I came from the Fold3 to Ultra 23...I can't say I miss the fold. The fold is an amazing phone, but I spent most of my time using the front screen and I honestly got tired of the weight, so it made sense when given the opportunity I decided to go with the Ultra. I love it just as much as I loved the Fold when I first got it. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I'm really enjoying the Ultra.
I have a Fold 3 Still because the 4 did not justify an upgrade and I almost never use the outer display. My only complaint with a Fold is that it does not mount on my bike or car very easily when on the move. It will be hard to go back to a regular size phone to be honest. If you did not open it up it made sense for you to get rid of it for sure. The S23 looks like a Note Ultra light so that is out of the question . Hopefully the ZFold 5 offers a smaller pen that fits inside and works like a Note.
For me after first using the fold 3 & now the fold 4, I realize I can never go to a regular phone again because of the ability to watch RUclips or movies. I mean it's like I'm watching on a mini TV
Yeah, i feel like i use the top screen more often and especiall in bed, a bigger front screen would do better for me. I might just get whatever next ultra is released in august 2023 when im done paying my fold
Currently have the fold 4--- will try the s23 ultra--- I figured when I want a massive screen to watch movies or RUclips on the go--- I just USB-C connect the phone to a portable monitor costing only another 80$..... 16 inch screen can be brought anywhere--- and when on the go--- not having to compromise with a much larger main screen with the s23 ultra vs the slim screen on the fold 4--- 🎉
Update: after about half a day of use. While the ultra is amazing. The z fold 4 does indeed feel better watching movies is just way more immersive. Reading way more immersive. Split screen still kinda sucks on the ultra because it's too small. Split screen on the fold is like two phones. No competition. S pen use is also way better on the fold due to the large canvas. My movies are significant larger than the ultra. I do like the higher res on the ultra and the good aspect ratio for all content. But for everything else z fold 4. Even the cameras. You really don't notice huge differences unless you compare. Z fold 4 right now. But might change as I use it more. Shall see. Thanks
@@treblemix_ but why? It's the full size. It just has black bars. And when you don't use those specific apps or what not. Things are almost full screen. Like RUclips is a lot larger video than the s23 ultra
Using ZF3 since it is released and am amazed with it every day. It's such a great device, and I can't stop appreciating it. I reduced my usage of tablet and PC since I can complete most of the things with it (signing documents, reading docs, editing photos using light room etc). I don't think I can move back to slab phone. Very excited for ZF5.
i had the same problem. watched many videos comparing the two and ended up buying the S23 Ultra. Only because of the camera and the possibilities of damgage in the hinges of the Fold 4. Do I have any regrets buying the S23U? No. But i still watch these comparison vids almost every other day to see if I had made the right decision. lmao
I might've considered trading in my Z4 for the S23U, except Samsung got comparatively cheap on the incentives this time around. When I bought the Z4 (on release day) they offered $1K for the S22U, Z3, and even the Z2, along with a second-device trade-in and generous store credits toward the watch & buds combo. For the S23U, they only offered $750 for my Z4 (!!!), no second trade-in, and less store credit. That's a hard pass for me and a hugely disappointing low-ball insult to their Z4, which I enjoy quite a bit. It's easier to hold while folded, which is how I use it most of the time, and it's still plenty powerful for all I do. My two wishes would be having the external display be pen-capable and a spot to store the pen, even if it means bumping up the width.
Long time iPhone user here. I switched my iPhone 14 pro max with this Samsung fold 4, first time ever using a android phone, i give it a try, took me almost like 4 full days to figure it out, and still learning something new once in a while, love this phone, i don't see myself going back to iPhone ever.
Im switching from a Zfold3 to an S23 Ultra later today. I loved my fold, I was incredibly excited when I first got it. I still love the fold, but im ready for a regular phone again. I dont do tons of work on my phone, so unfolded was basically for videos and games. While I did love streaming on the fold, most videos have black bars. So its like im watching on a horizontal screen anyway. The weight of the fold does get annoying. Anytime I was on an app that wasnt video or gaming related, I was on the front screen. So im just ready to go back to 1 screen.
