I think problem that you had this match was the lack of AA. They all got wiped at the start leaving you with little to work with as you left them all undefended and open to attack.
I don't think the M1A1 ACAV is supposed to be used for its optics, the significant thing about it is the forward deployment. If you don't take it in the opener then it's wasted IMO. It should probably be used with M3A2 Bradleys which have better optics anyway. Like in this match, a M1A1 ACAV/M3A2 combo would've cleaned up the Foxes on the left if it came in at the start (the 5FAV on the M3A2 is big!) and kept the opponent from ticking at +8. The LRS was too vulnerable to set up on the other side of the treeline where they could see the Foxes coming and the Engineer Dragons showed up too late, and it got them all killed. You get enough recon slots and unit diversity within the recon tab to make the vast majority of your opener forward deployed, I feel like it's a big mistake to not to take advantage of that, you can take more ground with that head start.
@@xeroprotagonist true and good point, I just feel vulnerable to LGBs if I start with that combo but would’ve been nice to have for his opener for sure and backed up with hawks/pivads
@@tmanplays69 yeah, it's very risky against Berlin Command for sure but I think going for forward deployed armor is still the core of 11th Cav's strategy. Though maybe a recon humvee or helicopter-focused opener could also be an option? Or you could always just open with 6 A-10s.
British decks in general just suffer from having no AA. Which would be fine but they don't have the planes either, theyve got pretty potent strike planes but the AA variants just aren't good. The Tornados are ok AA but not top class, and the Harriers and F4s are just bad. Its just so easy to push them out of the sky. The least they could do is give the Harrier GR3 the AIM-9M (which the A10 carries) rather than L so it has some range. That and make it fly lower as becomes its much lower flight speed so its not just radar bait.
I’m actually a big fan of the tornado. Really solid ASF because you get so many missiles. The one plane I hate the most is the French F1C because it’s low missile count and it’s very unreliable on its own.
@@tmanplays69 But unlike for example the F15, SU-27 and Mig-29. It only has 50% accuracy not 60%. And its 700m range less than its Soviet counterparts. And the F15 has 10% more ECM. It makes it quite hard to take favourable engagements, any engagement where you dont get behind them first is a big risk as there's always a risk youll just take the first hit and lose it. And while thats annoying for everyone, few decks have such poor AA ground based as the British decks. I think the 39th is probably the only one in a similar position. I think if the Harrier wasnt so comically bad it wouldnt be such a big problem but they dont even get the longer range AIM-9Ms.
@@Talshere88 I can agree with you there on the harriers. Those are a pain to use… also British AA suffers haha. LML teams are nice at dealing with helicopters though.
He vastly overextended his nighthawk to kill the Abrams. Radar AA like the pivads have good air optics in order to spot the nighthawk when it gets close enough
The A-10 opener put a smile on my face 😂❤️
It’s always a fun opener haha :)
Nice game! Close one for opponent tbh :)
Yes, he played very well!

I agree completely
W A-10 opener
keep it up!
That's the plan! Thank you
feel like m1 acav needs like very good optics to do be what the devs seem to think it should be
Yeah, the fact it couldn’t spot what was shooting at it from
~1400m was sad

why are you not using Artillery?
Might take out both cards of M1A1 Acav for some arty. I actually have none on the deck haha
Good stuff, you now need to move to a better res monitor for your next birthday ;)
I could use a lot of upgrades for my PC setup 😂 got a wedding to pay for soon though as I just got engaged recently
@@tmanplays69 Congratulation sir :D

So radar units can target the F117 as normal... Interesting.
Yeah it’s harder, but not especially if u fly right over it.

I love your videos but please stop pronouncing PIVADS like PEEVADS
I’ll do my best to remember 😂
