Here I am enjoying your insightful video which completely shifts my narrative what college means after getting rejected from a university which I'm not sure I am willing to go! This is superb❤!
I'm not planning to study in LSE and just saw this video in my homepage but can I just say amazing video dear. The quality of your camera and editing is crazy good!
Damn, I studied my undergraduate at LSE. And I can echo that EVERYTHING here is absolutely true. But this is also why I love LSE - so many wrong turns and unexpected growth and self discovery. Defo a good vid for incoming LSE students
I did not take QMRM but I did take a few advanced statistics courses. Quantitative modules are usually very structured; they give you a course pack at the beginning of the year and everything is in there. I’d say, definitely find some friends to do homework with, it’s super efficient, boosts everybody’s performance and it’s much more enjoyable! 🤗
Also, don't skip a class! Or at least make sure to catch up on the materials if you do, these quant classes are so linear it's hard to understand a thing without the previous information! Remember to have fun 🫶
Thank you for making this, there were some really thoughtful points. I am applying to lse this year, albeit for an undergrad degree. would you say there are similarities between the undergrad and grad school experience at lse (wrt the workload and social life given that it is so closely integrated with the city)? ps; i love the cinematics here, it makes the campus look very enticing
I heard experiences are more diverse at the undergrad level, simply because you have more time to “spread” all your activities across a few years. Sports and societies are definitely a lot more catered to undergrads - grad students usually join job market related clubs and it’s a lot less fun! Undergrads usually live in one of the LSE residences for the first year then move in with friends the following years, which is really the best of both worlds. Enjoy!
Turned into a BBC presenter for this one!
Love your videos! The production quality is excellent, and the frames you’ve chosen are fantastic.

Rejection is always to prepare you for something greater!