As a user of the S23U, I'm certainly happy with my purchase. I returned my S22U (purchased on sale just before the S23 release) and I truly enjoy the upgrades and this phone. This mostly has to do with the processor. I heard about the difference with the 8Gen1 and 8+Gen1 after the switch to TSMC (sorry if I got the acronym wrong). I knew that the 8Gen2 would be a beast. I underestimated the actual difference that the processor would make. I guess my only complaint is the name. It's a Note 23. They should've simply changed the release schedule. I am very happy with my N23.
And before I'm labeled as a fanboy....I'm not. I've only now grown a liking to One UI. There's just a few things that I really enjoy (like the floating bubbles and the SPen), and those are features that I use a lot. A LOT.
Yeah I agree. Haven't bought a flagship in years since I feel like there hasn't really been a point. Been mostly sticking with the midrange phones but I am so glad I chose now to get back into the flagship market. My favorite thing so far has been the emulation capabilities. Waiting for my backbone controller to arrive so I can truly dive in.
They probably wanted to get away with Note label (specially S7 Note is forever connected with it), with having 3 type of S flagships it’s good time to retire it with the 10.
I've been struggling with this exact thing myself, thank you for making this video! I have an S22 Ultra which I like but I did really want the Fold. The reason I didn't get it is because I was living in CA and tended to end up at the beach a lot so I was concerned about messing the fold up with sand. I still want it and am not living in CA currently so I'm reconsidering... I like how quickly my S22 charges and how long my battery lasts which I think would be even better on the S23. I have an iPad mini which I use as my handheld tablet but honestly I find myself using my phone more. If my phone could truly replace my tablet I'd sell it. I have an iPad Pro that I use for bigger projects/drawing/notebooks but having something handheld for reading, videos, and multitasking is great. I wish I could rent a Fold to see how I like it. I've played with it briefly when friends have one but couldn't get the full experience that way. The pen situation for the Fold sucks for me, as I love the built-in. I am also obsessed with my PopWallet as it's easy to hold my phone and fits my license and CC so that's all I have to bring with me. Easy and slim profile. I don't see a great case option where I could have the pen and the PopWallet which is kind of a deal breaker even though it makes me sad. This video is making me really tempted to go for the Fold but I might wait to see if they ever integrate the pen. I'd like to see that, a bigger external screen, and faster charging. Thanks again :)
Do not get the fold the screen will split down the middle I just opened it and it cracked samsung says its not covered under the warranty which socks as this is a common problem which many people have been left with a phone they cannot use anymore samsung suck !!
I took a hard look at both. The Fold4 was too heavy and too costly for the end benefit. Went with the S23U. If the Fold5 thins down, trims some weight, and finds an alternative hinge design (teardrop?) I will be back to reconsider.
