It is not DC which is fed to the transformer, it is the "switched DC"; which is switched at high frequency (as explained 25kHz to 50kHz). So transformer is getting a square wave of high freq, so will work fine; with a better efficiency. Hope that clarifies.
Actually it is ac input which has 50Hz frequency and it fed to rect+filter that convert in pure dc (not in pulsating form) of 325 volts() if your using 230(rms) volts than pwm cause to high frequency switching let say MOSFET used here as switch that on off at 25kHz frequency and your filtered dc forms 25kHz 325 volts dc and fed to high power transformer. note: DC supply can also has frequency in pulses.

Great explanation ma'am 🙏
Great explanation 🙏
The best explanation
Very good explanation ma'am 👍
How power transformers will step down the DC voltage?
All concept are gd but how you fed dc into a transformer bcz due to induction law transformer work on only ac supply , it will be obyesly burnt

How dc has frequey
No. Of cycles is frequency in DC signals.
