomenal group. In the WIN (who is next) They have to create their own stage, that means including making their own choreo for the dance performance, re arrange their own song, write, and produce their own music. They literally show that both team have no sleep at all despite the next day, they have to do live perform. one of the episode really showed that team B just done practicing in YG Trainee center 3 hours before doing their LIVE performance. yes they barely have any sleep. But the show is REAAALLLY that good. It shows how an artist can grow in span of months with the help of the survival show itself. I like this one particular episode where YG senior artists being the judge of the show and GD Taeyang is the mentor for Team A and Team B. Taeyang for Team A(winner) and GD for Team B(Ikon). idk is it just me but that episode for me it was like seeing both of the Team discovering their color, their uniqueness. oh and in episode 4 there was YG VS JYP battle thingy. YG with Winner and Ikon while JYP with Got7 and Day6. Mix and match is more enjoyable because it was kinda less tense. But it was depressing af still with countless of drama here and there. Mix and match is a SPECIAL survival show just to 'create' Ikon. There was 6 old trainees (From WIN) + 3 new trainees. 3 of the 6 old trainees were not the fix member to debut (June, Song, DK). So they have to battle these 3 new trainees. Well it was just complicated. BUT at the same time as Mix and Match, the rapper line of Ikon (B.I and BOBBY) went to another survival show which is SHOW ME THE MONEY 3 , BOBBY win 1st place btw. IDK there are a lot to share with you guys, it was just, depressing for me that time. I don't know why I tortured myself by watching those survival shows. and this is basically why I'm kinda Immune to YG Treasure Box. LOL
If your getting tired of treasure box, they have side episodes that acts a breather for the trainees to at least forgot about the competiton like Time Attack, Chuseok Special, Whats in my Bag, Christmas Party and on their vlive channel they have "five sensez mukbang"where they will guest wht food base on smell,taste,feel,sound and see and when they right they will get to eat it.
Yes, this show doesn't define them, i like both of them especially Seunghun, they had all had a hard time as trainees, I was glad they actually debuted, I was agreeing that both of them had that "attitude" during that moment as what Amy said.

Ugh, the way I'm tearing up already on the Going Crazy stage of Treasure 6. I was just watching the Going Crazy stage at MCountdown and I'm just so proud of them. And this is why I'm emotional every time I see Mashiho do backflips, I always remember this episode. And yes, I agree with you regarding Seunghun and BX. They really fit well with CIX. And they just kept avoiding Yedam or Treasure A, I feel like if they challenged Yedam or other Treasure A, it would have been a different story. Imagine Seunghun challenging Junkyu, or them challenging Yedam and Keita. When it aired I was really hoping Seunghun challenge Junkyu, it would've been awesome watching them sing Beautiful.

I was rooting for Yoon Bin & Yeon Gue as well. I felt that their performance is better, despite that they were less popular and less experienced than Gon & Hun. Also the song choice was perfect for them. Take My Hand Girl...woo ah ❤️
This episode will always not fail to make me shed a tear even if I watched this for countless times. Mashi is really confident with his skills and talent. You can already saw that from the first episode. So, knowing he can't do the things that he knows he is capable of doing is so frustrating. Thats why I understand the reason why he did cry that time. He invest his time when he was just 5 years old to learn diff. types of dances, and that includes b-boying, even ballet. In their perfromance in SBS Gayo Daejun where he able to do that backflip, it really made me teary eyed and proud. I've been a mashmellow right from the start, I know how he struggle in this episode and seeing him doing that in SBS made me really proud. I also honestly don't like the decisions of YG before. As a YG stan, we really want that all Team A or what we called Silver Boys to be on the final line up but I guess YG already set his mind to what kind of group he wants to create by thus survival show, and that is Treasure now. We can now see whats YG's vision back then, Seunghun and Byunggon really don't fit in Treasure. As what you guys said, they are quite mature to be on Treasure. And I really commend YG for having an eye and how he great he is in making kpop groups. We really love to see you guys react to WIN: Who's Next, but yeah, it is quite more cruel qnd harsher than YGTB. So, I understand the hesitation. YGTB already made you annoyed and emotionally drained, what more if its that survival show. YG really love to have a survival show that is cruel and much more real because he knows that kpop world is much more cruel. He knows that his artists are always the target of media. If this trainess can't withstand the hardship and cruelty of this survival show, they can't withstand how much more cruel kpop world is.
YG always know who shines and who burns the stages on live performances - I guess that is his standard. No matter how long they are in YG. If they command the stage, they are the one.
It's amazing how you expressed your feelings are the exact feelings most of us Teumes felt at the start. So we can never hate you because what you said is actually true and your being honest about it. I know this is draining and yes we know who won now but this survival show will really make people understand why core fans of Treasure are so into protecting and supporting them.
I really believe that Bang Yedam really deserves to where he is right now, not like everyone tells that the main producer favors him the most, it's just like he's been really really good in everything that he's doing and been an ace in every episodes that were actually airing. Everyone sees that on him that's why he is getting that attention and we all know that the passion he puts everyday is really a big thing and take note, he's good on their school too. He is really talented and the most humble man that I know.
I agree, both Ruto/Jeongwoo and Junkyu/Mashi’s performance were almost even. The style was so different from each other. These 4 kids were among my favorites during ygtb so I was down the middle. Also Yoonbin and Yeongue’s performance was better for me too. Having more training and age can be an advantage but not always when there’s good talent in the bunch. Haruto and Jeongwoo are a prime example. Mashiho was still very young here too, i believe he was only 17. And he was so good with amazing vocals, stage presence and charisma . The boys from Treasure definitely fit with the concept they are going for at the moment. The show was so stressful watching live lol omg.
Ytgb is really heartbreaking for me as a GonHun Stan specially gon knowing how soft he is the edit was freaking bad. A lot of people misunderstood gon for his physical appearance.

