Inner Child explores the life of a retired NHS nurse living alone, a joyful and playful cheeky older lass. Her interactions with herself and others define her past present and future experiences. Her inner child shines through and she connects with life.
Joel Ryan McDermott is an artist who uses auto-ethnography, ethnography, writing and film to explore individuality, connection and community.
McDermott is interested in how his films can play an active role in challenging cultural myth and ameliorating community division.

I heard your songs as the audio for 3 vids today and was in tears, happy-sad but filled with Empathy, true empathy which is often confused with just sympathy...you have, I think become my favorite band as of this day. The voice of lead singer(I don't even know names yet) is heavenly. I know not what, if any beliefs you have but it is angelic and haunting. I LOVE now what I'm seeing as your actual videos (on your channel) even more...I guess I'm gushing over your music a bit like when you meet that person that makes your stomach get the butterflies feeling.
