You are so honest, and not alone in your struggles. I wish more people would talk honestly about these sort of issues as so many of us go through them. It is normal, and nothing to be ashamed of or to be upset with ourselves about. What really struck a chord with me was you talking about not being able to speak when you have been under extreme pressure/stress. It has not happened to me but my best friend reacts exactly the same. She literally loses her ability to speak. We think that her body shuts down her speech in order to cope with her thoughts? And it is only when the pressure lifts that she can communicate again. So, again, you are not alone. Your body is doing what it must to preserve. I hope you are feeling a little better today, take care, be easy on yourself and take one day at a time. And share whatever you need to here, a problem shared is a problem halved - that is what they say anyway xx
Thank you Victoria. It seems so odd but it's like there's something blocking me from speaking when things are really bad. I feel like I am slowly feeling a bit better by letting a lot of things go. I am trying to be kind to myself for a change. Much love xx
So many of us feel the same way, you are not alone. The channel is yours, you control when you upload etc, never feel pressured to post anything. RUclips is fickle. You have a lovely family and home. Jobs change! I've been through it, suffered horrible work issues in the past. You said life is to short and you are right!! Make a plan to move things forward. Do what suits you. I'm about to leave my husband, I have to break free. But one thing I know as this isn't my 1st rodeo, things will get better. Sending hugs to you xxx
Thank you for your message, I am making plans to make positive changes. Best of luck with the huge change you are planning to make in your life. Much love xx
I’m sorry that you’re having a low time. Don’t put pressure on yourself to post videos if you don’t feel up for it! We’ll be here when you feel better. Lots of love
I am so sorry you are feeling so low. Thank you for showing a truly human side to life on YT. No apologies needed. Please take care and feel much better soon. Sending love ❤️
It's always nice to know one is not alone and other women are struggling too. Thanks for the honesty. I so relate to your journey. Even when one has a happy and blessed life and so much to grateful for, getting through the day can be tough.💟
Hi hope u are feeling better now. I can totally relate to you. Things will be better we dont know when but as long as your try to cope everyday in your own way that you are comfortable of, things will definitely improve in time. I pray for more energy and positivity for you. Take care and stay safe.
I'm actually in tears listening to you. I'm so sorry to hear how difficult things are at the moment with the way you feel, I have been thorough similar things in my life and trust me things will get easier for you as they did for me you are a beautiful woman with a beautiful family just remember you are very much loved ❤
Hi Rod, I published that video during the first lockdown when I really wasn’t coping and got progressively worse. Something had to give and it was RUclips for a while. I am so grateful for the wonderful support I receive from my wonderful subscribers who understand that I go through ups and downs and I can’t pretend when I’m having a bad patch. Thankfully I’m doing okay at the moment but I’m always mindful that I can slip at any time. Thanks for your support and lovely comments xx
@@LivinganOrganisedLife i understand it must be so awful for you, you poor thing I wish I could wave a magic wand and make you better this lockdown really doesn't help well hopefully it will be coming to a end really soon let's pray 🙏 for that in the mean time you take good care of yourself and always no in your heart that you have friends to talk to including me anytime 😊
I had a similar thing recently in the middle of lockdown in our country right before I changed jobs. A lot of it was because I felt stupid for leaving a secure full time job for a part time fixed term job (so that I could be home with our kids) but also because juggling the homeschooling and 2 full time jobs and never having 5 minutes to myself became too much. I ended up spending hours a day in the garden. I started a new vege garden, grew things that I had on hand and any time I started to feel bad I went to the garden. Sometimes even in the middle of the night. I still do it sometimes now and it is winter here, but it became the only place that I could escape my thoughts. All this to say you aren't alone.