The intent of having treasuremakers vs pd in decision making basically captures the reality of kpop in general -- some artists get famous because of fans' attachment over purely objective measures. 😊

Creating TREASURE has bcome more Fresher and Younger. There were alot of relatively New Trainee who are Good and with Great Potential. Yoonbin is just being real, its also a popularity contest given that people can Vote. Same with Yoonbin, He is one of My Top Treasure but he left bcoz it didn't match his Musical direction. As a CIX stan I think both of them improved soooooo much from the YGTB days . I can tell that seunghun was very nervous during this and byounggoun too. Anyways everyone ended up where they were meant to be so I'm happy for all of them 💙

I was already Doyoung biased after seeing him dance in the first episode but his confident personality in his skills and the fact that he wasn’t afraid of challenging the untouchable made me literally fall in love with him
In YGTB Seunghun was def one of my faves but yes, I agree as Treasure debuted it was clear he & Gon didnt fit what YG had in mind. I’d like to think YG took care of them and pass them off to another agency to debut together. It all worked! :) And some of the trainees now too are gona debut this yr. Happy endings! YG already had an idea in his mind when they were selecting YGTB trainees. But I think he saw what he truly wanted at the last episode of YGTB. Once you get to watch at the end, you'll know. CIX was perfect for both of 'em. 😍
I think this episode was the reason why Doyoung became my ult bias in Treasure. I loved his attitude here. He's just a determined person in general. He knows he's lacking and cannot possibly have beaten Yedam's team in that moment, but he just went for it and enjoyed everything. Just like Jyunhao, Doyoung wanted to do his best by challenging himself and not by choosing the easy or safest way. He has a very positive outlook in life and he's so hardworking. I learn from him a lot even though he is a lot years younger than me.

When ygtb was still airing, it was just a different situation. Looking back you can see things more clearly. Its just back then, we were rooting for all them but just had this hope for the older trainees cause time was running out. At least i sympathized with gohun cause they were on the older end.

Yeongyu and yoonbin were both on my bias list during YGTB but sadly only yoonbin did it to treasure13. Unfortunately soon after, he decide not to debut as treasure13 member. Both haven't debuted in a group yet. But yoonbin released solos. On the other hand I just saw yeongyu made a tiktok account and he did a cover of candy by baekhyun recently. It was AMAZING!
All of them are so talented. Just see so may of them are debut, only one or two of the trainee that didn't debut right now just proved that 29 trainees of YG treasure box are amazing.

But I did agree that deans song fit seunghun way more than BX, I’ve always felt his voice was super similar to Dean’s as well , but it didn’t allow BX to showcase his rapping skills . I am rewatching YGTB with you Ams and Ev. This episode really hit me especially Jihoon's part. I've watched YGTB after TREASURE debuted so it was not as intense because I already knew the outcome but still it was frustrating at times. I would have been pissed off as well if I watched this while it was ongoing and I understood the sentiment of the fans during that time. But it actually made me appreciate and love TREASURE more because of this and it made my connection with them deeper. I know what they have been through and looking at them now makes me so proud for them.

