My brother had the same scenario with a purebred heifer he bought. He went through the same procedure as you did. Unsuccessful but through perseverance on his part she got in calf. It took a long time though
Scoops I had charolais here 20 of them I packed it in heart break after heart break lad I have all saler cows now with charolais bull and il never look back didn't use my calfin jack in 4 years and serious weanlings
It is hard to quit on them,, will stick at the them for another while took a chance on her and didn’t work, but look at least our bred heifers went incalf and happy enough there

Unfortunately I won’t be giving her the time, the only way I see it they need to breed easy and a calf ok for them to stay! It’s hardship enough 😂

The pedigree game seems to be a bit risky. Seems best to breed your own and sell the surplus 😊
