Big wood on bottom, smaller cross top of that, kindling cross top of smaller wood, fire starter material on top of that. Burn from top to bottom. Doesn't everyone know this? I watch all these bush crafter, off grid cabin chanel's, everyone starting their fires backwards. 🙄
Fire burns down, by time fire gets to bottom where big wood is, it's hot. Don't have to jack with it for couple hours.

I always leave a fire laid, matches, 24 hrs of firewood water and canned food in my winter cabin. You never know who might show up cold or injured.

When fitting new windows and frames, Drill small pilot holes first, this will allow te srew to be flitted without damaging the screw head and later on prevent the wood frame from splitting

A model somewhere in a cabin ? Kid, I live in NYC ! I get it , you don’t like city’s, well take it from me, if you come here you will be left alone !! Serious! I’m a performer and I don’t give a damn ,, I try to make everyone laugh, I would serious love to be able to do what you do, as a kid I would camp out in the front yard as my mom looked out the window all night! Now I live in my own apt. Always manhattan but now by Barklays Centre . I have an incredible veiw of the now NEW BROOKLYN. But I could live in your cabin, same thing? In the summer I live in a tree house because over the the patio there are so many trees so see you can live anywhere and have a getaway! I really admire you! Your creating your own world ! Great filming!!

Nice YT video, cozy cabin. No doubt chores and maintenance would take up a goodly part of the time. One thing though - Entertainment? Obviously it’s got to be small and portable. If it were me I’d have a chess/checkers board, a book of chess games and puzzles. And one or two books to read. I’d also have a few 80s 90s handheld devices that were easy on batteries. My Fr*nkl*n wordmaster dictionary and games from the 80s is still brilliant. My S*ny windup radio from 2000 still works and has a surprisingly good sound.
My portable battery operated word processor Alph*Sm*rt NEO 2 lasts some 700 hours on one set of batteries. It’s from around 2010 but may be considered a bit bulky.

Vinegar water (1/4 cup vinegar and 2 1/2 cup water) in a spray bottle works great for cleaning and sanitizing utensils, dishes and work surfaces etc. Especially when you don't have running water, i.e. indoor plumbing etc.

Exactly the place I want to, sometimes go to and have some time to myself.... you should have protection on the small window from outside... a wooden piece like a cross with nails on the outside protecting against predators trying to get in.... and the same thing on the front door with wood with nails on the outside on the door and good locks on the door from the inside.... out in the wild must take safety very seriously in order, not to cause great harm both to humans and the animals and nature around...