Definitely went with the S23 Ultra. I was going to go with the Z Fold 4 based on it being different, interesting, and intriguing look. I've never had a phone with so much productivity power to it. But what drew me toward the S23 ultra was the battery, its performance, and its esthetics looks. It's beautiful! 🐬
I'm surprised you make this sound like a hard choice. I used the Fold 4 for 4mo. I downgraded to a used S22 Ultra. Here are my thoughts: Fingerprint scanning is a non issue. On the Fold 4 it's at a good location (on the power button) and feels intuitive to use. But the in display scanner on the Ultra is fine. Despite my S22 Ultra being 1yr old, it still easily gets me through one day on a single charge. I could never do that on the Fold 4. The downside about the Fold 4 running out of battery so fast is that it has slow charging! This thing charges sooooo slow. My S22 Ultra has fast charging and I freaking love it. The S22 Ultra has 10x optical zoom while the Fold 4 is stuck at 3x optical. I use the 10x a lot. So the S22 Camera wins here easily. Yeah the Fold 4 has a big folding display. But do you really need it? I have found that I can easily live without it. But it does depend on your needs. If you use it to take notes in college, then it's cool. It's also cool for multitasking and for entertainment. But are these benefits worth the the downsides? Depends on your needs. For me the answer was "no." A downside to the Fold is that it has a narrow front display. I actually dislike this a lot. I found that I was unfolding it more than I really needed to because I was sick of the narrow front display. Makes it hard to text. They should have made it shorter and wider like the Pixel Fold. The crease is a non issue. Don't even think about it. But is the screen durable enough to last years folding and unfolding? Time will tell. Given the price of the Fold line they really need to boost it up a bit. They need to add AT LEAST ONE feature from the Ultra lineup: fast charging, 10x optical zoom or bigger battery. Or all three! If you can't do a bigger battery (size constraints) than give us fast charging as to be able to top it off quickly. It charges sooooo slow. And throw in the 10x optical. They are being too conservative because they don't want it to outshine the Ultra lineup. But this is silly. It's a super expensive phone few will buy. So why does it matter if it completely outshines the Ultra lineup? Samsung is weird. Anyway, the Ultra easily wins in this comparison. For now.
For the speaker test, you had the phones standing up, so you're blocking the sound from the bottom speaker. I have a Fold 3 and the speakers sound much more louder and fuller than my sister's S23U so unless they downgraded the speakers on the Fold 4, something's not right.
Interested in the fold 5 but I'm hearing it's not that big a jump... Especially on camera. I'm using the s21 ultra still. I really want a fold, but I want it to be better than what I currently got in all aspects.
Samsung is holding back on making their foldable phone better than the galaxy ultra devices, which is preventing many of us to buy into their foldable devices
Just got a fold 4 from a iphone 13, had to choose between the 23 utlra and the fold 4 but for me im big into gaming and watching movies and the fold when unfolded is awesome for watching netflix etc and for gaming when i use my xbox game pass and contoller ive basically got a mini xbox lol so happy with this phone and will be getting the next fold for sure
I'm still rocking my z fold 2. Love the phone and the fact that I don't see many people with it is one of the best features. Its like having a tablet when you need it but with a smaller footprint.
It's always a nice conversation starter at times too I've found. I have a Flip and people approach me pretty often about it. Which is cool if you like to be social and find other techies.
Ive just swapped from the fold 4 to the s23 ultra had the fold only a couple of months and for me its the camera quality. No comparison the ultra is awesome compared to the fold also i found that when watching videos on the fold unless you zoom to full screen where you lose a lot of the picture the screen size is no different the fold has two massive black lines above and below
Same. Been thinking about this it's so annoying with the battery life also and I do business with the fold 4 it's been great but honestly hate charging this thing 3 times a Day like it's on life support
I´ve had my fold 4 for some months now and I must say, It for sure doesn´t disappoint. However, you do have to keep it nice and clean and be very cautious with it, nevertheless as a person who likes to take care of his stuff it´s not an issue for me :)
@@pepperidgedave if its closed its fine. While closed its extremely durable, maybe even more durable than a regular phone since it is basically two "durable" metal slabs holding together. It's fragile when its open. The only thing fragile about the fold is the inner screen itself. The hinge is extremely strong, and so is the rest of the phone. If you protect the inner screen itself, everything is fine
@@azenyr i still haven't put a screen protector on the steam deck and it's really dirty with no noticeble cracks. If i get the fold im prob going for the warranty like he said. Steam deck was 650. This is 1800
Within 6 months of having the fold 4 the crease cracked. It's been fixed but I find that as a weak spot. Of it happens again I'm going back to the ultra. Or pixel 8 pro in Oct.
Video quality is good. I just have 2 suggestions for you. 1> Try to reduce echo in your studio. 2> Please set Bass in correct way. Not sure about others , but for me , audio was disturbing and yes this I am telling you after the adjusting my Vocal EQ and Low end EQ so.
