New record is album of the year for me! This band never got the love they deserve, always seemed like such wholesome dudes too

Unearth is one of the first heavy metal bands I loved. At least in the top 5 of my top 50 heavy metal bands
I remember my friend caught the drumstick at the Mayhem fest in Michigan about a decade ago. One of my first most pits too. Crowd surfed but got tossed up and dropped on the black top. Got back up and continued to mosh!!!!

Same, I've been listening to these guys for 20 years now which is nuts to me. They've been very consistent at putting out great music. I saw them in 2011 at Mayhem.

@@elimcfly350 Mayhem and WarpTour were my teenager goals every year. So many great bands just starting out 15~ years ago. Started with Shadows Fall and Inflames, just to name some. Black Dahlia Murder is also one of my favorite bands. Sadly I found them out because of Rock Band. Also one of the hardest songs on drums. Alen Cassidy is amazing.
My first tattoo was when I was 15, yeah my dad was there. Got a skull and crossbones from a Finn Troll album cover on my top back. That tattoo is hitting 15 years old now!!!
Edit/ps: I wish there were good metal festivals like back in the 2000s. I'm in sw Florida now so it's a long trip or 3k for the metal cruise.
