as a one direction fan for the past 9 years, i can gladly say things have calmed down and most fans are more mature considering we're all adults now. of course theres some outliers, but the majority of fans have calmed down. you dont really see fans hanging out by their hotels now during their respective solo careers. things are definitely different. however harry still does get stuff thrown at him a lot on stage lmao. mainly flags and flowers or props

I just came about the craziest thing ever, something called *Sasaeng fans* . These are crazy fans who will follow celebrities EVERYWHERE, from the same flights to take photos of them sleeping, knowing where their favorite celebrities are, creepy things like use the same toilet as them but not for good purposes (😐) to sending them blood letters of how much they love them.
btw its "sasaeng" not "saesang". its a small difference but one means crazy delulu fans and the other means "world" in korean, just thought id let you know :)

The sad thing is sometimes when security doed their jobs to protect the artists, they get blamed by how they treat the "fans" its so sad, and when something happens to an artist they also get blamed. Like what happened to that 1 boy artist (i forgot the name) the 2+ security just stood there not knowing what to do because the artist is protecting the potential threat...
