    Great video. Please next time do not play music during instructional tutorials tho, it makes it harder to hear, and also this particular music sounds very very very bad.

    I'm confused. Doesn't the RevoPoint Mini come with it's own software to align these? Why use Cloudcompare then?

      Back when i made the tutorial there was only Revostudio and it was not great.
      Still sometimes it is better to use Cloudcompare on complex aligns since You have much more controll over the outcome. Revoscan works well these days but it does not allow you to edit a Aligned pointcloud still.
      that said the meshing on Revostudio is very good and when i need to use CC i now open the clean and aligned PC and mesh in RS