I found your channel when I was burned out. I was having similar issues as you have now and it took me 18 months to get out of it. Annoyingly, there's not a lot of good advice and a lot of the knowledge is scattered, I can list what I found that is practically useful; -your cortisol levels rise in the morning for you to wake up, and drop during the day. cortisol is the stress hormone that's the root of my issues. after I wake up it takes 2,5 hours for this to settle and I feel better and less negative thoughts. -qualitative sleep is at the core of your well being, get 8 hours at least, if you can, don't set an alarm clock and just wake up with the sleep your body requires. slow wave sleep is most important because it's where 'human growth hormone' is created. -cortisol imbalance does not fix itself, there's 2 things you can do about it; 1. excercise at 40-60% of your ability for a maximum of 40 minutes per day. 2. find an activity so you can move around, like cycling or walking, this stimulates hypothalamus and another section of the brain that actively regulates cortisol. -do not drink coffee or black tea or anything other drink/food that has cafeïne in it. this triggers cortisol and adrenaline. -be mindful of "new age" diets like veganism and soy products, some of these contain really high number of xenoestrogens, phytoestrogens which may influence your hormones/mood. -cortisol and testoterone cancel each other out, if you have a peak in cortisol, it will lower your testosterone and vice versa. I don't know how much this influences women, but I found it noticable in terms of mood. -strength training increases testosterone and has many health benefits for men and women -sunlight and fresh air are both beneficial -having a laugh, look up some comedy or go dance -your "intuition" or "instinct" is smarter than you and your emotions stem from there, strong emotions are your nature telling you you need to take some action or change some focus. the solution can be in small things. that's 2 years of research, maybe some of it is obvious but it's practical and proven benefits ;) I enjoy your channel, I hope you get well.
Thanks you for this. You're right about exercise, it really helps me feel better. Also, just getting outside in the sunshine. The bit about intuition resonates with me - I know I need to make a positive change. Much love xxx
@@LivinganOrganisedLife I agree that exercise can really help.. but as women its really important to exercise in ways that aren't necessarily stressing our bodies more. So going for a long walk or a swim, pilates is a really nice way of getting exercise that's not going to increase stress. At different ages/stages of life women need to listen to their hormonal changes and not be exercising too aggressively. Also, I had no idea of your age until I watched earlier videos. I started to go through perimenopause at around 43 and also noticed really significant changes in my mood. Bearing in mind perimenopause can last around 11 years or so, I think womens mental health is hugely misunderstood during this time. Infact if a woman goes to her GP with low mood or anxiety in her 40's she will most likely be offered an antidepressant as a first line treatment. When infact her hormones are highly likely to be the culprit. That's not to say some women may not need an antidepressant aswell as something like hrt. I work in mental health and I also suffered really badly at around 44/45. I recall my GP saying I was clearly in the throes of perimenopause but it wasn't really discussed further. I'm 52 now. I started HRT after coming across Dr Louise Newsons channel..I had been terrified of taking it due to nothing more than lots of outdated and inaccurate information. We need Estrogen and we need progesterone. Infact every part of our body needs estrogen. Brain health, heart health and bone health. So if this isn't something that's crossed your mind, I would really encourage you to have a listen to Dr Newson. A UK GP who nearly had to stop work due to the severity of her symptoms. Be well
I totally sympathise, feeling the same recently. I try to get outside as much as possible, listen to audiobooks or read, have long baths, go for a nap, eat well, drink water, mindfulness breathing.
I just recently found your channel and I had to leave you a comment on this video. I have been where you are at, those moments come and go. I just wanted you to know your videos have been so motivational for me. My mother and my husband actually have notice that my home has been more orderly and clean. Normally my house always looks like a tornado hit it. So thank you for the time you have given to your videos. Please know that you are not alone in what you are feeling. And please be reassured that your videos are actually helping others like myself that suffer from being anxiety and being overwhelmed.
