Simple Analogy: Ghanaians should compare and contrast the sustainable deeds of Dr Kwame Nkrumah & his party as well as The military leaders: Major General (can't recall their ranks) Kotoka, K Afrifa and their coup team.
If no sustainable deeds are recorded on any of the group's, alter the name of the Airport to Osagyefo Dr K Nkrumah Airport. All support people who climb good fruitful trees, "Sankofa".

Point of correction though....Some of the pictures (the first two I think, in this video ) are not of General E K Kotoka for whom the airport was named but rather another co-conspirator Lt-General Joseph Arthur Ankrah who became Head of state and Chairman of the National Liberation Council after the 24 February 1966 coup from 1966 to 1969. Notwithstanding this was an educative video

I think it will be very fitting to change the name of the airport. It means no good to remain as it is seeing how painful and regretting it is to revisit what took place in 1966. It has destroyed the future of generations of Ghanaians. For a fact.

Get your facts right. The UGCC was initiated by Paa Grant in Saltpond and brought together, JB Danquah and others. Paa Grant is not mentioned much in history and not included in the 'Big 6' because, Paa Grant was a business man and didn't have the skillset nor the political expertise hence, letting JB Danquah and others lead the way. Also, the UGCC was never a political party, in fact, it was set up as a movement for the fight for independence. The CPP was actually the first real political part. I will leave things here for not...We can continue this conversation another time, if necessary 🙏

Your narrative has so many incorrect assertions ie., the UGCC was formed by Pa Grant. It was Pa Grant on the suggestion of Ako Adjei who invited Nkrumah and paid for Nkrumah’s passage to the Gold Coast.

J.B Danquah didn't invite kwame Nkrumah, it was George Alfred Grant ( Paa Grant) who invited Nkrumah.
Paa Grant founded UGCC. Arko Adjei invited Nkrumah to join the UGCC.

It was the saddest and the most unfortunate day when the Ghana Airport was named after Kotoka due to the euphoria that accompanied Osagyefo's overthrow.
