I'm so impressed, astonished, and MOTIVATED by this man. He's been my favorite for a few years now; who can possibly make any valid argument against his pure strength? That overhead is just, wow....
at 7 feet nine 450 pounds 80 inch chest could shoulder 2700 pounds and walk with it his shoulders were four feet wide 12 inch hands angus macaskill could carry 300 pound barrels under each arm and walk half a mile could carry a horse over a fence that's why hes strongest man every lived I tried to pick up one corner of one of the anchors he lifted and couldn't move it im 6 feet 3 inches 250 and can dead lift 600 I can carry 500 pounds in my vids so that my view on it
The most registered Strongman competitions on record: 132 The best ratio of podiums : 112/132 with 72 first places The only Strongman to have won all major strongman championships and.... The most impressive track record with regard to WR per events ( 9 different events) And........ Zydrunas Savickas one of the three Strongest Man that Ever Lived, the Strongest Man of the modern era and the Strongest Man on Earth alive.
and 11 years and a bit after this video was made he is still relevant in the strongman competitions, a living legend and a fire that seems to not be put out in his competitive spirit

You can't just "believe in yourself" and achieve anything. You can achieve more than you would think possible but truth be told must have elite genetics and a ton of time to fall back on to compete at a high level of any sport on the planet. Big Z was always had a crazy amount of brute strength, setting Lithuanian records in his late teens like a lot of other strongmen do as well

@AmusingYeti Agreed, they'd also need a mix of 80s events with modern events to mix it evenly. Kazmaier was incredible at the log press and deadlift and they'd win him massive points but I don't see him beating Savickas at those- and if he did, certainly not to the extent to give him a good enough points advantage.

Louis Cyr,Arthur Saxon,Eugen Sandow Paul Anderson,Žydrūnas Savickas, Glenn Ross,Žydrūnas Savickas, Mark Henry,Andy Bolton,Benedikt Magnusson and of course Mariusz is strong,fast and a brutal MMA fighter,but not so strong than others. those guys can together lift a planet earth.
Yeah I have to agree with most of your comments about Savickas being the strongest man ever, his pressing and deadlift are out of this world but he's not a complete strongman like Pudzianowski was, he was so entertaining to watch and I still think Pudzianowski is the greatest strongman ever, he also has 5 WSM titles, more than anyone else.
All of these people that go on about his fat percentage, WHO GIVES A SHIT! he is not trying to be Mr Olympia or a male model, he is trying to be as strong as possible because the weights in strongman are going up and up, pudzanowski and derek poundstone only won big competitions because the weights were lower in past years, you cannot lift enough weight with a six pack because if you have a six pack your body weight would be too low to win a truck pull or build the strength to win a deadlift or log lift, strongmen are only going to get heavier, the lean pudzanowskis and poundstones cant compete anymore, all the winners are over 375 pounds now and the only two people who can stay over 375 and keep a six pack are Shaw and Thor because of their frame

Shaw has already won. Bjönrsson has not. But the tallest man that have won this competition is Ted van der Parre - 213 cm, 7 foot - from Netherlands 1992.