It’s so kind of you to leave such a lovely comment. It’s heartwarming for me to hear that I have helped others and some of my struggles have resonated too. Thank you for subscribing and for taking the time to write this comment, I really appreciate it xxx
Watching your video my heart goes out to you, I can relate to quite a few things you mention and I agree life is to short to be unhappy! I came to the decision not long ago that something had to give!! You are not alone on this so just take some time, think about what is right for you and your family and you will slowly but surely make your way to a better place. Thinking of you xx
Thank you for being so so honest. Your videos have been a great help to me and a refreshing view of home life. I've just left a long post on another of your videos (asking advice about tv) - I wouldn't have if I'd seen this first. You just get yourself right. I will not be at all bothered if you just leave it!
Dear Debbie you've got out of this hole before. You are a strong women. You can do this.Don't forget that.! You are really brave to talk about your struggles. There are thousands out there like you , who know what you mean and how you feel. You have helped them to know they are not alone in their feelings. Put yourself first, rest and come back if you want to when you are ready. Sending you hugs x
Im so sorry you are feeling this way.You have a lot on your plate,it's not a normal time as it is without not enjoying your job. Please look after yourself xxxxx
You have absolutely no need to apologise for how your feeling. As women and men we put so much pressure on ourselves to do everything perfectly and assume everyone else is coping well. Please make sure you have someone to talk too and look after you. Love how honest you are that takes courage and you will feel better even if it takes a while. Your channel is really good and I love watching it. Stay safe look forward to new videos when you feel up to it.
I’ve had this a few years ago they call it , burn out - causes panic attack and a feeling of wanting to stop all the burdens. I got myself a private Councilor and she’s helped me to talk over the positive and see things in a better light- be kind to yourself. Invest in yourself - Counsellors aren’t cheap but worth investing in finding yourself again xx
Hey, you are not alone! I’ve been taking Sertraline for over a year and I had previously taken it and each time it’s really helped me, I can’t see myself coming off them anytime soon, I think like last time, I’ll know when I feel better, but for now, nothing has changed in my life enough to feel happy and distracted from the dread I feel day or night! I hear exercise and anything yoga/meditation can help also, I have tried but I haven’t been able to stick with anything yet, it’s something that I want but I’m not ready for. I also want to start my own channel, anything zen, but again, a bit like how you’re feeling, I can’t find words. I did go to a group therapy, but I can be shy too, so I can’t talk in large groups, I am better in maximum of 4 people. I also had psychotherapy, expensive, but got me through my worse. I look forward to your videos, I hope you have some good moments enough to make you smile!
I had a similar situation 7 year ago I left my job had a few months of and went somewhere new doing the same thing a love but doing part time much better balance of life!thank you for speaking out as for women were expected so much of and life is so hard sending lots of love to you x
I must admit I watch most of you tube on my tv so can’t comment easily, but felt the need to send a comment to you, you are stronger than you think, especially coming on you tube and telling your story, that takes a lot of courage and strength. I too have been up and down, especially in how I feel towards my relationship, as we hadn’t seen each other for 12 weeks, the distance has been tough and the issues I have seemed to have cropped up a lot and seem 100 times worse but it will end and hopefully we will all be a bit stronger for it. Take care and look after yourself and let your family look after you. ❤️
Sorry, I know this video was done awhile ago, but I just wanted to say thank you for sharing what was going on with you because I find a lot of people don’t and I understand that some people may not want to. I suffer severely with depression and people can see me on the outside and think that I am just the best but then once they start to get to know me they realise that I’m struggling trying to get out of bed is the hardest thing to do and it has meant that I’ve had to give up my job because of it but I know you will get there and you’re probably already there because this is an old video but thanks again for sharing it.
I am so so sorry you're feeling this way. I sincerely hope you find your mojo again soon. Life can be so bloody hard, being a working mum with a very demanding job. Sending you much love ❤❤ x
I really enjoy watching your DIY videos because I would like to get better at it. I find you inspirational as you had the courage to fight and get your life back on track previously. Really sorry to hear that you are feeling down but I am sure you will find the strength within yourself again.