I play games watch movies and use kindle a lot. Fold 4 is an absolute beast for media n content consumption. Camera is pretty good but lacks zoom upto 100x . S23 can charge in 50 minutes while fold 4 takes 80 minutes to charge. So its up to individual what they choose . Better camera and fast charging is the main criteria go for s23 ultra. Media consumption, gaming, reading and multi tasking is the criteria go for fold 4 its very durable and its folding ability makes it unique and eye catching ..
I couldn't decide so I bought both :/... I love the fold 4 but after a while I just got tired of opening it up allll the time. If I had to get rid of one it would be the fold. S 23 ultra provides the wider comfortable feel compared to fold 4s outer screen and most of all I've lost my spen for the fold 4, and s23 ultra is a Note in every way. Only way I get another fold is if they include the s pen like the s23 ultra. Ultra wins hands down
Nice combo. I also decided to stay with the Z Fold4 since the S23 Ultra lacked expandable memory. If we have to move away from expandable memory, I might as well move on to a foldable and other phones.
Great comparison bro. I know you mentioned that eventually you stop noticing the crease on the Fold 4 after long time use. But does it get in the way when you're doodling? I like the idea of creating art on my phone and Fold 4 looks perfect for doing art thanks to the bigger screen. But I'm worried about the crease.
I've been using my Fold 3 since about a year now and I don't see myself going back to a normal phone. There are lots of different little things that you can do with this formfactor that you'd never even think about if you had a normal phone. The inner screen is very fragile tho and has received some damage. The only thing I dont like about The fold 3 is the rather bad camera module.
I was 56 years old when i walked into best buy and unfolded the fold out into tablet, still one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I purchased it on the spot and wouldn't even think about going back to a candybar phone. You cannot spend a couple of grand and get anything like this on earth. How people can put it down is beyond me. Is it perfect, nothing is but it's getting better
Just remember when you are notnusing the inner screen it is protected.......as the phone is closed. Honestly when you get the zfold4 out of the box you just can't stop smiling as the quality coolness usability compact BUT huge inner screen.....it is a perfect tool.
It is a hard choice so i have both. When i am traveling or going to be away fom a charger all day i take the s23ultra for the camera and battery life. Otherwise the fold 4.
I'm still holding onto my Galaxy Note 9 that stopped receiving updates in 10/22 😁. I love this phone, but with the growth of my businesses and traveling, it's time to upgrade and I believe you just made my decision that much easier. Looks like the Z Fold 4 for the win. And the Fold 5 is not far around the corner
ohh yeah man I got Note20Ultra thinking of S23U or Fold 5 since it's like 2 months till release :D ( to be fair was waiting for folds to get a bit more refurbished/less prone to damages... Z5 sounds like good enough )
well since I'm not in biggest rush in the world phone works normaly (funny enough only keys I never use the ones for volume are half dead ... for some reason it seems like dust or something got under keys idk why and how since I have it in case since day 1) I'm probably just gonna wait those 2 months for Fold 5 than decide .
If i am going to use a phone in normal design, it is definitely going to be an iPhone. If i choose Android over the iOS, then the device has to provide something spectacular... so between two of the phones, there is only one winner in my use case. I gave s23 ultra a try, but only after two days i just got back to fold 4... now i can only wish better battery life & cameras on the upcoming fold 5. 🍑
I am in a similar situation. I have the Z Fold4 and it is my favorite phone so far. I also have the Note20 Ultra and it might be my last Galaxy flagship.
i really like ZF4 but im the guy who uses his devices for years im still having my iphone 6s for my other sim and it works just fine but considering that there is a count on folding and unfolding it and the battery life is important for me im going with the S23U
Every mechanical part has a count until it begins to feel old. The sidebuttons on every phone do too or every laptop. The question is if the number offers you enough years of use and the fold does.
One of the primary use cases of folding phones is to open it out and watch video content in its full glory. Yet no manufacturer has worked out that the square screen with hideous black bars is not the best way to do this.
