Nothing Phone 1 is a great phone, but Pixel 7 series have a better camera. I believe both are an excellent choice - it really depends on your personal taste.
The amount of hate Phone 1 is getting reminds me of CR7. But history bears witness that it is the hate that fuelled him throughout his career. NOTHING is undoubtedly the best value for money Phone available currently in the market. Don't be misled by baseless hate and factless criticism. Have been using the device from a month and it's more than what I had expected, for sure. Premium in hand quality and smooth functioning coupled with the camera quality. I won't even talk about the glyph interface, wireless charging, regular updates/big fixes,120hz buttery smooth display, reliable Snapdragon 778G+ chipset and battery optimization because even without these, the argument can be won hands down. I researched the market thoroughly for 3 months before reaching the decision to finally buy the Phone 1 because opting for any other Phone would've definitely resulted in a regret of not instead buying the Phone 1. It's the mid-range King for sure. Go for it.
I m planning to buy nothing but few suggested to go with iqoo Neo 6..... So will u tell me what abt neo 6 ... I want good battery backup n good camera ...n also vry few ads n bloatwares... I want phone for studying purpose and normal day to day usage....
Nothing Phone 1 is a good for midrange and sometimes better a Pixel 7. Good job for a first phone. We don't all zoom many in our photos. Totally Ok for an average user
The Nothing Phone 1 seems to have an issue with a yellow cast on the front facing camera. Generally, the NP1 winds up the contrast too much and crushes detail in the shadows.
(Buy a) Used Pixel 6 over the Nothing Phone 1 - does 90% of what the Pixel 7 does at a fraction of the price. The issue with the NP1 photo processing is the over sharpening, completely ruins the shots.
Couldn't agree more. I have the 6 Pro and I'm not the slightest interested in upgrading to the 7 Pro, since the difference is miniscule after all the updates for the 6 Pro's camera software since launch. If Dxomark made a new testing of the Pixel 6-Series, I would reckon the score would be even closer to the 7-series.
Pixel 6 has pretty much the same camera hardware - so no surprise. Over time Google have mastered the game and extract a whole lot out of the setup. Make sure to keep the 6 and enjoy it!
4:50 If you like to take macro shots with the Pixel phone, don't use the regular camera mode, but instead using the Portrait mode. This will get you closer without the problem seen here with blurry images. - just a tip for the author of this video review.

yeah, totally. Especially for the ultra-wide camera. But overall - the Nothing phone has very decent camera performance. Almost every phone will look inferior when compared to the Pixel 7 image processing.
Considering the Nothing phone is relatively new, it performed very well. I actually prefer some of the photos produced on the Nothing One phone! I'm a pixel owner and I find it lifts the shadows too much and goes overboard with the dynamic range making the photos unusable. Shadows aren't supposed to be lifted so much ( coming from a mirror less and DSLR owner)
Bro what about the issues with Google pixel like heating, glitches, idle drain issue and if the phone gets hot, the camera and the entire phone stops working for few seconds. Mostly I have seen in few other RUclips reviews that phone was not providing proper updates. Also camera bump is getting too hot when the phone is heated up. Can you give us entire details of the pixel 7 phone with pros and cons. Especially cons
I have experienced none of the troubles you mention. Perhaps you should ask those people for more details. If someone claims that Pixel phones do not receive regular updates, then I don't know whether you should use an Android phone at all.
i got both for me pixel 7 is more heat at the back even you just scrolling trough social media ... on the other hand nothing phone feels more solid and smooth and cold then pixel it self .. just my 50 cent
If i had anything to comment on the selfie camera at 6:13 i would say that the image on the right from the Nothing phone has sharpened your hair too much making it look a bit unnatural and as if you have a hair transplant. The left image looks a lot more natural imo
Yeah SD870 would be better but Im perfectly fine with SD778g+. I prefer faster storage memory. If something needs more power than 778 can handle then its pretty much pointless becouse battery wont last long.

But the price difference is not that small, here in my country right now there's a 200 euros difference. however i'd love to see a comparison between the NP1 and pixel 6a. that's more apples to apples. i wish i could afford the pixel 7. But in a market range where every single phone is and looks the same and, according to so called unbiased professionals, everyone of them is brilliant. just get the one you like and makes you stand out. both pixel 6a and nothing will do that just fine

I don't like xiaomis much bc everyone has one hahaha. I might wait on a deal on 7a or go with the 6a at 350 or np1 12gb at 400. I'm already streching it with those hahaha Btw. 1.1.7 is not the latest even as that of january 2023. It is 1.1.8. That is leaving the fact that there were two open betas of android 13 1.5.0 and 1.5.1. It maybe noted that there are some areas which have not got 1.1.8 so yeah.

I have watched a lot of videos about Pixel phones, I like them, and about the NP1, because of the big hype that was created around it. At the end I feel it was dirt in the eyes. One friend of my bought the phone and he sold it, for him wasn't the best experience. 3. Yeah, after 9 seconds I knew the answer, you can watch it and see that I was right (sorry for the spoiler 😜)! 4. Money it's not a factor to decide what you buy in the regard that you are presenting it! Pixel is one class (at least) above NP1, even the 6a (and that is cheaper), not to talk about the 7 or 7 pro!
@@binderrobert4909 my np1 after updates beats the camera of pixel 6a, specially night mode ( the np 1 in my country sells cheaper than the pixel 6a) and np1 is an overall better package than pixel 6a, it has better processor, better battery, wireless and faster charging, better refresh rate, and better build and looks.
This Nothing Phone, apart from its design, is nothing special in my opinion 🤷🏽♂️. I'm really not a fan of Pixel-Experience, but I prefer buying a Pixel 6 or even 6a 1000 times over this Nothing Phone. A Motorola Edge 30 would be a much better buy.

Yeah. On the other hand - pixel tends to apply HDR-feeling on pretty much every photo. But that looks good.

Agreed. I think my 2 year old Samsung S20 does a better job than the Nothing Phone 1.

I use nothing phone, my opinion is a great midrange smarphone, good camera good software performance

That's a good trick. But even with Gcam I doubt it is any better than Pixel 7. Both devices are fantastic about camera performance though.
