Jimin actually won a trophy and recognition from the Korean governments cultural dept for this fan dance and acknowledgement from Japan etc .He gained a lot of recognition from all over for it.

Idol actually was made by BTS with south korean and african style mixed together hence the gwara gwara and several other korean traditional moves in the dance. The actual Idol song is a different arrangement while this one is completely re arranged in just korean traditional instruments.

With regards to the chants, there are “official” ARMY fan chants to many of their songs that ARMYs practice prior to concerts. You can look them up online. My understanding is that fan chants are typical at K-pop concerts and have grown to all worldwide ARMYs. Then there is the main chant that is the listing of their names:

I haven’t been to a concert (yet!) but love the idea of official fan chants. I love audience participation but I hate concerts where the entire crowd sings every word of every song. [cough cough Billie Eilish] Actually hearing the artist is kind of a key reason for going to a show!

Jungkook always shows off his abs always in this song if you watch from the concert in LA he kept having a wardrobe malfunction with his shirt staying buttoned it just kept popping open no matter what he did lol. So now Jungkook has a new jacket and it looks somehow better then the last one lol
Oh, btw, about the fan chants : if you pay attention, you hear Army chant it just before the beginning of the song, and it ends just as the first singer starts, never understood how they know when to start the chant, Army are magic people (yeah I’m an army but never saw them live !). And the chant goes : Kim Namjoon ! Kim Seokjin ! Min Yoongi ! Jung Hoseok ! Park Jimin ! Kim Taehyung ! Jeon Jungkook ! BTS! ( 1rst the leader, Mr President.. , then each member from the oldest to the youngest), and then during the song you can hear some BTS ! BTS ! Or some song lyrics. I really love hearing this, can’t wait for them to come back to Europe so I can go to their concert… one day…😘💜

The original song idol had afrobeat mixed with Korea traditional sound that's why they added gwara gwara and fun fact a lot of interviewers used to call it idol dance but jhope always correct them by saying no that's gwara gwara dance because he is super educated about dance that he knows the origin of each dance he used to make blogs about that with he was trainee and post them on Twitter of fancafe I don't remember

In my honest opinion you have been ARMY for a while now. Being army is not how many videos you watch, or facts you know. ARMY is a feeling. Its a sense of feeling moved by both the music they make. As well as them as individuals. You dint even have to like every single song they make. Just spread the love and kindness, and appreciation for them as artists as well as the great, funny(sometimes crackhead crazy), kind, positive and humble people they are, an be there and open for other ARMY.

They give us energy all the time. Such an amazing thing. They were on fire from start to finish. So glad you enjoyed! V's fav colors are green and grey. That is why his current mic is grey. Jimin's fav colors are blue and gold/yellow since u asked. Jimin's mic was gold until recently. It's now lilac color. In Fake Love u have to love yourself before u can love another. - J-Hope appeared with 14 performers doing the traditional drum dance which is known as Samgo-Mu dance. He had such little space to dance but was still able to pull off his dynamic dancing skills.
- Jimin doing a traditional fan dance called Buchae dance. He received an award for this fan dance performance. The Appreciation Plaque for his fan dance was awarded by the 'Kim Baek Bong Fan Dance Conservation Society,' stating that 'By having re-interpreted the beautiful Korean fan dance in a unique way, Jimin had made a great contribution in raising the status and aesthetic value of the Korean fan dance globally
- As for Jungkook, he was doing a traditional mask dance.

When all 7 of them appeared on stage, the fan chants was heard loudly and clearly. making their stage presence even bigger and epic. By the end of BTS performance, the Other idols who watched from their sitting gave BTS a standing ovation and big applause.
*If you also interested in how all this epic performances was created, BTS have all the "behind the scenes" for all their activities (music awards, concert, MV, or other historic events in their careers).
It’s part of the choreo and they rarely show much skin at all. JK and Jimin are the only ones I believe who have ever done it during the choreo. As a group they dress like they are from the Victorian age…which is why it’s so effective (read swoon inducing) when done as part of the performance.
