I'm definitely going to try that rod wrapping trick. I have (DIY) rod socks but, you're right, they are a challenge while on the water sometimes. And Megan, well, great catch. Another awesome video!

If you wanna clean the rust off your baits, use toilet bowl cleaner. Like that scrubbing bubbles stuff or the stuff in the pink spray bottle. Let them sit and then use steel wool or the rough side of a sponge. I let mine sit for 30 mins and it worked good.

Megan reminds me a friend of mine who I took him last week fishing at lake winnipeg, since it was his first time, I gave him a lindy rig to make sure he has his bait at target depth, and guess what, his first fish was a manitoba master angler, a 28.5 inch greenback 😅😅