I have the z3 fold and now i have a white light line going across my screen and it is only a year and a half . I am about to have to go buy a new one today . Just trying to see what i should do
Can you do a video on the best dual sim phones? I carry two phones one for work and one for personal. I’ve used a dual sim phone before and found that the sims jam like texts or calls sometimes won’t come through.
One question I have about the fold 4. You mentioned that some apps are not optimised for it. Is that just for the inside screen only? Would an app (game) that isn't run fine on the front screen?
Lemme answer this since I jumped from using a fold3 since release to the S23 ultra a week back - it's for both screens. The outer display is too narrow, and the inner display is of course wide, so if an app isn't configured to 'fit' the screen it'll either be slightly cut off on the sides for the outer display, OR you'll either be too zoomed in / have to choose to have black bars on the inner display. Not a lot of apps are bad for it though, and almost all games I tried were fine either way. As an example, Instagram would cut off some photos/reels on the outer display. and I found the inner display was generally too zoomed in for insta and twitter, so I'd opt for black bars or I'll have it display 2 apps at once instead. Also keep in mind that most video content outputs at 16:9-ish, which perfectly fits the s23 screen, but it sits in the middle of the fold with 2 black bars, and a crease running through it (which you do get used to). I love the foldable concept but I don't think I'll revisit it until we get a version that has a regular phone screen on the outside, and a 16:9 display on the inside (which I think the OPPO foldable has in terms of screen ratios, just not available outside of China), thinner, lighter, a better battery and absolutely no crease.
@@m.o.x.d hey! Thank you for your reply. After reading what you have said I think I will also wait untill there is a "better" version of the fold phones that we can can get. I currently have a note 10+ so the SW2 ultra will be a very nice jump. Thanks again!

I wish i watched this video sooner. Im about to trade my fold4 for the s23 ultra. Its an awesome phone but i dont use the fold option much. It has dual speaker play options i just learned about too. You can set up bluetooth speakers or whatever to play music. And you can have it play from all of them at the same time. Im not sure how many. I know at least 2 though. And i didnt know the fingerprint scanner was on the side this whole time... because it said open the device to set it i always thought it was inside the phone. Its not able to be used one handed that easy. Especially when open and the s pen only works inside the phone. I hope the s23 ultra has good features. I want a better camera that shows good details when zoomed specifically, and good speakers if my car speakers dont work. The s9+ speakers were great when that phone came out. Hopefully the new phones speakers will be better.
I loved my fold 3 but the size was too much. The thickness in my pocket was super annoying so I switched to the flip 4 when it came out. I love the flip but its battery is not great. Often 25% or less by 6pm which is rough when I have plans for the evening. I'm really considering the Ultra now since the battery is top notch and I can handle a large device that isn't super thick.
Even though the zfold 4 has slightly larger canvas, I prefer the spen inside the phone just because I like to put any cases on my mobile and don't want to be limited to specific case, it makes the phone more bulky and u have to sacrifice like for example u can't have spen, mag safe and a kick stand funtionality all together just because that extra space for spen makes it impossible
If you can, just get both thats what I do, I have s23 ultra and fold 4, whenever I will be out of home for the whole day, I'll take the S23, whenever I have exectutive business meeting I'll take the fold 4, same with the cars my everyday its a Hyundai IONIQ 5 buy whenever I have a meeting I use my Genesis G80.
I've been using the Z Fold 4 almost since launch, I love the phone no doubt but I feel it is fragile, I have seen tons of comments on Facebook, Quora, and Reddit about it being fragile, and I'm strongly contemplating switching mine to the S23 Ultra, at least for more durability, since I typically love to use my phone for at least 2 years. I fear the Fold 4 might not last me 2 years without having the dreaded inner screen problem that is beginning to seem common, regardless, it is a unique, and beautiful phone.
