    First of all Hats off for this awesome teacher we gothere that were so fortunate to have here on RUclips.
    Luv all ur help.
    I got just one heads up. When working with points cabachone like this here in thia video. SOME stones are very delicate and by applying pressure w the pliers can SHATTER VERY EASY. be aware that this can happened by just applying pressure on the wires holding the stone. Jus' sayin. Be aware. Thanks again for all the tuitorial so we can to become awesome art folks. What would we do without U!!!

    Tried to make round wire #20and #24 dead soft, with 24mm length marquise cabochon, just looks less gorgeous, but it holds the stone stronger than I expected. Anyway, wanted to try it, I guess that I can use weaker hold one, but when I get proper materials, would like to make it perfect! Enjoyed watching and showing your original works!! Thanks a lot!!

      Oh no, sorry it didn't work out. This is one of the more tricky ones to make due to that thick half round wire being a bit tricky to work with. When I first started wire wrapping I worked with beads and that really helped me when I was new because beads are easier to work with than cabochons.

    Thank you for your great tutorials! I have a question. I have a peg board with most of my supplies...anything I can hang. Do you have a recommendation on the best way to organize the types, colors and gauges of wire? Like is there a best method in general?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад

      I'm probably not the best person to ask because I am very disorganised and have all my supplies scattered everywhere

    I have several of these small stones but no thick, half round wire.... Suggestions? Also, have you made any other designs with these small stones? My brain is really not working with me on these stones, I've had them for like 6 month's now 😅

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 года назад

      I know the stones in this video is larger, but this design will work with small stones too, just downsize the base wires from 20 gauge to 21. ruclips.net/video/duTgQQmxdAU/видео.html

    I only have 16 gauge half round Brass wire. Will this work?? Thanks

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 года назад +1

      Brass is a bit more firm, so might require more strength, but I think worth a try to see if it can work!

    BEAUTIFUL Oxana, I do have a couple of stones that this wrap would work very well with, but don’t have the 14 g half round wire, would round wire work or should I order some 1/2 round?. Don’t want to mess up such an adorable style. Merry Christmas to you and your family!. 🙏🏼🎄🙃

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! Unfortunately the half round wire is pretty unique because of how flat it is, so I don't think round wire would work unless you did some major adjustments to the style.

    Hi, I love your designs and am wondering what your policy is on selling things I make from your tutorials on places like etsy? I certainly don't want to do that without your permission.

      I'm totally fine with people selling jewlery they made using my tutorials. The designs I keep for myself that I don't want people to replicate I just don't make tutorials for.

    could you just hammer the wire to make it flat?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 года назад

      you could try but I am afraid hammering it would make it too firm to bend

  • @KYUSSgreenmachine
    @KYUSSgreenmachine 2 года назад

    OMG..at what point do people throw the towel in on this one? Maybe I should pick something else as a starting point in wire wrapping because this is driving me round the bend. I really like the look of it but I'm hours in and many feet of wire and it just refuses to co-operate. Will not stay straight, wires are kinking, stone is falling ot, endpoint is bending arrgghh. I am totally over it until I gain some more experience. I am officially done..but thank you Oxana , there are others I think I can start with..LOL

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 года назад +1

      Oh no, sorry you're having all those struggles! This is definitely not a good one to try if you are just starting out. If you already have that thick half round wire used here, try the one I posted recently with a green stone, it uses same type of wire.
