Wish more channels cared about their schedules and the number of different shows that come on during a given week. I think streaming services will soon loose popularity and people will start watching actual TV again!
With the amount of content purges happening in many of the streaming services espcially with Max and WBD because of the "man hated by hollywood" for example. I'd say it definitely isn't worth it afterwards.
From being a more convenient way to watch whatever you want wherever you want to being the equivalent of a real TV channel. Adverts, having to pay, having to go to different places just to find one show or movie. But thank the heavens for those free streaming services though.
Shows on demand, DVDs, and blu-ray is great! It's free, and you can watch them without buying or paying anything. Now they're slowly fading away thanks to streaming services
Sports is the reason I have subscriptions to prime, peacock and Apple TV is because my cable channel decided that certain nights my team would not be showing on my cable sports network rather it’s on prime, I pay for a sports package, that I already pay extra for. Sometimes games are on Apple TV or peacock. Football season is upon us I dread to see what games I’ll be missing out on because of being on a streamer that I don’t have. At least simulcast to the paying once customer. I hate this double dipping. It was when ball games were taken off regular tv and put on something called cable, where you needed a box on top of your set to get this now special programming. Deja vu all over again.
If there gonna get rid of there original shows and movies, they could've at least give the rights back to their creators or companies who want to distribute them.
I mean at least there's free streaming services but even that is crazy the crazy thing is too is that these companies have pulled a lot of shows from syndication from over the air TV which is really upsetting and they're putting all their stuff for streaming on their own services. People would say as well as to just put antenna in the back of your TV and there you go you got free TV but you got to understand that most of the networks are not available everywhere for example here in my area we don't have a lot of channels more specifically sub channels.
This is great! You should do one on something I’ve hated for a long time… The console editions of Minecraft bedrock. I paid ~30 USD for a game that still has micro transactions? Not to mention I hate the feel of all the menus, slow, unresponsive and generally inferior when compared to legacy edition, and much, much more.
You also forgot to mention you can just watch over-the-air TV, just cable, but completely free. Just go to a store, buy a TV antenna, hook it to your TV, do a channel scan, and boom! Problem solved!

Good point about how streaming is trying to siphon from every other format by how much linear TV and physical media have suffered blows. I think the most important thing about those forms is the charm, how you can watch it offline forever, how premieres are live events rather than late-night dumps.

Not every country has HBO Max. The UK doesn’t have it yet as HBO still has a partnership with Sky. If this contract expires I have a feeling that Sky Atlantic probably won’t last and it’s content would move to other Sky channels.
Thats why I just watch regular tv, or I get DVDs from the charity shop. Where I live you can pick them up second hand for really cheap (like 50p-£1) and you can find pretty much any movie/series you like cos people are always donating them to make way for streaming services, as the saying goes one man's trash is another treasure lol
So much entertainment stuff has degraded in quality in recent times. At least Tubi is decent. The fact it's so hard to find Infinity Train now, been wanting to check it out for some time now. Greed poisons, for real. Disney isn't what it used to be, either.
It still costs a lot less then what most cable companies charge and you don't have to wait for a specific time for something to be on. I don't think it's that bad.
I also forgot to mention in the video that DVDs/CDs may not last forever because they will all rot away and no longer work. By 2100, every DVD/CD around as of 2024 will no longer work.
Max is the worst streaming service for treating Looney Tunes and Cartoon Network shows like shit because first off I hate Warner Bros Discovery merge with a burning passion second ever since last year the Looney Tunes shorts from 1950s-onward were deleted over a year ago third they have gotten rid of Cartoon Network shows like Dexter’s Laboratory Foster’s home for imaginary friends and the misadventures of FlapJack fourth the Looney Tunes shorts that are still on the Boomerang app are going to be gone because of the Boomerang app shutting down by the end of this month and will be merging to Max I have so many reasons why I hate Max and Warner Bros Discovery that means if i want to see the Looney Tunes shorts from 1950s - onward i will have to pay a fortune for Looney Tunes Platinum collection blu rays physical media still needs to exist for many reasons plus i will be getting Dexter’s Laboratory the complete series dvd sometime but the only reason i still want max is so I can watch the remastered Tom and Jerry shorts from the cancelled Tom and Jerry Golden Collection volume 2 blu ray until they release those shorts on Blu Ray in the near future

I’m also surprised at how long it took from Netflix and Hulu’s initial rise to the studios opening their own streamers.
So, I did the math & it’s roughly $167 a month. Hulu is bundled with Disney +, so I didn’t need to include it.