God bless you - you are completely drained and it is expected when somebody has been depleted of all of their energy. The expectations of a mother are never-ending and your body is telling you that you need to rest now. You are an amazing woman and I have been very inspired by you but please don't feel any guilt for not posting videos - look after yourself first! This pandemic has put even more pressure on a mother and to not have any help is not realistic. I too have been really struggling. Sending love
Sending love your way. I can't fully remember when I started watching your videos its been years but I watch because you are you, the highs and lows. Keep safe and can't wait until your next video and for you to feel better x
I really enjoy your channel. The only tip I could give is if you could find 30 minutes for yourself once the kids are in bed to have a bit of self care, a relaxing bath or read a book anything that you can mentally switch off just for a little bit xx wishing things get better for you, hang in there, we're almost at the end of lockdown and things will return back to a new normal soon xxx
I am so sorry you are not getting the best out of life at the moment, so much pressure is put on mums to be everything and even in lockdown we pick up all the slack and no matter how wonderful yr partner is it still falls to you to be everything all the time. I'm a single mum and my experience is that I have it no harder than a lot of '2 parent' families. Sometimes I think it's easier as I dont have to battle another human. It's hard, its shite, but we ate strong and we will get through, by hook or by crook, I send you love and support. Please find happiness in whatever you can and I dont know what I can do but reply if I can xxxx so much love.
I started my channel a few months ago because of lockdown because I want to help people to be happier and healthier through the power of exercise; producing workouts for beginners and seniors. However, I didn't realise how tough it actually is to produce them and if I got to your place then it would be the first thing to stop. Not having a job you enjoy must be awful and throughout my adult life, I can honestly say that I haven't been in that situation. My previous job was 28 yrs in the Royal Navy. I am nearly 60 now so close to retirement but not ready to do so yet. There will be lot of people in your situation because of these very strange times. Best of luck.
Ah Debbie, I am sending you a huge virtual hug 💗, you sound very deflated you are very clever which is evident in your videos you share I am sure you are capable of coming through this blip maybe other things are going on in the background as I know hormones can play their part I always look forward to your videos take care of yourself
I can so relate to you! I am in the same situation. Way too much on my plate, I’ve been so overwhelmed with the amount of things I have to think about I am secretly hoping for an apocalypse so I don’t have to anymore. May sound extreme but this is how I feel. What is helping me now is dealing with 1 problem at a time. I made a list of stuff to do, gave them priorities, delegated some and removed some. I almost totally left homeschooling to teachers, kids go to websites to do what they can. I snapped at my kids’ teachers the other day because they are bombarding me with information and “help”. They are making my days so much worse. I decided I am not a teacher and we’ll do some work but will not try to replace the teachers again. I rant to my husband every now and then to get things off my chest. I hope your days get better! You are very strong and resilient and nice. Hope this video helped you at least a bit. Sending you lots of hugs 🤗 and good vibes! If there’s anything I could do for you, please ask 💓 keep us posted.
Thank you Kamila. Just after this video I decided I'd had enough with the home schooling. I was trying to do everything but I scaled it right back to a bit of Maths and English plus plenty of reading. I had to allow more screen time so I could work. It really has been a tough time and I have had to let a lot of things go. I hope you're feeling better now the school term is ending. We can all hopefully relax a bit and enjoy the summer. Sending much love xx
I hope you don't feel bad about screen time. We did the same. It was either that or my sanity. We do what we can, right? Your kids are lovely so obviously, you're doing a great job! Wishing you all the sunshine and good mood in the world!
