Grew up watching Mr White and Slaton do magic on the field, just wanted to thank you guys for some of the best college football memories I’ve ever had. You guys were unstoppable and magical to watch. Can’t believe that it’s taken to now for teams to just try and replicate what you all had mastered, which has help the great game evolve into what we have today. Big thanks again Mr White for the great memories you have gave me. Best RPO QB ever Mr Pat White🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉

Was up in Morgantown during those years as well. Adam Bednarik was the QB that went down with an injury. Pat came in and played the exact same style, but FASTER and we knew Bednarik was never coming back in. Slash, Dash and Bash the backfield of White, Slayton and Schmitt. What a time to be a Mountaineer!

My son was in both Iraq and Afghanistan during this time. It was a stressful time for this USAF mom. The only time I could get that worry out of my mind is when Pat White and his fellow players took to the field. Pat, you don't know how much I appreciate those three hours a week when "my adopted sons" gave their best to bring honor and victory to my beloved Mountaineers. God bless you in all your endeavors.

Love Pat White. As a USF grad, I remember watching him play quite a bit. I wasn’t supposed to be a fan of a rival, but I loved watching him. As a Dolphin fan, I was really excited we drafted him. I felt like he didn’t get a true shot. I remember people saying he was “too small,” and then they felt justified when there was that fluke helmet to helmet (which could have knocked a 6’5 guy out as well). If they developed guys like they do now, I think Miami might have been a much different team. I would have much rather rolled with White than Henne. That’s for sure.
