    sir the calculation you are doing for calculating inductance is showing the negative value of inductance, please have a look at calculation negative value of 76.68uH at time 06:19

    Thank for the great video. Is 230 V, phase to phase or phase to neutral? You have used it to calculate C while the S is per phase. It should be both per phase or phase to phase.

      Its phase to phase as indicated by the Vp-p. Hope that helps

      @@benjamingomado5064 if its phase to phase then phase to neutral voltage is 132.79V. Why you are using this no one know ....can you please tell me the source of this calculation mentioned in the video.

      @@hocho7254 it should be line to phase RMS voltage. Because the capacitors are in star connection and he divided the apparent power by 3. So, single phase equivalent circuit, where all belongs to phase-neutral.

    @2:08 , eq(2) is missing + Vg, unless you set it deliberately to zero in order to get specific transfer function of a MIMO system. The best practice is to first define abcd parameters of this two port network.

    Thank you for the video, it is very helpful.
    For the equations in step 4, what is the difference between W_sw and omega_sw.
    I think S and W relate to the rated power of the inductor, but this section left me a bit confused.

    Ac to dc Rectifier using igbt also contains the same calculation of selecting the capacitor and choke or its different, please make the vedio if it is different...

    Very nice explanation. Could you tell which IEEE standard states current at switching freq is 0.3*Ig and also which standard states voltage drop as 20% of Vgrid?

    Sir, please, does the design of the filter differ if it is connected to a variable-frequency actuator of the type active front filter drive, I mean that the network is the one that feeds the VFD .... Thank you very much .... I am waiting for your response as soon as possible

    Why you are using 10kHz as switching frequency....is there any method to select switching freq......please share me.

      Selection of switching frequency is based on power density, size, max permissible loss, efficiency etc

    Hi . With regard to equation2 , i do not understand why you can say Vx=Ig sL2 . What about the voltage at the output of the filter ?

      The simple V =IR was used in that calculation. The impedance of the inductor is sL in the Laplace domain multiply by the grid current(Ig) flowing through it. And so Vx = Ig sL2. Hope that helps a bit?

    We used to have an inverter at home and whenever we would turn on the fan using it, a loud buzzing sound would be made. Now I know that it was because the inverter did not have any filters and the fan's rectifier was getting rekt. It was a cheap desi inverter.