Very important note for me in this episode:
1. Doyoung being the most YOLO and fearless on this episode. He also know how to have fun amidst the chaos even until now. Im glad he has that kind of mentality
2. Jihoon, Yedam, Doyoung, Millenium (the lyricist and composer of Slow Motion and many other tracks), Seunghun, Midam, Hyunsuk (?) etc are part of Silver Boys (the original line up of Team A and the group that competed with Stray Kids in their survival shows, YG vs JYP eps). Hence, Yedam, Jihoon, Doyoung and Hyunsuk seems to have closer relationship at the beginning among the other members since they are trained longer.
3. The birth of Hajeongwoo and Mashikyu units. This units are the strongest pairing in Treasure since then, imo. Thus, the Hajeongwoo cover (Stack it Up) is one of the most viewed cover in their youtube channel. I hope they will release their unit song again in the future like GD&TOP.

@@alwaysbekind3458 I know what you are trying to say about Seunghun but really its not a good thing for him to just channel his frustration into acting up towards anyone who are a little inexperience than him. Its not because he has the experience then he has to act like that. Its not understandable because all of them wants recognition and everyone of them shouldn't be worth less or more than the other just because of the length of years they are trained. Regardless if any of them sacrificed childhood or not shouldn't be a reason from them to act superior than the other. If you really understand why many reacted negatively on this particular scene then you must know that none of your explanation suits here. Really, they missed up with their attitude here and that's on period. No explanation needed. I still supported them in CIX though. In fact, I bought their album Hello Chapter 3, but really I was disappointed at this part from them because I expected them to know these things better given that they are more experienced than the others.

Yg wanted Seunghoon to have confidence like Doyoung but he always underestimated himself despite of singing this good. Well, Seunghoon didn't have a bad attitude towards any trainee. He has been a trainee for 9 years which makes him desperate to debut. Byoungon was selected to debut with Hyunsuk in the Mixnine show but they couldn't. Byoungon and Seunghoon are the oldest out there so I wouldn't blame them for it.

I actually feel it too. They been training for how many years and like what they said if they still cant debut in that year then it will be the end of them. You know how knetz are skeptic about groups that debuting older members.

TBH , YG’s two ‘special’ criteria in picking his artists aside fron their skills and charms, are Hardworking and humble people. You could see it on their artists.
I agree with you about Seunghun's and Byonggon's attitude, they were kinda cocky and I don't think that help them at all, they were over too confident for their years of training that didn't really see the others as good competitors. I watched the show while airing and let me tell you it was so frustating. I personally didn't like Seunghun's acttitud during the show because he never risk anything and was his biggest mistake, Seunghun as a person a like him, I saw the other YGTB content and he was funny and everything but in the actual show he never made good choices. Also agree with you about them fitting a more mature concept, I am glad they could debut un a gruop like CIX. I am a Mashi biased since TREASURE BOX so I cryed so much watching him cry.

i'm a silverboys fan through and through and i love them all so very much. i think they're one of the nicest trainees out there, byounggon especially cause he is like the acting leader for team a and he's a very selfless and warm person but at that time, like at that very moment, i didn't quite like the smugness they showed. there's something about them knowing that they'll win if it's a popularity vote regardless if they actually did well or not that doesn't sit well with me. i also didn't like how seunghun would always pick the "easier one to beat" i noticed that when he picked mashi cause he knew he wouldn't have the chance if he picked yedam or junkyu, it also happened this time when he picked yeongue and yoonbin knowing that they have the least training of all. i mean i know this is a competition and they need to rise above the rest but i feel like he's also downgrading his talents and potentials. (you guys can honestly see it more in the future episodes and it's really sad cause i personally think that the reason why he didn't debut with treasure is because of his own decisions.)

I always thought Seunghun liked playing safe. They were veteran trainees yet they picked the unit with the least training. In future episodes, you can see this for sure, he doesn't take risks and I kinda get it, he was the oldest and he wanted to ensure a place in the debuting group but I don't think YG liked that, idk, maybe that's why he wasn't picked
Yeah, YG likes challenges, so he likes someone who would take risks to go over their limit. He likes someone like Wang Jyun Hao, that boy love taking risks, even on PDx101, he likes to do something difficult to challenge himself, which that is what YG likes. But Seunghun afraid to do that, and I also understand, he's one of the oldest, and like you said it, he wanted to ensure a place in the debuting group. However, he do have to step over his boundaries for that challenge. BUT I'm still glad that he and Byounggon got to debut in CIX because they suit that group more.
Same here. I really thought yg didnt pick them in treasure bec they are too manly. As i can see to Treasure, their images are both cute and cool and Seunghyun and Byungon doesnt look cute at all. they look more mature. Jihoon is the best example, tho he is masculine he's still cute and a flower boy type that suits treasure well
I understand why Mashiho felt that way. He practiced almost his whole life so it's really frustrating when he couldn't do the backflip. In addition, he felt that that's the only way they can beat Hajeongwoo... Both teams are great but Hajeongwoo's voice and chemistry are more defined.

