I was told by scholars to love all Muslims, but some of them annoy me so much, that it is impossible to feel any friendly feeling. On the other hand ,I love so many non Muslim brothers and sisters,as they are wonderful kind people
scripture (n.) early 14c., "the sacred writings of the Bible, the books of the Old and New Testaments" (in this sense commonly with a capital); from Medieval Latin and Late Latin scriptura "the writings contained in the Bible, a passage from the Bible," in classical Latin "a writing, character, inscription," from scriptus, past participle of scribere "to write" (from PIE root *skribh- "to cut"). The word in Middle English also could mean "a writing, an act of writing, written characters" (mid-14c.), a sense now rare. The sense of "a passage from the Bible" is by late 14c. Figuratively, of something assuredly true, it is attested by 1570s. As an adjective, "relating to the Scriptures," by 1720. Scripturalist for "one who adheres literally to the Scriptures and makes them the foundation of all philosophy" is perhaps by 1725, certainly by 1857; earlier in this sense was scripturarian (1670s), scripturist (1620s). Related: Scripturalism.
Salamun alaykum dear brothers. The covenant that this verse addresses is the concept om imamate. Allah SwT is elevating his status to an Imam. “I am making you an Imam” And Ibraham had already been a prophet, a rasoul, even giving the title of “khalil Allah” and then becoming an Imam, which is the highest station that one could achieve. And Ibrahim (as) then asks, what of my offspring? ( Will there be Imams in my offspring?) And God responds in the affirmative although saying that this covenant of Imamate will not reach the unjust of his offspring. So who were these imams who were included in this covenant ? Well to my understanding it is the imams of the ahlul bayt (as). Why ? Well because we cannot document anything before the Imams came into being and appointed by the Prophet Mohammad sawa They are the guardians and the interpretors of the holy Quran. The prophet Mohammad sawa asked us to hold on to the Quran and his ahlul bayt after his demise. He promised that the one who would hold on to these would never go astray after him. Have you studied the event of Karbala ? There would not be a single muslim today as we know them had it not been to the sacrifice of Imam Al-Hussain (as) Also a quick sidenote, brother Benjamin talked about Allah SwT talking to humanity as a whole. And that if you do not die as a muslim then it doesnt really matter. Allah SwT clearly states “ Ina al deen 3enda Allah al Islam” The only religion/order is the sight of Allah is Islam. According to the Quran polytheisme is a way to enter Jahannam in the afterlife. There are numerous verses that clearly states this. Islam is the way, Islam is the only thing accepted. Islam through the Imams is the purest form of Islam. In the end of course, Allah SwT judges who He Wills to either Jannah or Jahannam. What are your thoughts about my writing brother Omar ?
Jesus was a mere creation of God, like yourself. Don’t demean the Creator by saying that He became the creation. God doesnt like people lying about Him. youre better than that.
Jesus is the way the truth and the life there is no way to the Father but through the son Jesus Christ! You can not earn your way to heaven it is Jesus and what he did on the cross for our sins that saves us no works will get to to heaven only Jesus will get us there.
