Interesting, I'm assuming there's no specific way to place those rings on that shaft, whether they're upside down or not, since you didn't mention it? I know piston rings on a engine is specific, and staggering the end gaps on a engine is a must, just like you did. I'll let you do my ford van transmission next... lol, I wished. Perhaps one day I'll get brave and attempted it myself, but I'm sure IF I do, it'll take me a month with no guarantees... yikes.