Hi Deborah I hope you feel better soon, I remember us starting our channels around the same time, and you have done so well which means people enjoy watching you. When you first started you were at home managing on one wage, as you often said this in your videos. Is there no way at all that you could delay starting your new job for a while, until the children go back to school in September?, if this is possible you may feel less stressed. Lots of love Lesleyanne xx
Hi Lesleyanne, unfortunately I can't delay my job but I am taking some time off. I really need a break from it. Glad to see your channel is doing well xx
Well done for doing this talking is the first step. Please speak to your husband and family and even get help via the doctor - anti depressants is not a shameful thing x
Sending you a big hug👼. Thank you for your honesty and sharing your thoughts. I think alot of us our feeling as you do. It has been hard especially when your partner returns to work and you have to hold the fort. This will pass and be kind to yourself. As much as I love your videos stop and take some time for yourself. We will be here when you're ready again. Take care🌹🌷🌻🌻
Dear Deborah, I could feel your pain and I am truly sorry to hear you are in place of both sadness and darkness... The rest of my message is very personal so I will write to you via email. Love Simone X
So sorry to hear you are struggling, think lockdown has exaggerated problems/feelings for everyone and whatever those feelings are it's ok, we all need to take time to deal with them. I've heard a lot of you tubers say their channels are for accountability, they say they will do something and then have to do it to show subscribers which is a great motivator but it should be on your terms. Don't apologise for anything, you don't have to post for us, post for yourself. Take a step back, heal and we'll see you on the other side.......but only when you are ready x
Feeling similar so returned to the book The Magic by Laura Byrne. Some may think it’s rubbish but in my experience it helps shift my mindset and it feels like a huge weight is lifted.
Loraine Forrest 😂 I’m so sorry, yes Rhonda Byrne. I was in the garden when I wrote the comment so didn’t check. It’s helped me as I can feel myself feeling quite anxious and I can’t stand to go there again. Hope you’ll be feeling better soon. 😘
You really need to let something in your life go, is it possible you could start your own business working from home- incorporating your love and flair for interior design? Being your own boss can be tough but you sound like your work is at the root of it all. Be kind to yourself, you are such a 'real' person among many fakes on youtube x
Oh hunny, you’re totally overwhelmed by your current situation, probably physically and mentally. Work is obviously very important to you, not just for security but self worth and fulfilment that a good job should provide. I am sure you are amazing at what you do but the environment you’re in is taxing, so pleased you’re taken the step to find a better way and acknowledge that although work is necessary so does having a good life!! Manage your personal life like if it was your professional job, for example, list 5 things that is making you feel low and what action you would take to eliminate (in workplace for example it would be risk/expense etc). So if one of the issue is housework, action maybe get the kids to help more. If it’s school work, just good planning and letting the kids use the lovely technology, for guidance, tutorials, how to and information. You’re probably also being too hard on yourself, being critical of failures, having guilt but these are signs of a person who really do give a sh*t , that you’re kids are not behind at school, that you can pay the bills, keep on top of housework and do it all and do it well!! Priorities you 5 list and just like a bad debt, sort out the worst one 1st!! You got this!!🥰xx
Thanks Kiera. I know you're right about prioritising the important things. I have been so overwhelmed with everything at work and home. I'm slowly doing my best to get through to the other side xx
I absolutely hate that you are going through this. Unfortunately I can relate. What I will tell you is that you can get better. You can make it through. I don't know if you take medication but it can help you get through the dark your experiencing. Do you have a therapist? Right now there are lots of video chats available due to the pandemic. Seek them out so they can know how dark you're feeling. I've had this all my life and I know you can make it through this dark time. Approximately 10 years before I went into menopause it was the worst. Maybe your hormones have dropped especially since you've had to stay inside and not do your regular routine. I want you to know that your family cares, we care and help is out there. Please do go it alone. Seek help. If you need someone to message, you are welcome to message me. If you feel you can't do any of these things for yourself, show your husband and get him to do it for you. We love you and we are here for you! It will get better. I promise!!! Hugs and love.
We don’t need to be Mary Poppins for the kids. We just need to make sure they do an effort on their school work. We don’t have to structure them, dazzle them, enrich them. Let them be bored most the day. If they “fall behind” they will be like most the kids in the world at the moment. You are never too old to learn something new. That means a kid who lost 6 months of in person class time can certainly figure it all out in the future. Is the tuition school really necessary? Are you just paying for the name and getting the stressful hassle of it thrown in there? I think many are realizing it does take up a lot of the budget and is it really necessary. Why be miserable?

@@LivinganOrganisedLife Thinking of you, hope you are having some better days.
