  • Is your child at the stage to learn colors? A great way to teach colors is through pictures, videos, and repetition with the color name and repetitive language. Being able to visually identify objects that can be red as well as picture in their mind objects that are typically red and say "red", when they see the color will help them identify each color they are learning. In this story about red, children will see beautiful real-life pictures of objects that are in their everyday life that are red. Here's a tip to teach each color. Listen to the story a few times to help your child learn the pattern of the story. Then, play it again with the volume off. Have your child or students try to say the words along with the video story, "Red, red many things are red". This will help them memorize and visualize the objects in the story. When you get to the end of the story, repeat the phrase, "Red, Red on your mind. How many things can you find?" Then, ask your child to look around in your home or classroom to find other objects that are red. It's also a great activity for riding in the car. You can give them the prompt, "Red, Red many things are red" as a clue to find red things as they ride along. Make it a game and fun to find all the objects they can find of that color. Have fun learning together!