I blame his shoes. He definitely wasn't wearing shoe insoles to boost his height during practice, you can see the height difference between him and Junkyu then. But he couldn't do it because of his boots during the performance.
I love Doyoungs confidence and how mature he handled the feedback. The fact that he is part of maknae line in Team A and in Treasure, but has a hyung vibe is really cool 🙂
You guys are very straightforward. I really like this. Angry, annoyed, genuinely loved and very attentive. My bias is Mashiho and until now, every time I watch him acrobatics, I get hurt and worried.

I see that you won't watch who is next or mix and match. Well let me spill why I said those survival show is a GOOD dang survival but at the same time, cruel. In who is next, The match is between Team A (Winner) VS Team B(Ikon). Both are very awesome and phenomenal group. In the WIN (who is next) They have to create their own stage, that means including making their own choreo for the dance performance, re arrange their own song, write, and produce their own music. They literally show that both team have no sleep at all despite the next day, they have to do live perform. one of the episode really showed that team B just done practicing in YG Trainee center 3 hours before doing their LIVE performance. yes they barely have any sleep.
But the show is REAAALLLY that good. It shows how an artist can grow in span of months with the help of the survival show itself. I like this one particular episode where YG senior artists being the judge of the show and GD Taeyang is the mentor for Team A and Team B. Taeyang for Team A(winner) and GD for Team B(Ikon). idk is it just me but that episode for me it was like seeing both of the Team discovering their color, their uniqueness. oh and in episode 4 there was YG VS JYP battle thingy. YG with Winner and Ikon while JYP with Got7 and Day6.
Mix and match is more enjoyable because it was kinda less tense. But it was depressing af still with countless of drama here and there. Mix and match is a SPECIAL survival show just to 'create' Ikon. There was 6 old trainees (From WIN) + 3 new trainees. 3 of the 6 old trainees were not the fix member to debut (June, Song, DK). So they have to battle these 3 new trainees. Well it was just complicated. BUT at the same time as Mix and Match, the rapper line of Ikon (B.I and BOBBY) went to another survival show which is SHOW ME THE MONEY 3 , BOBBY win 1st place btw. IDK there are a lot to share with you guys, it was just, depressing for me that time. I don't know why I tortured myself by watching those survival shows.
and this is basically why I'm kinda Immune to YG Treasure Box. LOL
If your getting tired of treasure box, they have side episodes that acts a breather for the trainees to at least forgot about the competiton like Time Attack, Chuseok Special, Whats in my Bag, Christmas Party and on their vlive channel they have "five sensez mukbang"where they will guest wht food base on smell,taste,feel,sound and see and when they right they will get to eat it.

Ugh, the way I'm tearing up already on the Going Crazy stage of Treasure 6. I was just watching the Going Crazy stage at MCountdown and I'm just so proud of them. And this is why I'm emotional every time I see Mashiho do backflips, I always remember this episode.
And yes, I agree with you regarding Seunghun and BX. They really fit well with CIX. And they just kept avoiding Yedam or Treasure A, I feel like if they challenged Yedam or other Treasure A, it would have been a different story. Imagine Seunghun challenging Junkyu, or them challenging Yedam and Keita. When it aired I was really hoping Seunghun challenge Junkyu, it would've been awesome watching them sing Beautiful.