No need to worry 'bout it. Bought my Fold4 on pre-sale, am using it since and have no issues, even though my 3y old daughter is using it for watching cartoons or playing simple games ;) It's not fragile at all, not worse than any other phone I've been using. Dropped it multiple times and no cracks whatsoever ;) I didn't even have to replace inner screen protector yet, even though it's possible for free :D Had S23 Ultra and I still like Fold4 better, but I don't mind a slightly weaker camera. Don't feel like missing out a lot in that department, while multitasking is waaaay better on fold :)
I'm having the same issue now, at 1st I thought fold 4 was the best phone but after some dust managed to get into the folding hinge n fucked up I am now seriously considering changing to s23ultra. Though I managed to get it fixed for free due to samsung care but the fact that it happen means the possibility of it happening again is there...
@maciej8830 both me and my partners fold 4 had got the black screen of death in just 3 months...verry disappointed.. although samsung did replacements..
@SlowRkers I forgot I even made this comment. I finally caved in and switched to the S23 Ultra and it's a way better device in every field. I like the fold but I'm not going back till the front screen becomes a little wider, folds flat, has dust resistance, more durable, and decent camera. The S23 Ultra is really a premium device, and hands down the best phone I've ever used.
At the end which one should i go with ?? I always watch comparisons but i still cannot decide which one to buy z fold 4 or s23 ultra ?? I am going to lose my mind rnd still stuck to my old phone because i cannot make a choice between them 🤷🏻♂️

My two wishes would be having the external display be pen-capable and a spot to store the pen, even if it means bumping up the width.
I traded in an A32 and got 800 bucks at Verizon.
Damn yall have crazy deals in the US
Yup, Samsung plays dirty this time with Z4 trade in. Ridiculous
I’m about to do exact same thing
Did you get used or new fold 4?
@@aarsylmy only concern is the spen. It makes the phone thick. The fold should have the pen not the s lineup. I love drawing but not at that scale.
If u get the fold definitely will be a downgrade on the camera
Galaxy Z Folder 5 is then your go to, it ‘s both phones in one 😊
Get the case that holds the spen on the fold, and done!!
Do not get the fold the screen will split down the middle I just opened it and it cracked samsung says its not covered under the warranty which socks as this is a common problem which many people have been left with a phone they cannot use anymore samsung suck !!
@@ButleybadboyFreaking, for how long had you been using the phone?
Man, I watched this video, learned so much, and still can't decide
I took a hard look at both. The Fold4 was too heavy and too costly for the end benefit. Went with the S23U. If the Fold5 thins down, trims some weight, and finds an alternative hinge design (teardrop?) I will be back to reconsider.
zf5 leaks are out with a new hinge and less weight -- what are ur thoughts?
Definitely went with the S23 Ultra. I was going to go with the Z Fold 4 based on it being different, interesting, and intriguing look. I've never had a phone with so much productivity power to it. But what drew me toward the S23 ultra was the battery, its performance, and its esthetics looks. It's beautiful! 🐬
I'm surprised you make this sound like a hard choice. I used the Fold 4 for 4mo. I downgraded to a used S22 Ultra. Here are my thoughts:
Fingerprint scanning is a non issue.
For me the answer was "no."
A downside to the Fold is that it has a narrow front display.
For now.
The pictures at 10:41, did u switch em around? Cuz Zfold4 looks way better at zoom.
For the speaker test, you had the phones standing up, so you're blocking the sound from the bottom speaker.
I have a Fold 3 and the speakers sound much more louder and fuller than my sister's S23U so unless they downgraded the speakers on the Fold 4, something's not right.
Well spotted ;) Had them both, and fold4 sounds better than 23 Ultra IMHO, but the difference is not a deal breaker ;)
10:37 Did you accidentally swap the pictures?
Z Fold 4 looks better than S23 Ultra.
Yeah
I BOUGHT 4 SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD PHONES AND ALL 4 HAD COMPLAINTS WHEN I UPDATED THE SOFTWARE AND ONE COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING.
