what a nice change of pace, seeing you two out of the house and enjoying each other’s company on a nice sunday! thanks for the update on kaleb’s video. i anxiously await the notification.
I just love your vlogs, Kim! I feel like we’re getting to know you a little bit more and about the things you like to see and do. You’re such a sweet person and I can see how much fun you’d be to be around. Loved seeing the park - what a beautiful place! I’d be going there often to take a stroll, then sit and read or do needlework - or even just people watch - and recharge my batteries. It’s big enough that you could pick a new spot to sit every time until you find your favorites! And I’ll bet your dogs would enjoy exploring after their baths, too! It looks like an interesting collection of shops and restaurants across the street. And you just HAVE to take us with you next time you go to the dog wash! Though how you’d do that and film, too, I have no idea! On second thought, that actually sounds impossible without extra equipment... Great job, Kim! Keep on sharing with us and we’ll keep watching! I think you’ve discovered a hidden talent! 💕
@@secondempirestrikesbackvlo2578 I love it. Much love to you and Caleb. Your doing a great job on the house by the way. Hard exhausting work but your passion and dedication shines through. It will all be worth it in the end. Best of luck to you both xx ❤️
Holy smokes, when I subscribed last week, I was number 83, now you have 1,000! Congrats!! Love watching your vlogs Kim, especially when you take us shopping with you.
What a neat park it seems like the further east you go the better the parks are.. We live in California so with newer parks we don't have much more than grass and playground equipment, there are exceptions. Nice video th a nks for taking us along.
You are living in a beautiful area. It sounds so magical, buying that house and making it Old/New again. Reviving the area, and having that park right there. Even the buildings where all the shops are, are old and lovely. Thank you for showing us.
Kim the area that you are in is so nice that they have the older houses. Kaleb I think everyone can wait for the new video since you make them so interesting to see.
Love Lafayette Square! We go to Four Muddy Paws a lot for our doggo and cat, and Park Ave Coffee is great, especially since they have gooey butter cake! There's one house out there, the grey and black one that's our favorite 🙂💜
Thanks for taking us for a stroll through your town. You have some amazing buildings and the gardens are beautiful.. Great to see you also have a community garden space.. Nice to hear you discussing plans and ideas over a cup of coffee..☕️👫
He was a bit stressed. He was sick a good portion of the week and because of that had very little house restoration content (that's the stress part). He's fine though now and back working on the house.
When i was watching this I thought Kaleb looks a bit down as he seemed to be somewhere else. After watching todays 2nd empire vlog i can see why. Don't let the trolls get you down, these people are not worth wasting your time on, they have nothing better to do in their lives that to pull other people down. you both are doing a great job, no one said it was gonna be easy, you'll have days when you think "why do I bother" and days when things are going great but the pair of you will get there in the end. stick with it Kim and Kaleb and as me Mam used to say " it all comes out in the wash in the end ". :-)
You two are hard working couple, love the town I've been there in the past so much to see so much to do, you two keep doing what you think is best, and Kim keep Celeb on his toes if he tired let him relaxed, lol but then back to work. Take care 😊✌️
Thank you for showing us the shops, the community garden and that beautiful park. Was that a cardinal singing in the background? I’m going to forward a link to this video to my son and daughter-in-law who moved a year ago from Germany to a nice home across the river in Illinois. I would love to see you and your dog at the Dog Wash! Never heard of that. 🤣 Your vlog looks great filmed from your phone so make it easy on yourself because the editing process seems to stress a lot of RUclipsrs.
Love Lafayette buildings and of course the Park. Reminds me of entrance of LA’s Disneyland but of course Lafayette is the real deal. Great Vlog and sweet couple talk.
Oh my goodness you just gave me a great idea!! I need to go up to Marceline which is where Walt Disney grew up. It’s only like 4 hours away. Main Street USA was based on the Main Street there.
Mother and I, and a friend, Mrs Frances Gamblin( decease), went on Lafayette Square Tours in June, during the 1980's and 90's. I'm disappointed that the bandstand still has not been reconstructed. What happened to all the donations?
Beautiful vlog! Please make more videos like this! Is it expensive to live there? How we can live there? Is it only by buying a house or does the rental exists? Thank youuu
St. Louis has such pretty parks. I don't know how many people outside of there know that. Yesterday was a really nice day, and I'm glad the two of you were out enjoying it. Also, when the time comes that you get an espresso machine, you and Kaleb should dress in high Victorian fashion and do some goofy upper crust video introducing it.
Marburg in Hessen. Ive been there about 5 or so times over the years for a month to 3 months each time. The 3 month one i worked with my best friends father to repaint/ restore a 1980s carrousel which was an interesting experience.
@@The2ndEmpireStrikesBack Ah. Interesting. I‘ve been to Frankfurt once, but otherwise I don‘t really know Hessen. I‘m from Niedersachen and live more or less close to the coast. :)
Ive been in a few. When i was staying in Marburg my buddies flat was in an apartment building from the mid 1800s i think. The bar we would go to was in the cellar of an 800 year old building. I know the city is somewhat famous for the St. Elizabeth Church which i was told was the inspiration for the Köln Dom. I ve in many homes but because they were friends homes or friends of friends homes i never really asked the age of any of them. I miss Germany. I cant wait to go back. ill need to brush up on my german again though.
If you want a great espresso machine just get a nespresso one (with the original capsules though, the 3rd party one are usually garbage and will damage the machine)
That sounds cool but those pods are so wasteful! Also I’ve had a keurig before and the water went through so quickly the coffee always seemed watered down. I’ve worked at places where I had to use an espresso machine so I know how to do it. They’re just a little pricey but it’s something we’re willing to splurge on.
I million bucks to buy and live in a funeral home? That place must be crawlin with ghosts just waiting to scare the pants off any would be buyers! And I ain't gonna be one of them!
Haircut and trimmed beard; looking great, Kaleb! (Kudos to Kim!) Love the new shirt!
Kaleb seems a little tired, hope he’s ok….
He’s extra stressed about tomorrow’s video. He’s doing a lot of research and editing. That’s definitely been on his mind all day.
@@secondempirestrikesbackvlo2578 Give him a hug for me!
Going right now!