This episode will always not fail to make me shed a tear even if I watched this for countless times. Mashi is really confident with his skills and talent. You can already saw that from the first episode. So, knowing he can't do the things that he knows he is capable of doing is so frustrating. Thats why I understand the reason why he did cry that time. He invest his time when he was just 5 years old to learn diff. types of dances, and that includes b-boying, even ballet. In their perfromance in SBS Gayo Daejun where he able to do that backflip, it really made me teary eyed and proud. I've been a mashmellow right from the start, I know how he struggle in this episode and seeing him doing that in SBS made me really proud.
I also honestly don't like the decisions of YG before. As a YG stan, we really want that all Team A or what we called Silver Boys to be on the final line up but I guess YG already set his mind to what kind of group he wants to create by thus survival show, and that is Treasure now. We can now see whats YG's vision back then, Seunghun and Byunggon really don't fit in Treasure. As what you guys said, they are quite mature to be on Treasure. And I really commend YG for having an eye and how he great he is in making kpop groups.
We really love to see you guys react to WIN: Who's Next, but yeah, it is quite more cruel qnd harsher than YGTB. So, I understand the hesitation. YGTB already made you annoyed and emotionally drained, what more if its that survival show. YG really love to have a survival show that is cruel and much more real because he knows that kpop world is much more cruel. He knows that his artists are always the target of media. If this trainess can't withstand the hardship and cruelty of this survival show, they can't withstand how much more cruel kpop world is.

I know this is draining and yes we know who won now but this survival show will really make people understand why core fans of Treasure are so into protecting and supporting them.
I really believe that Bang Yedam really deserves to where he is right now, not like everyone tells that the main producer favors him the most, it's just like he's been really really good in everything that he's doing and been an ace in every episodes that were actually airing. Everyone sees that on him that's why he is getting that attention and we all know that the passion he puts everyday is really a big thing and take note, he's good on their school too. He is really talented and the most humble man that I know.
I agree, both Ruto/Jeongwoo and Junkyu/Mashi’s performance were almost even. The style was so different from each other. These 4 kids were among my favorites during ygtb so I was down the middle. Also Yoonbin and Yeongue’s performance was better for me too. Having more training and age can be an advantage but not always when there’s good talent in the bunch. Haruto and Jeongwoo are a prime example. Mashiho was still very young here too, i believe he was only 17. And he was so good with amazing vocals, stage presence and charisma .
The boys from Treasure definitely fit with the concept they are going for at the moment.

Creating TREASURE has bcome more Fresher and Younger. There were alot of relatively New Trainee who are Good and with Great Potential. Yoonbin is just being real, its also a popularity contest given that people can Vote. Same with Yoonbin, He is one of My Top Treasure but he left bcoz it didn't match his Musical direction. He is actually a smart Composer and Mature, Mino and Bobby kind of Hiphop vibe.

I was already Doyoung biased after seeing him dance in the first episode but his confident personality in his skills and the fact that he wasn’t afraid of challenging the untouchable made me literally fall in love with him
In YGTB Seunghun was def one of my faves but yes, I agree as Treasure debuted it was clear he & Gon didnt fit what YG had in mind. I’d like to think YG took care of them and pass them off to another agency to debut together. It all worked! :) And some of the trainees now too are gona debut this yr. Happy endings!

I think this episode was the reason why Doyoung became my ult bias in Treasure. I loved his attitude here. He's just a determined person in general. He knows he's lacking and cannot possibly have beaten Yedam's team in that moment, but he just went for it and enjoyed everything. Just like Jyunhao, Doyoung wanted to do his best by challenging himself and not by choosing the easy or safest way. He has a very positive outlook in life and he's so hardworking. I learn from him a lot even though he is a lot years younger than me.

When ygtb was still airing, it was just a different situation. Looking back you can see things more clearly. Its just back then, we were rooting for all them but just had this hope for the older trainees cause time was running out. At least i sympathized with gohun cause they were on the older end.

Yeongyu and yoonbin were both on my bias list during YGTB but sadly only yoonbin did it to treasure13. Unfortunately soon after, he decide not to debut as treasure13 member. Both haven't debuted in a group yet. But yoonbin released solos. On the other hand I just saw yeongyu made a tiktok account and he did a cover of candy by baekhyun recently. It was AMAZING!
All of them are so talented. Just see so may of them are debut, only one or two of the trainee that didn't debut right now just proved that 29 trainees of YG treasure box are amazing.

I sort of had the feeling mashi and junkyu would loose only because I felt mashi relied on his backflip way to much to win against jeongwoo and haruto it keep them from actually working together.

I am rewatching YGTB with you Ams and Ev. This episode really hit me especially Jihoon's part. I've watched YGTB after TREASURE debuted so it was not as intense because I already knew the outcome but still it was frustrating at times. I would have been pissed off as well if I watched this while it was ongoing and I understood the sentiment of the fans during that time. But it actually made me appreciate and love TREASURE more because of this and it made my connection with them deeper. I know what they have been through and looking at them now makes me so proud for them.
Now, Doyoung wanted to beat Yedam but not in TreasureBox but on Asahi's heart. Aweeeee
