I have the same radio, but my cassete player needs new belts, and I am in the process of wait for the belts to arrive, but other than that it works well! Very good audio on these. Edit: I've also seen white ones and ones with a Shortwave radio band on them for sale. The weird thing is, my model says "Made in japan" on the bottom and not made in china.