Nice! I hope Kaleb's not too stressed. He seemed a bit annoyed/stressed/something. Maybe he needs a hug.
He doin ok. He seemed normal to me today but I know he’s got a lot on his mind.
Great channel Kim, so interesting. Nice to see what u get up to as well as doing the house. Thanks for sharing darling. Lisa x ❤️

Nice tour Kim. I loved the park. It reminded me of home. Caleb looked nice with his haircut and merch. See ya next time.
Definitely watch his video when it comes out he filmed more of the park than I did. I didn’t want to overlap content. Thank you for watching!

Thanks for the tour. It was a cute video. Please show us more of st louis. Thanks
Kim the area that you are in is so nice that they have the older houses. Kaleb I think everyone can wait for the new video since you make them so interesting to see.
The park reminds me a lot of Wright Park in Tacoma, WA built in 1886. Hope you two had fun. Thanks for taking us along!
I love your vlog Kim. I’d like to visit St. Louis one day. But in the meantime I’m enjoying the virtual tours from the comfort of my bed in Florida!
Thanks for the video :) love that you show a lot of the surrounding area! The park is beautiful! .. Caleb looks exhausted!
He might not be into coffee but I can’t wait to see you get your fancy espresso machine one day!!

Thanks for the video, I have never been to St Louis. It must have been a very beautiful city. Terrible lots of the old houses are gone.
Nice tagging along and seeing more of your area! But Kaleb looks miserable or stressed. Hang in there guys. 🙂

Great to see you guys walking the square. Kim I love your Dauphin Island shirt. So pretty. Nice video. Thanks!

One always needs an espresso machine. Though to have a coffee shop within walking distance of home - well, that's just freaking wonderful!
Great little town. I thought community gardens were long gone. Espresso is a must for me! Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on your new channel. I'm really enjoying your vlogs:))
Good job! Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to future episodes!
Great video Kim. Your area is really nice. Love the business section and that park was amazing
Just ordered my T-shirt! Thanks for bringing us along on your walk today.

The dogs are going to be so mad when they find out you went to the park without them.
Civil Court Building with the pyramid/temple on top is my favorite building.
Same!
“Park Avenue” what an American sounding name. 😄 It’s a very pretty town, I love that fountain.

🤷♀️ I had no idea people donated for that to be rebuilt. Seems a little sketchy, huh?
Keep it up 👍👍👍