That's my issue with the zf4 is the camera....think I might trade in for the s23 ultra
Same. Been thinking about this it's so annoying with the battery life also and I do business with the fold 4 it's been great but honestly hate charging this thing 3 times a Day like it's on life support
@JAMES Elliot Go through settings
I have 🤗
okay my fold 4 is dead lol. The inner screen has a massive black line in the middle WTF!
I´ve had my fold 4 for some months now and I must say, It for sure doesn´t disappoint. However, you do have to keep it nice and clean and be very cautious with it, nevertheless as a person who likes to take care of his stuff it´s not an issue for me :)
💯💯
Can you sit down with it in your back pocket
@@pepperidgedave if its closed its fine. While closed its extremely durable, maybe even more durable than a regular phone since it is basically two "durable" metal slabs holding together. It's fragile when its open. The only thing fragile about the fold is the inner screen itself. The hinge is extremely strong, and so is the rest of the phone. If you protect the inner screen itself, everything is fine
@@azenyr i still haven't put a screen protector on the steam deck and it's really dirty with no noticeble cracks. If i get the fold im prob going for the warranty like he said. Steam deck was 650. This is 1800
Coming from iPhone to s23 ultra I'm so happy with it but never put attention to the fold 4 until I have the s23 ultra and now I kind of want it 😂😂
S23U does everything better becides the large size of the inner display...litterally everything else is a downgrade...
🍑 Once you use a fold, it's very difficult to go back to a standard candy bar phone
Within 6 months of having the fold 4 the crease cracked. It's been fixed but I find that as a weak spot. Of it happens again I'm going back to the ultra. Or pixel 8 pro in Oct.
I love the device, but I feel like it's a ticking timebomb.
Can go for pixel 7A, a cheaper version of Pixel 7 and same features in almost every aspect
Ultra wins hands down
Iphone 14 pro for work and z fold 4 as personal use for me xD I had to try s23 ultra i almost traded my fold 4, but z fold 4 wins for me.
Nice combo. I also decided to stay with the Z Fold4 since the S23 Ultra lacked expandable memory. If we have to move away from expandable memory, I might as well move on to a foldable and other phones.
Great timing. Just got my s23 ultra today. Phone is super snappy. Impressive
The Fold 4 is an amazing phone, I can't wait for the release of the Fold 5!
Yeah it' does sort of get in the way when doodling
@@RjeyTech got it, thanks man
I've been using my Fold 3 since about a year now and I don't see myself going back to a normal phone.
Title be like s23 ultra vs fold 4
Me : get me the fuckin money first 😬
😂
Is watching youtube on fold 4 look larger than on the S23 Ultra? Judging from the aspect ratio, it doesn't look like there'd be a big difference.
You can also open a floating window, which for me works great for quick notes or calculations
You can't go wrong with either. I'm lucky to have both for work. Samsung has made some amazing devices. Nice review rjey.
Since the s23u launch can’t decide between those 2 phones. Biggest concern with fold 4 is the screen durability, just hard decision
Just remember when you are notnusing the inner screen it is protected.......as the phone is closed. Honestly when you get the zfold4 out of the box you just can't stop smiling as the quality coolness usability compact BUT huge inner screen.....it is a perfect tool.
S23U is better at everything...
Can't go wrong with either. Both are great
It is a hard choice so i have both. When i am traveling or going to be away fom a charger all day i take the s23ultra for the camera and battery life. Otherwise the fold 4.
Dammit I was indeed looking at my nose! Here's your new subscriber! Great review brother
What's the icon pack on the Ultra at 4:04 ??
This was extremely helpful. I was a repeat buyer of the Samsung Note prior to purchasing the Z Fold 4. I will be getting the S23 Ultra now.
