I can tell you how truly far his reach was....I. have been gathering hundreds of seeds in Australia from beautiful trees like the Royal Poinciana, and have saved them to plant in Palestine....I do remember seeing one of Medo Halimy's video on why he plants and I so wanted to reach out and say to him I have beutiful seeds saved ready to plant in Palestine soon .... Medo Halimy we will plant beautiful trees and your beautiful spirit will find rest there....thank you for making this video...I now feel like he was giving me the nod to take over where he left off...planting life.❤🌱🌳

Let us also remember and strive, in whatever way we can, to keep those who are presently in Gaza and the Westbank alive, and continue to work towards the eventual freedom of Palestine. I was deeply impacted by Medos passing, he was the first Palestinian I followed to have their life stollen. I think about it him all the time, he was just a few years older than my eldest son. His hope was infectious, you couldn’t help but believe his garden would grow and thrive. Thank you for your tribute.

Finally, after seeing your video, I have some hope in my heart again. I did not know Medo personally, but his death has devastated me, and I feel like I lost a close friend.
I felt the whole world should be remembering him. I had nobody to understand or listen. I wrote out his recipes, and I wrote his quote about resistance on my shirt. I planted a mint plant, and cried so many tears.
He was a bright light in a dark world, and like so many others, his light will keep shining.

I cried through your whole video. I knew the story of every picture you posted.
My great grandfather was apart of the Nazi Resistance as a professor. He was tipped off just in time, and escaped with his wife and my grandfather (a toddler) to the US. The rest of them except a couple were arrested, put on a “show trial” and 😵 all of them or sent them to the camps. When we lost Medo, and many others before I remember what my great grandfather told me as a child. “when I walk the streets of Hamburg, I feel them, and I know they are with me in spirit. We won, they know that, that’s all that matters” so, I know that I will do the same. We will free Palestine, we will help them rebuild, and we will stand on the beaches of a free Gaza with our new friends alive and martyred. They will all be there with us even if that’s just in spirit. Inshallah.

I was genuinely thinking a lot about him the last months but I couldn’t find his account name anymore in all the internet that exists. I’m really taken by this news he was completely innocent and such an beautiful soul. He’s nearly the same age as me so it was very easy for me to relate to him. May he rest in peace. I heard 3 different Organizations were collecting money and they found out it was a woman scammer from the US but they never mentioned the names of the Organizations. To anyone who reads this, look around you. This is what humans are capable of. In the wild, the constant killing of other animals without a need for their meat whatsoever is a part of life. But when you get a creature with the ability to create discord and destruction wherever he desires, for any reason whatsoever, can you really nod your head, say okay, and that this is part of life? I don't care what belief system you grew up on and what the world and its current state look like to you, this is not okay. But is it enough for me, or you, or Palestinians, or South Africans, or Congolese, to say this is not okay, for it not to be okay? What does it mean that something is not okay? It means that this thing cannot happen, either by being prevented to begin with or by providing consequences for those who commit it. That's where all the "no humanity", "no morals", "inhumane" terms come from; they stem from the human understanding that to transgress a certain boundary of cruelty and pain is only possible once you lose your human status, because a normal human wouldn't do it. Why? You may, if not religious, say because we all have morals that we abide by. But that is ridiculous. Then anything that a certain group agrees on is okay, so long as they decide to make an ethical belief system that allows it. Like how Isnotreal cannot investigate itself, humans cannot set rules for themselves, and cannot create consequences if rules are not followed by themselves. So, dear human, reading this meaningless post, see if something has awakened in you. By something, I mean of course, a belief in a Higher Being, one that truly has both the right, knowledge and capability to set rules for humanity and punish or reward them accordingly. I wrote this because I want to inspire hope in the non-believing, atheist or otherwise religiously confused souls whose hearts ache for Palestine. Learn from the Palestinians, your love for them is a testament to the pureness of your soul, look within your heart and find the longing to cry out to the Lord above, of whom there is none but Him, the One, the Only, all praise be due to Him.