Take care! This community will wait whilst you pause and look after yourself and find your ways forward.
Thanks Karen, I'm taking one day at a time xx
Love your videos Thankyou for being real God bless you & your family xx🙏🤗😘
Thank you Julie, I think I'm starting to turn a corner. Much love x
Thank you, I am trying to do everything I can to feel better and thank you for the tip xx
Thank you Leigh. I am exercising and trying to find some time for myself. I'm slowly getting there xx
I had a similar situation 7 year ago I left my job had a few months of and went somewhere new doing the same thing a love but doing part time much better balance of life!thank you for speaking out as for women were expected so much of and life is so hard sending lots of love to you x
Hugs to you🤗. I really appreciate you and your channel.
Thanks so much Cedar xx
I hope you have found yourself in a better place
I to have had similar issues to yourself
Xx
Hi Brenda, yes I’ve definitely turned a corner but it’s a constant battle. Hope you’re okay and coping xx
@@LivinganOrganisedLife Hi Debbie yes thank you I just take one day at a time and as you say a constant battle ,but we can do this xx

Thank you Birdie, I hope the sun is shining where you are xx
@@LivinganOrganisedLife how u doing this week, i do worry bout people, bridie, Devon x
Thank you Angie, I hope you've seen your partner now. It must be so hard being apart during this difficult time. Much love xx
Thank you so much! xx
Sending hugs. It will pass
Thank you Lydia. I am trying to look after myself again and get my shine back xx
I am so sorry that you are having a hard time. Praying for peace for you and I hope some of your burdens ease soon.
Sending love your way. I can't fully remember when I started watching your videos its been years but I watch because you are you, the highs and lows. Keep safe and can't wait until your next video and for you to feel better x
Thank you for your message. I am slowly starting to turn a corner xx
I feel for you.
You will smash this little bleep.
Keep sending videos.
Be safe
I really enjoy your channel. The only tip I could give is if you could find 30 minutes for yourself once the kids are in bed to have a bit of self care, a relaxing bath or read a book anything that you can mentally switch off just for a little bit xx wishing things get better for you, hang in there, we're almost at the end of lockdown and things will return back to a new normal soon xxx
❤❤❤ I always say to myself this will pass and try to remember last time I felt like it and rememer that it did get better take care of yourself .
Thank you and good luck with your channel, it's a great idea x
Ah Debbie, I am sending you a huge virtual hug 💗, you sound very deflated you are very clever which is evident in your videos you share I am sure you are capable of coming through this blip maybe other things are going on in the background as I know hormones can play their part I always look forward to your videos take care of yourself
Thank you Hayley. I am trying my best to feel better and look after myself. Much love xx
Is there a way to talk with a doctor or join a group that mentors one another who feel this way?
Give yourself time and rest. Sending strength your way xxx
Thank you so much Barbara xx
Thank you Natalie xx
@@LivinganOrganisedLife I hope the fact you are back on you tube means you are doing great 😘
Feeling similar so returned to the book The Magic by Laura Byrne. Some may think it’s rubbish but in my experience it helps shift my mindset and it feels like a huge weight is lifted.
Hi, do you mean Rhonda Bryne? I was intrigued by your comment so had a look on Amazon for the book. 😊
She’s the author of The Secret. Many will have plenty of negative things to say about but what’s the harm.
Thanks, I'm going to have a look for it on Amazon too. I am a big believer in reading and self-help so I will definitely check this out xx
Hi, I have also gone through this. I have sent you a private message on your Facebook page x
You really need to let something in your life go, is it possible you could start your own business working from home- incorporating your love and flair for interior design? Being your own boss can be tough but you sound like your work is at the root of it all.
Be kind to yourself, you are such a 'real' person among many fakes on youtube x
Maybe one day! My work situation is definitely the root of it and I need to make a positive change. Much love xx
Thanks Kris, I'm certainly looking very carefully at everything at the moment so I can start to make some positive changes xx