Decisions Decisions Decisions
My wallet: Not for you buddy
I'm still holding onto my Galaxy Note 9 that stopped receiving updates in 10/22 😁. I love this phone, but with the growth of my businesses and traveling, it's time to upgrade and I believe you just made my decision that much easier. Looks like the Z Fold 4 for the win. And the Fold 5 is not far around the corner
ohh yeah man I got Note20Ultra thinking of S23U or Fold 5 since it's like 2 months till release :D ( to be fair was waiting for folds to get a bit more refurbished/less prone to damages... Z5 sounds like good enough )
@@zvonkokroflin216 I ended up getting a Fold 4 with a military grade case. So far so good.
well since I'm not in biggest rush in the world phone works normaly (funny enough only keys I never use the ones for volume are half dead ... for some reason it seems like dust or something got under keys idk why and how since I have it in case since day 1) I'm probably just gonna wait those 2 months for Fold 5 than decide .
Really 23ultra vs fold4 fold4 all day! I would pick the fold4 over iPhone 15 pro yes I said it iPhone15pro and it’s not even out yet!
Thanks for the video. Does every game from Google Play fit the screen size?
I’m just curious day to day do you use your phones with cases are not? Especially the Z Fold?
i really like ZF4 but im the guy who uses his devices for years im still having my iphone 6s for my other sim and it works just fine but considering that there is a count on folding and unfolding it and the battery life is important for me im going with the S23U
Every mechanical part has a count until it begins to feel old. The sidebuttons on every phone do too or every laptop. The question is if the number offers you enough years of use and the fold does.
What background wallpapers are you using on the phones
I want link for the wallpapers that you used in 2 phones please 🙏
Great video thanks to you Rjey 😊
10:38 which one is s23 ultra?
Excellent comprehensive review.
Does your fold 4 make some noises of plastic being stretched whenever you unfold it?
Whats the date widget you use ? 👀
One of the primary use cases of folding phones is to open it out and watch video content in its full glory. Yet no manufacturer has worked out that the square screen with hideous black bars is not the best way to do this.
You can actually open 5 apps at the same time
Where did you get the wallpapers ?
I have the z3 fold and now i have a white light line going across my screen and it is only a year and a half . I am about to have to go buy a new one today . Just trying to see what i should do
Impressive video…btw which game is shown in this video..?
Ishtuk jugia baichung vutia
I got the galaxy s23 ultra., great phone. hopefully the Galaxy z fold 5 becomes better also.
Versatility is my style. Equinox has been my favorite warframe. She can do a little bit of everything. She can also switch between 2 warframes.
Can you do a video on the best dual sim phones? I carry two phones one for work and one for personal. I’ve used a dual sim phone before and found that the sims jam like texts or calls sometimes won’t come through.
Where can I find the background you have on the fold 4?
From an called backdrop. Search for mountains within the app
Been trying to vlog using my Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the results are superb! I really love the device.
@@UnknownLegend45 there's a leap of jump in everything from S22U to S23U. So try to get the latest one in any offer somewhere in near future than the earlier one.

I will patiently wait for your review of Z Fold 5 and ultra 23 before i decise on what to do

I think you switched the pictures at 10:38 XD
gotcha)
I loved my fold 3 but the size was too much. The thickness in my pocket was super annoying so I switched to the flip 4 when it came out. I love the flip but its battery is not great. Often 25% or less by 6pm which is rough when I have plans for the evening. I'm really considering the Ultra now since the battery is top notch and I can handle a large device that isn't super thick.
Send me your old devices, I'm tired of using bluestacks.
S23 5k mah battery. Fold5? 4400mah. Why? S23 Ultra - 200mpx with 20x optical zoom. Fold5? 3x optical zoom. Bullshit
That’s why I returned my after it came out two weeks later, I felt it was when not if it the internal screen will faulted in some way
No need to worry 'bout it.
I got both. there is no need to decide which is which.
Where can I get the wallpaper on the fold's inner screen?
Thank you for the information
I like your home screen wallpaper. Where is it from
8 to 10 hours SOT? Could you explain what the Screen On and Screen Off time hours you are getting?
I am getting 8-9 hours sot on base s23 and nearly 18-19 hours screen off time.
Where can I find those fold 4 wallpapers?
