Haha yeah i know it is good to see the younger brother get out and have some fun on the kings. But me and my father are still planning on cracking onto a big one so hopefully wont be anymore videos of fishing inside the bay for barely legal rats

Great catches mate! Looked heaps fun on light gear. Great video too!
I never learned how to catch squid... yakkas are all I've had. Where and how do you catch em? Gotta be in still/calm water over weed I know (Captain cook's first landing place has em a mate of mine has told me) but how do you know they're there and how do you get em on the bite?
yakkas do work well for me but would love to give squid a try to see if they're better =P

Hey mate general rule of thumb fish weed beds with good quality jigs. View my previous videos to get a more in depth view on the "where's and hows" to catch squid

nice vid, just a question, when you have your baits out, do you have them all the way to the bottom with your sinker holding bottom or are they suspended midwater etc?

+SANTOS11287 i usually run about a meter and half trace and usually let my baits sit 3-5 metres off the bottom
